Great service and very comfortable place”
The service was amazing Ms. Bung & Mr. Marshall went out of their way to help us. Lobby and sky roof is beautiful. All facilities are very clean. The afternoon tea and breakfast was good. The breakfast selection could be better. If you're looking for variety, you'd be disappointed. The food quality was good though, for the spread they had. I was complimentararily upgraded and it made the experience fantastic! The rooms were spacious and clean. Only thing is the shower wasn't draining well. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and you barely hear any sound from the streets. Location was nearby everything and well connected. Kudos to the security staff (whom I shamefully forgotten his name) who lent me his personal phone charger as well. That was so helpful and saved me some money buying an adapter. Overall, highly recommended! Would go again.

Great location, nice boutique hotel”
The location is very central to all the must see sites. We walked everywhere. The hotel was clean and I loved the afternoon tea on the roof top. Also a great location for sunset views and drinks. The jacuzzi pool was a nice place to refresh after a day of walking. The staff were friendly and always nice. Only two negatives were the noise from the street and the honking of cars. It was quite noisy all night and we were on the 10th floor. And the bathroom was interesting there was no door for the bathroom. Although the toilet and shower were separated and behind glass doors. I was travelling with a friend and it made changing difficult as you are in compete view of the room. Unless you changed in the toilet or in the wet shower. Otherwise the stay was pleasant and the breakfast was also nice.

Boutique Skybar Pool Sanctuary In Busy Ho Chi Minh”
My partner and I chose this hotel almost entirely based on the rooftop pool and price. What we didn’t realize was how much more came with the hotel. When you walk in, you can tell the hotel is well maintained and newly renovated. Beautifully, tastefully decorated art is everywhere. The staff are warm, kind, helpful and always willing to practice their English with a smile. When we travel in Asia we prefer places that are central so we can walk almost anywhere, or taxi. Au Lac Legend was ideal in this respect too. All the main attractions of Saigon fit within 1-2km of the hotel. There’s even a market called the Box Market within 3 minutes walk. 7-11 is close by too. Service has also been remarkable. There was some issues that came up due to renovations and the nearness of the hotel. We were blown away by how the manager, Thuy, and her exceptional staff were able to accommodate and turn a negative into an absolutely positive, memorable experience and stay for us. At the time of writing, this hotel is massively undervalued and we’d strongly recommend to anyone looking for a balance of city and quiet sanctuary to choose Au Lac Legend for their stay. Thank you to the staff and especially Thuy for the unforgettable stay! :)

one of the best hotels i've been to in Vietnam. Exceptionally clean rooms with good sound isolation. Staff is very helpful and nice. The pool is amazing with great view and also the location is great if you want to be near the city centre walking distance. there's a convenience store down the road and it's nearby all the attractions. the only downside is the breakfast, but considering everything else - the hotel is amazing

Creative and Refined Central Hotel”
I'm at the hotel for two nights and had originally, and inadvertantly booked a room without a window on Trivago.com. Check this information in the description. The room was decorated in the wonderful signature style of Au Lac, but I chose to pay the reasonable $8/200,000 VND per day, to upgrade to a room with windows. Well worth it. This is a room one could stay in for much longer and a perfect hotel for someone who is over in Saigon working. I really love it. Extensive breakfast and if you are around after sightseeing during the day, there is Afternoon Tea until 5.00pm on the roof terrace. Lovely staff who are extremely professional and helpful.

The best accomodation in Vietnam! ”
We have stayed in 9 hotels over the last 12 days including some 5 star resorts. This was by far the best experience we’ve had! The staff are amazing, the room so beautiful, fabulous pool/bar area and an awesome breakfast and afternoon tea included. We are leaving wishing we had a few more days here. Seriously can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We’ll definitely be back and will share in travel forums too. Huge thank you 🙏

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years but I have to say the level of service I received from this hotel goes beyond anything I've ever experienced before. It did not feel like it was a hotel for me.it felt that I was returning to my home each day. The staff on reception are exceptional. And I cannot thank them enough for looking after me

Great rooftop pool and bar”
Stayed here for 2 nights in a twin room without window. This didn't bother us and meant the room was very quiet and we weren't kept awake by the infamous Saigon traffic. Room was clean, air con super cold and bathroom was nice. Breakfast was ok but was catered more to Asian tastes than Western. The real winner here is the rooftop pool/spa and the bar. Great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The free afternoon tea is also served up here which was rather nice. Its a little bit of out the main area of District 1 and there aren't many restaurants around, but its still an easy walk to most attractions and it was a little quieter at night.

I chose Au Lac Legend whenever visit HCMC so no complaint about this stay. Nice location, right in the center of everything. Very clean. small room but cozy, enough for couple/ family with children. friendly and responsive staff. book on Agoda and got promo. Highly recommend!

I like that the hotel is in a very central location, has a walkable distance to Notre Dame. I was in SaiGon and stayed in Au Lac Legend in April 2022 Service staff are friendly and welcoming. Great hotel in the busy city of Saigon. Very close to the markets as well as the museum. Worth the stay!! The staff was very helpful and breakfast was good too! I also enjoyed their tea time, which they serve delicious pastries, fruit, and coffee/tea.

I always use the Au Lac Legend Hotel when I need to visit the US Consulate in HCM! It is within walking distance to the US Consulate and the surrounding tourist spots.
