We had a pleasant stay t Au Lac 2 Hotel in Ho Chi Min City, it was very central close to lots of eating places and shops, we walked everywhere, staff were nice, pool on the roof great and it also has a gym We did not have breakfast at the hotel

Au Lac 2 is now Silverland Charner Hotel, it is newly remodeled and much improvements in all areas. I and my business partners enjoyed this cozy and friendly hotel with all practical amenities, excellent complimentary breakfast with friendly servers and kitchen staff, everyone who works here from the bell man Lam to manager Bao is so friendly and helpful, make us all feel like we are at home. Thank you!

Au Lac 2 is now Silverland Charner Hotel & it is 100% better. - Newly remodeled rooms - Newly remodeled exercise rooms & pool. - Awesome complementary buffet breakfast. - Friendly & polite staff. - Central location in District 1. There are many hotels to choose from in HCM City, but Silverland Charner will definitely be our pick whenever we come to this beautiful city. Thank you.

Superb Location”
We had a hard time looking for the hotel as the name of the property was changed to Silverland Charner without informing the customer thru email. The grab driver only relied to the address written in our voucher. The property is under renovation and the choices of food for breakfast is very limited. The property is conveniently located near shopping mall and restaurants. It could have been a better stay if there’s no ongoing construction.

Hotel still undergoing renovations - it will be very nice once they are done. I think the cheap price is reflective of the renovations. The room was very noisey - we were on the 10th floor right by where everyone has to pass for breakfast. I'm not sure if it will be quieter once the renovations are done or not. Excellent location. Needs more seating by the pool.

Hotel is under construction with no warning. Bathroom is flooded. Door on the floor bang against the frame all night. charge my credit card without permission and never found the time I forgot in room. The worst stay ever!

The check in counter asked for my credit card and charged it again wothout my permission! she said its for the incidentals but I'm still charged of 2000 pesos and still not reflected back on my card. Swimming pool is unusable since they have a renovation exactly on a busy weekend . Main reason I chose this hotel is because of the pool and yet they have to do the renovation exactly my 2 days of stay at the hotel. They do not replenish food and drinks at the hall.

despite renovation going on, we chose to return for another stay. better this time, as they are progressing well with renovation. good rooms. quieter. pool is working. lots of plants, and live green wall, good location for relaxation is on 9th floor.

Renovation nightmare!”
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations to both rooms and their pool which is not listed anywhere and we were not informed about when we arrived. The hotel appears nice from the outside and foyer, however, our first room was shaking from the renovations. Trying to be understanding we asked for a room away from the renovations which was accommodated (or so we thought!) However, the noise was even worse! 9am - 6pm, drilling, hammering, jackhammering. Again we tried to be understanding and thought at least we can enjoy the pool....wrong! The pool was closed, yet there were no signs anywhere!! We immediately checked out. Such a disappointing experience and hopefully we get the requested refund! Thankfully we have found a fantastic new hotel!

My concerns were that I was not advised at the time of booking and on arrival that the pool area was being renovated. So not only was there no pool but also continual banging and drilling neing performed all day. I was in a room 2 floors down from construction. Also, the air con was set on 16° and barely cooled the room.
