L'albergo ha alcuni buoni spunti ma le stanze sono minuscole... perlomeno la mia era la peggiore del piano... All'arrivo non trovavano la mia prenotazione, l'ho mostrata e mi è stato chiesto di inviarla via mail.. a 4 diversi indirizzi.. nulla non ricevevano e come altri hotel in Vietnam il tecnico it è sempre di passaggio il giorno dopo o appena andato via.. in ogni caso sono stato accettato, ma che fatica... Non male la colazione, ma non ho mai visto altri ospiti.. bah.. Non c'è piscina, ne una gran vista, Hcmc rispetto ad altre città asiatiche sta appena sperimentando un boom turistico.. non sono pronti!

Everything was excellent except the location...”
Room was just the right size, nice and comfy. Bed was soft and comfortable to sleep in, and the same goes for the pillow. Many nice little touches around the room like a passport card that holds your keycard, breakfast vouchers, wifi password, and so on. Also little cards and notes around the room to show their eco-friendly stance. They provide complimentary toiletries including shower foam and shampoo which was a nice touch. But one caveat is that the toilet tends to get flooded easily with water after you shower. Location wise wasn't that convenient, and you will find that you have to always use Grab to get closer to the city area and any other locations. There's a mini mart just next to the hotel though which is good, and a famous banh mi store too which is always busy. Nice variety of food items for the breakfast which is rare for a hotel at this price point, and there's definitely something you can find that suits your taste.

Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Convenient location. Small room but clean and tidy. We appreciate their environmental friendly vision. We do not think twice to stay again.

The accommodations at the Asian Ruby Select Hotel are clean and serviceable. Located in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City, this hotel is within easy taxi distance of any site in that district. The Asian Ruby has room service but no onsite restaurant. The complimentary breakfast is well-presented, but that is the only meal one can easily eat in the hotel. Street food and small restaurants abound in the area; so, you won't go without food. The hotel has one elevator; so, you might have to wait to get upstairs, but the rooms are clean and well-appointed for a low-mid-range hotel in HCMC. There are two Asian Ruby Hotels on Bui thi Xuan Street, and the one I visited was located at 122F-124F1.

Rude staff”
- Rude counter staff during night shift - asked for extra room key due to my card key i left inside room - as i am from Singapore. Counter staff talk to me in chinese. I told them i am not from china. And i dont understand chinese - counter staff replied. Singapore don't understand chinese? -doesnt mean all Singaporean can read and understand chinese -breakfast choice was limited and little - will never ever come back to this hotel again

Good location and very good value for money”
Very good location! Family room (2 rooms) was nice and clean and there was enough room for luggage for 4 people. Breakfast room was a bit too small. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3:30PM so this was a bit dissapointing.

Nice place overall, but need more hospitality”
I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Overall a beautiful classic style hotel with the aroma of lemongrass inside, pretty much nostalgic. Room was small but clean. However, if the staff can be more caring and have better hospitality, it would be a good stay. The price is higher than expected. 50/50 return

Little disappointed on First Day Check-in”
Booked 3 nights but on first day, when I want to check in room around 5pm and Counter staff told me that due to some problem, they dont have room for me, and transfer me to another branch called Ruby Center Point. I ordered room massage but the man counter staff requested me to come down to pay the money first, not sure what kind of service :( , on my last night, i called for room massage, the lady counter staff didnt asked me to go down and pay the ticket. Hope that they can improve the customer service in near future.

One of the lovliest hotels I have stayed in whilst in Saigon. Very charming staff who go out the their way to assist you in every way. Excellent buffet breakfast with good choices.Will definately be using again.

The hotel was overall satisfying for me. It has very rich continental breakfast, modern and new facilities, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing I disliked was the size of the room. There was really less space even though I had a two persons room on my own. However, it is very clean. I enjoyed my stay there and I recommend it.

No twinbed. Breakfast no set up outside. Restaurant staff not helpful except guy on egg station. Elevator did not work.

No city-view ”
Booked that hotel bcoz in description were written wide window with city view. But it's just a small window with view in back. In addition is there only one lift and he wasn't working. Night staff unfriendly. Felt I bothered him as I did ask for shop sticks.
