One of my favorite places in Thailand!”
I just completed my 8th trip to Thailand and this is the place I cannot wait to come back to. It helped that I did go at a time of year where there were no other people- for my first two days, I never saw another human on this beach. It was like having a private retreat. The staff is SO friendly, the breakfast was extremely delicious. The little cottage was cute and clean, including the bathroom. I was worried about the walk to the beach (normally I stay beachfront)- don't be! It's not far, all on their property, it's perfect. The restaurant across the street is well priced and the food is amazing. And Pia is a great owner (live music, too!) I highly recommend and will be back!

Nice room with lovely garden, Beautiful beach and nice staffs. ”
The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and neat with large beds. We stayed in the new building, in the garden zone, a bit far from the beach, but you can walk through the resort to the beach. The garden zone was quiet and peaceful and full of flowers with nice smell and birds whistles. The beach here was very nice, sand was brown but fine and clean, the sea water in this season (the end of February) was very clear and quite shallow, not too crowded. Breakfast was ok, there are a lot of food in Thai and western styles. The staffs were nice and helpful. We would come back again.

This resort should deserves 4-5 stars. We start with 2 nights and end up with 5 nights. The room very spacious, high ceiling,and clean. All Staffs are well trained with service mind, and professional whether front desk, restaurant, cleaner, gardener. The meal is GREAT!!! and dine in nearby the pool with physical distancing. The vibe is quiet and respect privacy. I heard only birds are singing. There are lot of big shade to move around if you prefer closer to the nature.This place is for you. The beach front is huge and relaxing with lots of big tree. There are some convenience stores around 900 meters away.

Amazing Resort - My Favourite”
The resort has 4-5 acres of extremely well maintained grounds. Including both private beach front and a large sparkling clean salt water pool. I stayed in December for a week and came back for another week in January because of the peacefulness of resort and the quiet beach area. I was in Thailand for 3 months and this my favourite beach area and favourite resort. You go there to relax and do nothing.

Nice resort with beautiful gardens. Many corners for nice photos. No need to go outside or go far away to find a beautiful place. The small bridge is very cute and we can enjoy a good view. The staffs are nice and helpful. The breakfast is great. Really love the shrimps in boiled rice as well as the fresh fruits. Just one comment for a smell of water treatment behind the building as we stayed at the ground floor.

One of the nicest and best value hotels we’ve stayed recently. Staff are amazingly kind and attentive, the hotel grounds are well thought out and peaceful. We’ll be staying here again for any trip to Chao Lao.

The staff are superb”
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is this old woman in the breakfast area who would come up to us everyday during breakfast and ask if we are happy with our stay and if there is anything she can do for us. That is something you dont usually get in most hotels. The resort is also connected to the beach. The beach was clean and not a lot of people. The room was okay, clean and quiet. Although I was afriad at first due to there was a snail in the bathroom wall but even with that, I would still love to stay again in this hotel and recommend it to my friends.

Very friendly staff, clean beach”
We stayed in the new building close to the reception. Rooms were spacious and clean with good beds and great view on the well-maintained garden. Overall staff was very friendly and attentive, the beach was clean and not too crowded. We could do a small barbecue next to the beach and enjoy a fantastic sunset. There's a market, few restaurants and 7-eleven within walking distance . Only 2 drawbacks: jet skis and banana boats come close to swimmers with total disregard for safety (waiting for an accident to happen) and wifi wasn't very reliable (we ended up using our mobile hotspots instead).

Third visit. Always impressed with the attention to maintaining and upgrading the property. The new (last year) breakfast room was spacious and sized for the guests, with a good selection of food for Asian and western tastes. The grounds were gardened and not the regular low maintance landscaping often seen in mid-size Thai properties.

Staff were wonderful. Second stay for me and they have made improvements since previous visit, including addition of a swimming pool. Bungalows are rustic but comfortable. Hope to visit again.

I stayed in wooden building nearby the beach, a bit dark. Location is convenience. New pool.
