Convenient”

It is nice to find a place in this price range in District 1. I don't like having to climb a flight of stairs to get in the front door, but that is really common in this country. I'm glad the staff is quick to help with suitcases, but when I choose a place I make sure there is an elevator. Disappointing to find a place with an elevator, but still have to climb a flight of stairs to get to it! Maybe this could be added to the description, or the photos of the front show this clearly.

Excellent location, great rooftop breakfast ”

Short walk to opera house, great restaurants around, short walk to many sites. Just not very soundproof so not a good night’s sleep. Great quirky lobby and friendly helpful staff. I will stay there again!

1. The door man don't help with baggage. Saw him cutting toe nails at the door. Early in morning it was raining, the door men sat at the steps ignore to help to get taxi. 2. Breakfast - at 7am breakfast is still not ready. The last day at 9am, the food was finished and took a long time to replenished. 3. Aircon in room was not cool and was upgraded to a larger room with appreciation.

Good for small family stay”

Great breakfast, convenient location, quiet room. Three of us in family room a bit cramped but comfortable. Good selection of English TV Channels. Check in and out a breeze. Convenience store nearby and a nice pub in the basement area. Two tips: Only use Vinasun taxis in the city and you can get a sim card at most electronics stores--we went to an apple authorized reseller and paid much less cost than was asked at airport.

Good location and breakfast”

Great location, easy to walk to city centre, markets with plenty of choices of restaurants and shops around. They provide good breakfast and staff are friendly. We stayed in double room and premium triple room. In general rooms are clean. The premium room is spacious enough for 3 and has enough bench space. However, the double room is a bit small (big enough for 2) and only have a small dressing table with no power socket around. So need to put the kettle on the floor.

centrally located. beautiful and clean little place. extremely friendly staff. really clean and well maintained rooms with a beautiful 5 star ish bathroom. good breakfast. pressing and all other facilities provided in house at good rates. highly... and i mean highly recommended. Cause you get 5 star service for 1/4 the price

Just Right”

Good location no doubt. I arrived around 2am in HCM but the front desk are all sleeping at the couch, it was hard to wake them up and I had to ask the guard to wake them up. The next day there’s this guy front desk person who’s bot so helpful when i asked if their kitchen can serve some ice - he was kinda rude. Room wise it was just okay, Room 703 A/C is not working perfectly. Hardly cold in the room. Only thing i liked here is the breakfast and the good location - thats it.

I am here all the time for when I travel to HCMC for work. Staff are great. Breakfast is amazing for the price of the room. Hands down best value for location. Only thing I would be critical of is the WIFI. It is not always fast or working. Other than that. Great!

Good things: Good location, nice front office staff, clean facilities, booking via Agonda is cheaper than booking directly at the front office. Improvements: in room 306 the shower faucet leaks water, telephone cable is broken and I couldn't contact with reception, I felt so annoying. The restaurant staff is not flexible, because when i checked in the restaurant without bringing the breakfast ticket with me, i read my room number but he insisted asking me to hand him the ticket which i have not experience in any other hotels, resorts.

Great little hotel in Saigon”

I don’t know why this place has had such bad reviews. The staff are friendly, the breakfast buffet is really good and I love my room. Plus there is bar underneath selling ten sorts of draught beer. What is not to like ?

Location”

Location is good, easy access to everywhere. We were uograded to a deluxe room with city view. There are 2 bars downstairs to grab a drink. No hooks in the bathroom to place your towels. Breakfast was simple, did not have too many choices. Elevator not working well, the G button wouldn't work. I stopped on the 3rd floor twice, had to take the stairs.

We got an excellent deal during low tourist season. The decor was beautiful and the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good and there was a view over the Sai Gon River from the rooftop restaurant. The only disappointment was that the room had a rather musty smell due to lack of ventilation. Otherwise, a really lovely hotel in a popular location.

Thankyou for a very comfortable stay in HCMC. Highly recommend staying at Asian Ruby as the staff are very friendly, rooms comfortable and breakfast buffet very satisfactory. Really enjoyed all the food and the noodle soup was fantastic

2nd Stay - Will book again”

Superb value. decent free breakfast and central location. the only issue is that the rooms are a bit tired, but cant complain at this price for any better. staff as usual very helpful. the night manager is usually quite grumpy if you arrive very late - but thats understadable isnt it? haha.

it's located in central of HCM city. The breakfast was great and I could get housekeeping service everyday and it was vert satisfactory. Also most of staffs were very friendly and helpful, I would stay here again when I come to Vietnam.

Great Value”

Nice location and great rate. However, a few cleanliness issues in the room where glasses were not washed one day and a bit of a mouldy smell in the toilet. Wasnt too bad - just issues, if cleaned up would be great. Breakfast was basic - as one would expect for such a rate! Overall, happy.

cheap hotel, good value for the area would highly recommend. excellent Street food all around and not too far from backpacker boozing and the museums and sites. breakfast part of the deal and is decent enough. note that breakfast is on th 8th floor, lift only goes up to 7. friendly and helpful staff

Very rude and unhelpful staffs in front desk ”

Walking into lobby was very nice hotel with free snacks and drinks 24hrs. Room was generally ok but the staffs in the front desk were very rude and not helpful at all. Location was good but will avoid booking this hotel as there are many other similar hotels nearby. If they can improve on their customer service I will consider going back to this hotel for the price.
