aircond in room was warm and not cold. inform the counter but nothing was done. pool is not in the hotel. have to walk / buggy ride to reach it. about 500m away. shared with other hotels. was charged for stained towel. towel was originally stained but housekeeping claimed it was not. make sure you check your towels immediately upon checking in. if stained, better complaint to housekeeping for replacement. else, you will be charged for it as they will claim it cannot be washed off.

Budget hotel in decent location”

Staff double charged me on my way out and i almost missed my flight waiting for them to correct it. Finally they had to send me off with a signed letter from the manager saying i would be reimbursed. I had to follow up3 more times before finally getting my money back. Still had to pay full price for my stay. Not cool

Nice but very far away from ANYTHING”

This hotel is in a developing area of the island. When the construction is complete in maybe a year then this will be awesome. We were stranded for the most part with hardly any restaurants, bars or anything. The room was very nice and we got to use the pool at a nearby hotel, which was very nice. If you want action then stay closer to Long Beach. It was a 15 minute scooter ride to do anything.

The best thing about our stay was the manager, Jin. He went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful holiday. He went above and beyond to help us. I would highly recommend Hotel Amon, especially thanks to Jin.

I just recently stayed at Hotel Amon for the ASEAN Convention held at Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The staffs are very friendly. On my flight home, I had no time to eat their buffet breakfast. One of their staff offered me anything in their breakfast menu for take-out. I said that it is okay because I don't usually eat when taking any flight. I'm very appreciative of her sweet gesture. Overall, this is the place to be at an affordable price. Vietnam is indeed a charming place. Shout out to everybody at Hotel Amon. Thank you for taking care of us.

overall i like this hotel. this is a brand new hotel. is a good transit hotel. value for money. that is a distance to the beach about 500m . 15 minute walking after crossing the main road walking along border of novetel hotel. you can see the beach.

The staff was truly amazing and kind. I was such the first day of arrival and they picked up meds for me in town. The breakfast was delicious and I celebrated my 40th birthday in style thanks to the owners help arranging a special beachfront dinner with balloons, a cake and wine! I would 100% recommend going here. Also, they have the best mango smoothies and the bed is super comfy!

When we arrived and checked in, they wanted to keep our passport (not active rules anymore in Vietnam -I called and inform Agoda). I made such a big drama, and we could keep our most important document-our passport. Beside this issue, is the breakfast from 6:30-9:30, who wake up so early for breakfast during the holiday? Please changes it for a better service. For ur customer. We manage one day to be on time before they close, and I have to say: wow, very nice options of a lot and different food for breakfast. I always request a quite room, they give me a one next to the Main Street- it was load and the next day we got an other one. In general: clean, Not that big room but good enough, a bit pricey for Vietnam and the beach was not directly on the front of hotel, also not that clean or the best beach in Phu Quoc.

Worst hotel we've been so far in Vietnam”

Started with a long check in and received then another room as shown on the pictures. Furthermore,there wasn't any furniture on the balcony(the only room without) and when we asked for it,they told us that they do not have any furniture they could give us (although there were free rooms according to Agoda). They promised us that we will get two chairs and a table the next day,but of course, we did not receive any. One evening,we left the card at the reception when we left (as required from then) and when we came back,they could not find our card and gave us a new one. A very bad feeling knowing that anyone else got your card and has access to your room (furthermore,the cards were stored at the maindesk where everyone had access to them). Furthermore, we had no warm water the second day and the staff,especially the guy,was really unfriendly and we felt as if he was joking about us with its colleagues when we complained about the missing card. We definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

Not convenient as advertised on agoda. Middle of a construction zone. Nothing around. Taxis to and from Main Street 120,000 dong each way. Private beach as advertised is actually 10-15 minute walk away.

Worth the price, great location”

It's near the beach, and the Novotel Phu Quoc Resort. Rooms are in good condition, and there are electric cars free for you to travel around 3km. Good for the price.

Not a bad place to stay, albeit far from downtown area”

1. Basically it’s not a hotel at all. It’s just like some sort of studio sized apartment with lift. 2. Staff would tell you to stay at their sister hotel when Amon hotel is fully occupied, which you have the right to request to change it back. 3. It’s far from downtown area and night market and there’s no activities during daytime. 4. Metered taxis are plenty in this area and you can opt to take phu quoc bus tour and it brings you to many places.

misleading and very loud (construction)”

we only stayed one night because the incredibly loud construction right across the street and because the beach is actually not right by the hotel. The staff and management were great though.

Lhotel en lui meme est tres bien Rapport qualite prix au top Restauration super Petit dejeune en buffet Personnel souriant mais les receptionnistes parlent tres peu anglais voir pas du tout. Plage assez bien entretenue, vous propose un service de navette gratuit pour y acceder mais on y est en 5min a pied. Bemol : en pleine construction , travaux de partout , sans doute fini dans 3 ans. Sur la place une musique dambiance toute la journee et ca commence dès 6h am. Et comme cest assez fort ca reveil tout de suite
