Amazing staff, amazing location ”

Stayed for 3 nights, the staff were so friendly and helpful- helped us book a few tours and gave us great recommendations. When I come back to Ho Chi Minh City I will definitely stay at this hotel again, but maybe request to stay on a lower floor. We stayed on the 5th floor and because there is no elevator, the stairs became a little annoying. In saying this, on check in, they did ask whether we would be okay walking up the stairs each day- which we were happy to do at the time

A home in the busiest area of Ho Chi Minh City”

This hotel is a real find! Low cost (~20USD per night), safe, clean, comfy bed, nice hot shower. The location is fantastic (District 1), one minute walk to the backpacker street and loads of restaurants. Breakfast is small but good (2 eggs made to order and fruit, or other choices. There is no elevator, but the receptionist carried my bags up the stairs. The area can have robberies so watch your stuff closely when outside. Be prepared that they require you to take off your shoes entering the lobby and when in the hotel, a new thing for me. They booked me for a 9USD all day tour to the Delta and loved it. Hotel transportation to the airport is cheaper than Grab or taxis (10USD) so book through them if possible. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful, and speaks English well.

Fantastic hotel/guesthouse, great staff, wonderful breakfast.”

I arrived very early in the morning was greeted with a warm welcome and shown my room. I thought I would have to wait several hours to check-in, but was able to obtain my room quickly. Had a wonderful breakfast each morning. Mr. Chan, the day manager was very attentive and provided patient answers to all my questions as a first time solo traveler to Vietnam. The hotel/guesthouse is centrally located in District 1. The staff was also helpful in arranging my overnight bus to Dalat. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Clean and friendly ”

The cleanest hotel we stayed at in SE Asia. The staff were so helpful and so friendly. The hotel is down a quieter ally in a very loud and busy backpackers neighborhood. Ask for a quiet room if you don’t sleep well with the sounds from the streets. Excellent value for money.

Great staying for 3 wonderful nights!”

The hotel located in the center - we walked from here everywhere, and still quite place. The staff were amazing!!! helped us in many cases (like order a flight ticket to Myanmar), always want to help and asking if you need something - lovely and warm place! The breakfast was eggs, bread, jam, fruits and coffee, it was enough for us till the evening. The only problem we had is the wifi, sometime didn't work. highly recommended place!!

Lovely hotel, helpful staff too!”

We stayed in the smaller double room knowing it had no window and it was absolutely fine for us, nice and cosy. The room was on the 4th floor with no lift but our bags were carried up and we didn’t find it an issue! Breakfast was lovely, the first place to give 3 eggs when requesting poached. We booked our tour to the cu chi tunnels through the hotel and we couldn’t fault it! One of the best tours we’ve done yet. All in all, a lovely friendly hotel.

Unforgettable Experience ”

It was my second time to stay in this hotel and I recommended this to my other friends who also visited Saigon. The receptionists were very accommodating and helped us our throughout our stay. The room have basic necessities and it was really clean. Only disadvantage is that there is no lift but if you need help in carrying luggage they will gladly assist you. They even assisted us on getting tour package along with directions on where to get better rates to exchange money. It was all good but on our second day, the rain was really heavy and there was typhoon. We decided to get a room for another night because our flight was moved to a later time and we’re wet on our way back to the hotel. Since we still have several hours left we decided to push through with our skydeck with heineken tour which by the way is one of the highlights of our trip. The adventure began when it’s time to go back to our hotel. The whole area outside the skydeck bldg is flooded and no cab even Grab is available. I tried to reach our hotel and they suggested we start walking going to hotel or we might be stranded. They sent us direction and we brave the flooded streets of saigon. The hotel assured us that there’s a cab waiting for us going to the airport(good thing we booked this with the hotel early or else we would be stranded). We we’re able to reach the hotel soaking wet and the whole area still flooded all the way to the hotel. It was completely dark because there’s no electricity. The receptionist told us to hurry because the rain will be getting harder. I asked him to give me 5 minutes to shower because I was really wet and felt like having fever. He assisted my friends in getting their luggage in the car and waited for me as well. We managed to check out and got on the car ib less than 10 minutes. My friend even brought the hotel key because we’re in a hurry. We just gave it to the driver so he can return it to the hotel. The receptionist (Chan) even sent us message on our way to the

Everyone was so helpful....including the owner and the guys at the reception desk....... if I return to Vietnam again, will definitely stay.....had the best time as this hotel is the best of all the locations, everything is on walking distance

worth for the price”

Small room but clean. Our room water heater was not functioning well. Requested to change the room but all the room was fully booked. The front desk staff tried to repair but failed to do it. The owner replaced a new water heater for us within 2 hours time. Impressive service!! Breakfast was nice especially the fried noodle with eggs. enough to kick start for the day.

Good Budget Option”

This hotel is a notch up from most others in the backpacker area. Situated down a quiet alley away from the mayhem , but you're still in the thick of everything. English speaking staff are great and very helpful. Room was cleaned everyday and toiletries were supplied. The only downside was there's no elevator. So avoid the 4th and 5th floors if you don't like exercise.

Value for money”

The location is near to the bus station, thus going to or from airport is very convenient. It is also very near ben tanh market and other attractions. The hotel is located at the backpackers street thus finding food is easy. Saigon central market is just across the street. The hotel also serves breakfast.

Always very good”

I've always reviewed them very highly before and nothing has changed. They are still an excellent little hotel in the heart of district one, down a quiet little alley way but handy to everything. I will always be back to stay when i am in Saigon. Thank you to the kind friendly helpful staff

Always the best value ”

I have tried 4 different hotels for the same price and the Bich Duyen is the best. Best breakfast, best staff, rooms and cleanliness. They are so helpful there too and desk staff speak excellent English.

Decent Enough Option”

Not a bad place, all these little hotels in the backpacker area are cut from the same cloth, no elevators and unless you're Lance Armstrong, you'll probably be gassed when you get to the 3rd, 4th, or 5th floor.

I cannot fault this hotel. They do everything so well and are so friendly. Plus they have great facilities and the rooms are cleaned daily if you want. I love their coffee because it's more like we Australians are used to. They allow free use of their computer which can be very helpful and even allowed me to print out some documents I needed. Stayed at a hotel (6 minutes walk away)similar facilities $3 cheaper but service not as good because rooms not cleaned, unable to print anything and charged 15000 dong nearby to print one page, and location of Tuan Anh Hotel 168, not as good and noisy. Staff not as fluent in English but tried to be friendly and no free breakfast. So far, for me, it would be hard to beat the Bich Duyen Hotel everything considered.

I love this place”

It's handy to everything. The staff are so helpful and friendly.The young manager speaks perfect English and is so helpful & friendly.Great breakfast.Rooms are clean & cleaned every day if you want. I cannot fault this place and they will always be full, keeping things the way they are.

Nice Clean Room ”

Everything is perfect! The location is in a small alley but i dont mind, the room is clean, breakfast is still ok, they offer tours which is good for a solo traveler like me. It is really cheap! Will definitely stay here again

Greay value for money”

The rooms are big, clean and cheap. The staff is friendly and accommodting. The location is great -- tucked away in its own quiet side street along with other hostels and guesthouses, but also just a block away from the party street that is Pham Ngu Lao. Bich Duyen's facilities are basic, but we got more than we paid for so it's great!

This hotel is really awesome because of the location, staffs, facilities, room size and of course, the atmosphere here! The two lobby staffs are so friendly and helpful for the stay in hotel or in Saigon. Thus,I strongly recommend everyone to stay in Bich Duyen Hotel : ) You won't regret!

Great hotel and location”

My wife and daughter spent four days. Very supportive staff and responsive, rooms fairly spartan but to be expected. Aircon with no problems. Great location -- in the middle of boisterous Bui Vien but on a relatively quiet sidestreet.
