Great hostel ever”
The place is excellent that it is near the city town and the train station. You can get to there very easily. You might need to take a tram to go to the hostel at first but later on you will get a travel card from the hostel that you can take the public transport for free. The staff there are nice and friendly. They have good breakfast and microwave for you. But there is no laundry or kitchen.

Very standard hostel , clean , staff nice . The location is a little far from the train station , you must go upstairs, but it close the river , very nice view . The price is also affordable for the city like Bern .

Amazing place for family staying!”
I just arrived and new place in Bern. People in the reception is so nice and very kind. If you are a stranger in Bern, they will explain you where and how you do travel around the city. If I have a chance traveling with my family, I definitely visit again!!! Thanks guys!

Very clean and spacious, big lockers. Helpful staff. Huge range for breakfast with good coffee. Free public transport card and good location to get around.

Budget hostel with cool design”
I was impressed by the architecture design which is clean and neat. Staffs were nice and helpful. Everything was fantastic in good budget. Keep in mind that location is a bit far from train station as you have to walk on slope, not just flat area, somehow it’s not a big deal if you have moderate fitness level.

-Location: By the river and right down the slopes from the city center; I really enjoyed the quietness in a very central location -staff: super friendly and helpful -room and facilities: simple and sufficient; the design is very tentative to details -tips: def try the spa across the hostel

Stay in this hotel with my family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. The room is sufficient for 4 of us. We are quite surprise that we need to prepare the sheet ourself and collect the sheet during checkout. Overall, the hotel location is great, +/- 15 min from the Central Station and I'm lucky since the staff provide us with the 'key' to use the elevated kart and public transport during our stay. We also got the opportunity to see the beautiful Jungfrau from horizon during sunrise just when arrive at the Parliament building.

Pros - Hostel is pretty decent and clean. Good breakfast, (bread with jam, salad, yoghurt, cereals with milk, fresh cut fruits, tea, coffee - from my memory). Polite and friendly staff. WCs and showers outside the rooms and common for the floor which I atleast found one always free without waiting (travelled in december - non-peak) Cons - No kitchen/kitchenette. No grocery stores or restaurants close by and you need to walk 5-10min uphill (not a long distance but just uphill and you hardly see people on this way if dark). In general, I enjoyed my stay. Being a solo traveller, these cons were not a constraint to me. Just plan well and you will love it. Just one thing to note is checkout time, 10am which I felt is too early for 3pm check-in.

The hostel also provide the traffic pass valid during the stay. Would be better if check-out time can be later and the shower gel and shampoo are provided.

You need to take the cable car”
Every thing provided is basic. There is a microwave oven and a water pot in the common area. (It is not common to have these in the hostels in Switzerland...) Although the location is near the train station, it is a bit tricky to get there. The optimal way to the downhill is by cable car. My case was that I went to the hostel with Swiss Travel Pass, which was the last day with my pass valid. Every one staying in the hostel will get a Bern Card which allows you to have free access to all transportation including cable car or elevator. I used the Bern Card for the cable car to the train station while I left the hostel.

Nice place to stay for young people and for a short trip”
The hostel is located on dowside of city. Quiet place near by the river (if your day is same moment with group of student, it will not be quiet). Almost no resto, neither bar around, but there's a small resto inside hostel for breakfirst and dinner (the plate looklike the one in every university). A room has about 6 beds, a locker for each one. Almost people come and leave eachday.

The location is acceptable. Bus and cable car can be taken. the cable car is free if you have the swiss pass. Room size ok but no more space left after opening our luggages. Breakfast was really good!

will get free transportation tickets within the city by downloading an apps, including the drahtseilbahn besides the parliament building to go up and down the slope to hotel , room was clean and comfortable, modern simplicity design, receptionist was helpful and nice, riverside full of youngsters having leisure activities, a great spot that full of relax and energetic

Room was big with basic facilities. Small coffee table and tool like the pictures shown. Toilet was big enough. have shelves for us to put our suitcases and bags. No Tv or any entertainment equipment. We are there just to rest so no problem. The room does feel a bit “too empty” though. Overall its a pleasant stay. View and breakfast were nice as well! Because its a hostel, so you are needed to take out all your sheets and return it to the counter when check out.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, located near the stations and the old town within 10 mins walk. Getting to the hotel was a bit trouble some because the hotel located in the middle of the hills. But after knowing there’s a train from above to below it’s life saving! Would definitely stay here again.
