Very happy during with our stay”
We’ve spent 5 night in Athens hotel. The staff from the first moment was very polite and attend to what we needed. The breakfast was every day the same, but huge variety for every one. We appreciated that the restaurant is on the 10th floor with a view over the whole city. The hotel is located close to lots of restaurants and a huge super market. The windows are a high quality, so we had a very quite room. The guy outside the hotel was very helpful with the taxi and crossing the street. The gym and the massage area looked like under construction, but that didn’t bothered us. Very high recommended hotel.

Second time we booked was not so good”
The First time we booked this hotel we have a great room with a great view and very nice bathroom but the second time we booked we got a room facing a very dirty alley and bathroom was not as nice. This time we are booking on our wedding day before leaving for our honeymoon in Phu Quoc Island. I hope the stay will be much better.

Very good consistent service and quality. Recommend for stay near District 10. Stayed here 6 times during trip to vietnam. Friendly, accommodating Staff. Clean and spacious rooms for comfortable stay. Good option if staying Outside of district 1. Close to tan on airport. Easy to access to taxi or Grab. Nearby walking distance to "Walmart" like store to buy any basic necessities. They accept credit card. Nearby walking distance restaurants to try out.

Good option outside district 1”
I have been staying at Athena on every trip except my last one and i came to realize you do get what you pay for and much less. My wife wanted to save some money and try a cheaper hotel outside of district 1 where her family lives. Looked and only found 3 or 2 star hotels that are not worth their cheap price. The rooms had smells coming from the vents and drains. If you are not used to the traditional viếtnamese bathroom/ shower setup, you won't like it here. Athena feels comfortable and clean. These 2-3 star hotels or love hotels were asking $35 per night... Pay additional $10-20 you can get a better deal at Athena. They throw in a free buffet breakfast too. We wasted money on taxi looking for a cheaper hotel and ended back staying at Athena.

Decent places, noisy in the morning”
The hotel is nice and clean, great place to stay actually but because i was staying on the 8th floor and their event space is on the 10th, every morning it was very noisy.

1. Bad Acoustic Resistance of the Hotel Room The bar is located at 10th floor. It is very loud when music is playing. And the acoustic function of the hotel room is not good. Our hotel room is at 8th floor and under the area of the bar so we cannot sleep if the music is playing. It is very bad experience. 2. Nice Breakfast 3. Good Staff

Could be better Some of the staff are nice and friendly specially the boys they help with the luggage and the door The room was clean but It could be better We stayed there twice both times we got ripped towels quite disappointed We recommend the hotel to a few friends Because of the good location hopefully this does not happen to them

The Breakfast was good, the hotel team friendly. But, disastrous Spa area......... We booked a massage. At the reception, the receptionist gave us 2 vouchers. The massage itself was good, but the masseuse was very rude and the massage room was not clean. In the description of the massage it was described that you use a herbal tea, sauna and jakuzi. I got none of that. The receptionist did not withdraw the 2 vouchers worth 200,000, even though we presented them. And that's why I don't recommend the hotel to anyone.

Do not patronise the hotel spa”
Had the worst massage experience at the hotel spa. After waiting for a long time in a couple room, the masseur who's also the manager finally came in to massage me. My partner's masseur already started for 15 mins. From the start, I could feel her stress through her cold hands, she was pressing so hard & erratic and hardly apply any oil on me. She hurt me few times with sharp jabs and I had to stop her. And she left the room 3 times when the massage just started. She left my legs exposed in the aircon room & I had to lie on my tummy for so long after a huge dinner. Each time when she returned to massage me, her hands were cold again! When my partner's massage was done, she hasn't even return to the room after leaving for a 4th time! I gave up, got dressed & found her chatting with some new customers! I really think she has already forgotten that she left me lying there! I refused to pay & gave me an irritated look on her face.

The location isn’t great, rooms are ok. The hotel swiped my credit card for deposit and made a sale instead. Only thing that was ok was breakfast. I rely on good internet for work trips, this place is less than adequate for what I need.
