Siamo passati due giorni in questa hotel per visitare alcune cantina in zona , il parcheggio del hotel sempre pieno e una strada lunga a fare con le valige fino a stanza , l'altra mancanza che il spa del albergo e a pagamento non e compreso nella tariffa , ma a parte . Tutto il resto le stanze spaziose e pulite tutto bello e curato il minimo particolari.

Beautiful resort, great place to stay”
Room is clean and with a beautiful sunset view from balcony, quiet and lovely surrounding. Restaurant (and cellar door) at the resort was setup temporarily since last year fire, food from the restaurant was superb and great presentation, waitress and waiter are very friendly and attentive.

Family vacation”
Booked this resort as it’s the venue for the hot air balloon. Didn’t disappoint us at all. Staff is friendly. Room is comfortable and clean. Surroundings quiet and scenic. Breakfast is good. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was awesome. Highly recommended.

Luxurious stay”
We stayed three nights at Balgownie. Check in was easy and I was surprised by how big the rooms were. The view was amazing and the property itself was stunning. We took nice pre-dinner strolls around the property and then had dinner at Rae's. Food was really good. You also get free wine tasting if you are a guest at the hotel. We really enjoyed ourselves at Balgownie and would definitely stay again if we return to Yarra Valley.

Relaxing and enjoyable!”
Very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. Lots to do and a great place to unwind and relax. Wine tasting and the restaurant is especially great. Lots of beautiful views and great places to walk and explore. And so close to the chocolate shop which is a big plus!

STUNNING LOCATION, SUPERB EXPERIENCE ”
Staff were friendly and wonderfully attentive, the food was divine, the wines world class (as was our young sommelier Phillip)the room was outstanding and the spa was superb. A glorious birthday treat!

A relaxing stay”
Beautiful scenery, good food, and wine. We enjoyed our stay at Balgownie Estate Vineyard Resort & Spa. We used the heated pool and had a spa room. Heaven on a stick!

Nice, peaceful and tranquil place in the middle of the Yarra Valley. Close to all the wineries; great restaurant; great sized rooms and facilities. Clean and convenient. Highly recommend

Lovely place ”

The best place if u want to do ballooning ”
A very nice vineyard in Yarra valley and good restaurant. I choose this place because I don’t want to get up early in the morning to do ballooning, saving one hour to sleep. And buffet breakfast is cheaper if u buy via ballooning company than u buy from here. The service is the same.

Customer Service”
The customer service at the reception desk upon our arrival (approximately 12:20pm) was quite off putting. Immediately, the staff member had seemed annoyed that we came around that time rather than 2pm as they don’t guarantee early checkins. I tried to explain that I received an email from their staff member prior to our check in day asking “ would 12pm be suitable for a leisurely morning after your balloon flight or are you looking for something even earlier?” (I responded that 12pm was fine). However, as I tried to explain the email, the reception staff member had interrupted me and reiterated that they don’t guarantee early checkins. I don’t at all disagree with her statement and I understand that all accommodation places certainly try to accommodate such requests but not always feasible. But I don’t agree with the way that staff member treated me upon arrival which made me feel unwelcome. In saying that, other staff members were really lovely and certainly much more polite than that initial interaction with that staff member.

We had a gorgeous overnight stay here and enjoyed every moment. Staff were attentive and very happy to help in any way with food/drink. Lovely food out on the deck, beautiful grounds......loved it.
