Bella struttura posizione centrale”
Hotel gradevole staff gentile”
Tutto bene buon servizio staff gentile e disponibile. Suggerimenti: colazione un po più varia rispetto ai gusti europei.
Prima, veel luidruchtige Chinezen. Mooi hotel, vieze ontbijttafel lakens iedere ochtend.
Indian traveller to chaing mai”
1. Location is excellent since its in the old city with lots of temples and most things to do there. 2. Hotel has nice parking available. 3. Staff are pretty nice and helpful. 4. Amenitites nearby are plenty improvements -: lots of wall lizards and balcony windows do not open for fresh air.
Overall ok but there are better hotels for the same money”
We arrived early...could store luggage but were told clearly 2 pm is check in...no attempt to do it early Had problems in the room...first no hot water.....then light flickering in the cupboard..light flickering as well with normal light. Water was fixed but still difficult to regulate Shower curtain old, not nice Bed was hard Is is noisy when other people talk or walk outside...had a loud Chinese group Food ok, nothing wow but ok Good value for money but we see there is a huge choice of hotels in old town and we checked some out....much nicer for the same price
Good Value - Nice Place. ”
The hotel is located in the old city of Chiang Mai, in the square mile, behind its old walls and moat. Its about 2 miles from the Night Bazaar which is the main hive of activity for night life. There are communal van taxis that can take you there for 30 Baht. Buffet breakfast is included, served outdoors and indoors. The hotel allowed me to change a non-refundable booking which was appreciated. The only negative point was very bad air pollution in the Chiang Mai area at the end of March due to agricultural burning, I wasn't expecting it and this honestly did spoil the trip, but certainly not the fault of the hotel.
Fine and comfortable- good location”
I’m traveling on my own and wanted a good location to visit the night markets. I felt very safe here. However, unlike other hotels with public spaces like their asome pool. 99.9% of the other people staying there were from a chineese tour company and they spoke little to no english.
Great Pool, close to the biggest temple”
Breakfast was good although more variety for westerners would be good. Rooms comfortable aircon good and close to Sunday walking street and heaps of massage places. Typical hard mattress but that’s Thailand, still slept well here
When we arrived at the hotel, all we can say were "Wow"! The hotel looks beautiful with the classic decoration. They have nice swimming pool and great garden view. It's absolutely relaxing and chill. The hotel location is close to 7/11 and easy to access to restaurants, food court and temples surrounding. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful as you ask them about the location nearby. I'm more than happy with the quality of the hotel and will definitely come back soon!
The room is cozy and tidy. Air conditioner work efficiently and quietly. De Charme Hotel is located nearly the center of the city. So staying here not only be convenient but also very feasible for us to travel wherever we would like to go.
Very Nice and Well-run Hotel”
The location may be a bit out of the way (one minute walk from Wat Phra Singh) but I rented a scooter (from across the street from the hotel) so we were okay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There is a large swimming pool although the water was very cold in January. You will feel that the hotel was run very professionally. Negative: We had to leave for the airport at 4 AM. I booked a taxi via the front desk. The hotel charged us 400bt for supposedly a taxi but it was a private vehicle. I was ripped off because it should only cost 150bt, maybe even cheaper by Grab. I should have cancelled the booking but I was not thinking and the currency conversion temporarily confused me.
Would be 5stars if not for hard bed and no shower pressure ”
Hotels is very clean and beautiful. Staff was so nice and helpful. Street outside was a bit busy for me but the location was in the old city which I wanted. Breakfast was the same every morning however lots to choose from and enjoyed it. Room was spacious. The bed was so hard but when we couldn’t take it the 2nd night and we complained they immediately understood as we’re sure not the first and delivered up a topper. Bathroom was tiny and shower had no water pressure. Despite all this the staff and cleanliness of this place we would definitely come back again
Great clean hotel, helpful staff, Wi-Fi sometimes intermittent”
The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area beautiful. Lovely large deluxe room but we have stayed in much cheaper places where the Wi-Fi was much better. The only negative would be the 6.30am fire alarm which was a little alarming (no pun intended!) We also had our room door opened twice during our stay without knocking, quickly apologised.
Best part of our trip in Thailand outbid a few others popular airbnb home and hotels. The room is spacious. Staffs are accommodating than any other hotels we have been. Overall ambience is chill and peaceful. Our favourite part is the breakfast buffet. They have a nice pleasant outdoor seating area that is sheltered, with BBQ and egg dishes live station next to it. The place is cozy, also fully booked, you would never feel it's over crowded. Love it. Definitely would recommend any other one to stay with them.
The cozy boutique hotel that I would recommend.”
My fiancée and I stayed in de charme hotel for 5 days as our last stop in Thailand. Before that we arraged our accomdation in a few stylish airbnb homes and boutique hotels so we never had too much expectations for this ordinary-looking hotel. However, this has turned out to our favourite stop and best part of the trip. Upon our arrival, my fiancée was having a fever so we wanted an early check-in. They didn't have a room yet but the front desk kindly arranged us to rest in the air-cond library room. They also helped us to call and confirmed our tick
very nice hotel, sweet staff. the shower is small but not too small. the bed is just a bit too hard. the pool is a big plus. the breakfast is nice but they have a problem with the fast refill, worth to wait.
Great hotel. Bathroom is small. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great location. Definitely would come back
Great staffs ”
Front desk staff are very helpful
Good value for money but a few issues with the room”
De Charme was good value for money and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However there were a few issues with the room that you wouldn't get with a more pricey hotel. The air conditioning was not very effective. The shower generally only had cold water (except for a few random occasions) and the shower head could not be adjusted and sprayed directly outwards into the shower curtain (which was not only annoying in terms of its use, but meant water ended up dripping down onto the bathroom floor). The toilet stopped flushing at one stage. Breakfast was fine, but not a huge variety and food seemed to have been left out for a while. There were often ants getting into the fruit! The pool was lovely - from the pictures we expected it to be in shade for most of the day, but in fact it is only shady in the late afternoon. There are not many deck chairs, so on some occasions we could not lie anywhere (and I expect this would be worse in busier times of year).
Its value for your buck if you not looking at extra add ons like gym or bar. Pricing is very competitive for the general facilities lime clean rooms, decent bf and proximity to famous heritage sites and temples. Staff are friendly and quite helpful though many at reception desks are out of towners or lack command over English to help you with local guidance. But cant fault them on their keenness to be helpful.
