Small single room but overall is good for solo traveler. Free coffee, with lift, strong air-con, nice location nearby museum and shipping. Nothing to complaint, I will definitely stay again and recommend friends!

Good budget hotel”
We were a group of 3, and this place had a room for 3. Location was good, we would walk into the old city everyday, it wasn't too far or difficult. I'd stay here again.

Some of the rooms don't have AC so it gets really hot. Other than that it's pretty good because it's close to the museums

Quiet & Clean”
This hotel is a solid 3 Star property locate in a good area near the museum district. The breakfast has limited variety but is of good quality. The staff was friendly. And the reception area had complimentary coffee. I was given a basement room, which was less than ideal. I was able to take a public train and trolley from AMS airport without any difficulty. The trip was roughly 45 minutes (with transfer stops). This is a good hotel if you get stuck in AMS. If you use it as your primary accommodations, book early for better rates and a city view. I would not recommend the dungeon (basement), but it was comfortable and clean. The internet was good, but the TV wasn’t functional. Yes, it’s a solid 3

Security concerns. A drunk man banged on our door one night and they had a group hang every night on the front steps drinking and being loud which we could hear from our room all night. Staff didnt care about our complaints

coziest hotel and is right on the museum square, 3 minutes from the Rijksmuseum, and very important information, free coffee or tea at reception , I was surprised, very nice hotel. Thank you City Garden Hotel for my wonderfull stay in Amsterdam
