Hotel with 5 star service and staff”
This hotel really suprised us given the affordable price. We were a group of four and we stayed in the Deluxe Family Room. Check-in was smooth and the receptionist was very friendly. You also get a very filling Welcome Pizza from the manager, a unique touch by this hotel. The room we had looked 5 star. The beds were comfortable and you can be moved upright or lower via remote control. The bathroom was amazing and equipped with a whirlpool bathtub! Our room was cleaned everyday and they constantly replenish our toiletries. Breakfast starts early at 7am. This is good because it means you can do more in a day. Other hotels only start at 8 or 9. Also unlike other hotels in the same price range, this hotel's breakfast is extensive. Breakfast usually consists of rice, sausages, 2 kinds of soups, salad, bread, banana, cereals, orange juice, milk, and of course kimchi. Wifi is fast and reliable. Small things I like is that you get connected easily without inputting the password. Location wise, Sungshin Women's University Station is a 3 minute walk. This line is the same line as Myeongdong and Dongdaemun so you don't need to transfer lines. The area around has lots of restaurants and a Starbucks. If your into skincare, most of the major cosmetic shops you find in Myeongdong like Innisfree and Nature Republic, you will also find in the shopping street a block away from here. We actually just did our shopping here. But what I like really best about this hotel was the friendliness of the staff. Believe me, I am Filipino and we know what friendly is. :) Everyone was approachable and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Marco, Luis, Charlie and the girl from Singapore for being patient with my 75 year old father. He can be a handful. But he really appreciated the small talk and wishes all of you the best in your life. Apart from great location, great cleanliness etc, the customer service is super excellent! The staff went beyond what they are supposed to do!! My brother had an accident and broke his arm one week before our trip. He went for surgery but he needed to have a follow up visit to open the staple from the surgery on the day that we’re in Seoul. When we arrived in the hotel, we went to the reception and asked for nearby clinic who could help us to remove the staple. The assistant manager, Charlie was in charge at that time and he said that he would help to call the hospital and find orthopaedic for us. He even offered to accompany us to go to the doctor as he’s concerned that we had a difficulty to communicate with the doctor as we don’t speak Korean. The doctor also charged us the resident’s rate instead of foreigner’s rate as he was with us. This is amazing. Thank you Charlie for your help.

I rarely bother to write reviews to hotels or places I go to, but this place was one of those ones where it would feel wrong not to. I decided to pick this hotel because of all the good reviews people were giving, and after staying here for 6 days, I can see where all these come from. Overall, the place was great and it was definitely worth the value. The staff was very friendly as the name suggests and they were very accommodating. The place was clean. the ambiance was great, and they offer great service. They also have a contract with a taxi driver which brings you from their hotel to Incheon Airport for 50,000 won, where I believe it would normally cost 75,000. The only thing that I wouldn't give a 5 star in would probably be the location, as it is fairly far from the airport, and about a 30 minute bus ride to the heart of Seoul. However, the location is still pretty good, and it is very close to a bus stop, (I'm really just nit-picking at this point) I would 100% recommend this!

Best decision ever - clean room, near subway and shops”
Location - Excellent! 3 min walk to subway which is same line as the famous markets (Myeongdong, Dongdaemun). Near 24hrs convenience stores, and different shops. Innisfree and Nature Republic shop is nearby, I love Korean beauty products! Also street foods, the Takoyaki is so delicious. There is also a BBQ restaurant besides the hotel, super delicious Sukdolbaegi! Room - Cleaned everyday. Has heater, big TV, PC, hair dryer, high-tech bathroom. Bathroom is not too spacious IF compared to the hotels we've been in Philippines, but I think it is spacious IF compared to Korean standard. A good bathroom makes my stay in hotels comfortable. Others - We only found out that there is a mini refrigerator on our last day! We did not notice the cabinet. We arrived almost 3 AM. General Manager welcomed us and looked like he just woke up :) Sorry GM! Sad that we did not get a chance to taste your famous welcome pizza. But no worries, we are very happy to stay in this hotel.

I would highly recommend DH Naissance Hotel. The room was very clean and fully equipped with what is necessary AC, mini refrigerator, complimentary bottled water, tea, TV, bath/ shower and toilet/bidet. They served a very good complimentary buffet breakfast. The hotel is also surrounded by many restaurants, shops, markets and convenient stores. It is 5 min walk to the subway. All the staff at the hotel were very welcoming, courteous and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, there were no communication problems as all the staff spoke at least two languages, I can’t praise the staff highly enough. A special thank you to Charlie and Marco (my heroes) between them encouraged and help me work out the train journeys to various tourist attractions/places to visit and for making my first visit to Seoul a wonderful and stress free experience, especially for someone who traveled for the first time alone at the age of 69 to Seoul. I can’t wait to visit Seoul & stay at DH Naissance again.

Excellent value for money: Room size, Modern facilities, Sound Proofing, and Amenities all commendable (Double room and above) * Budget twin recommended for business travelers. Smaller size room with 2 comfy beds and pillows. Could be in adjacent building Staff is friendly, informative, proactive, and multilingual. There is a staff member somewhere from SE Asia as well. I'm quite picky when it comes to cleanliness but here, all the boxes are checked. Towels, pillows, sheets, dust bin, counter tops, and the restroom all were clean and well maintained with no foul smell whatsoever. * One of my favorite points is their conditioning shampoo. Shampoos even in top tier hotels (Hilton, Hyatt, Inter-series, Meridian) feel dry and excessively crispy after use. Feels like my hair has much more moisture retained in comparison to others.

We had a great experience staying for 8 nights in Friendly Hotel. The staffs are very accommodating. Charlie and Marcus was indeed really helpful. I sprained my ankle during the trip and they provided me immediate assistance by giving me pain killers (Marcus' personal meds) and helped communicate with the pharmacy nearby. The breakfast food was good (but hope they can change the menu maybe twice or thrice a week?). The room was spacious and really clean. Nice location, very accessible! There's actually a shopping street, nice restaurants, cafes nearby. Also, I like that they offer a free tour to a nice and unique place up in the mountain but unfortunately we weren't able to avail it cos of our sched. This hotel has great value for money - first is the location is 2-3mins walk from the bus and subway station, it’s located in a nice neighborhood with restaurants, convenience stores and the overall atmosphere of the neighborhood is very pleasant! Second would be amenities, for the budgeted pricing, you get a very spacious and overall comfortable room and bathroom (shower and bath tub). They also serve a rather filling breakfast. Last but not the least, their excellent customer service. All their staff speaks english and their Assistant Manager - Charlie went beyond what was expected by accompanying me to the bus station for my trip back to the airport. I truly had an excellent stay at this hotel and would stay here again when I come back 😀

We only stayed 2 nights in this hotel and we loves our stay here! Our room was upgraded and I can't believe how spacious our room was which you could not find anywhere in Seoul for the same price. Breakfast was simple but tasty and enough to fill your stomach for the whole day. What I appreciated most from our short stay here was the hospitality of the manager (I presumed he is from the pictures around the hotel). We only asked but he personally helped us load our T-money card and showed us all the way to the Subway station. He also thought us what application to use to go explore and gave us tips for navigating their subway. We could not forget his act of kindness because we reached the meeting place on time. If not for his help, maybe we will not be able to go participate in the tour. Also, when he asked for a samgyupsal restaurant, he personally again showed to us to the best samgyupsal restaurant around the area in a very affordable price. We loved the Samgupsal in that restaurant so much. Comparable to the Michelin samgyupsal restaurant we just recently had in Jeju. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is near the subway station. Also near a night market. There is a convenience store nearby also. We will surely go back again next time!

I travel alone and it was important for me to have place near the center of the city and not too far from subway (walking 3-4 min). This hotel is perfect in every possible way. All staff was very kind and helpful all the time! My room was cleaned every day so as towels were changed every day too. There are many cafes and restaurants near the hotel so you'll never be hungry even if you want too! And pizza from Monster's pub (2nd floor of the hotel) was amazing! Thank you for your hospitality! If I'll come to Seoul again, I guess I'll be your guest again)

I only booked this hotel because of the good reviews it received from previews travellers. And now, I am really impressed. Despite the cold weather, the staffs are really warm, accommodating and can speak good english. Special mention to the 2 portugese guys, one having stayed in the Philippines and Mindrum. The rooms are clean and spacious considering the price. The breakfast is quiet decent but the same everyday. It would be nice if there is small variations to excite us every morning. The FREE pizza is authentic now because of their Italian Chef. The location is also superb because of its proximity to the subway and lots of restaurants and shops.

This is a really surprising and impressive hotel in the center of Seoul. I would recommend it to all type of travelers, single, couple or family. The room are really clean and cosy and the staffs really lovely and English speaking. I don't think that you can find a better deal in Seoul regarding the rate! One other interesting aspect is that the General Manager will welcome you with a handmade pizza for each new visitors. Definitely I will come back ! Thank you hotel managers. The General Manager also send me a gentle memo after I checked out to thank me.

Great hotel, very accesible location. Near to metro station, airport bus & a lot of shoppings, eateries, convenience stores, etc. The room is clean & spacious. Special thanks to a kind-hearted, amazing & helpful assistant manager, CHARLIE. He personally assisted us on our first day looking for subway station with my mother with wheel chair, provided us with evening tour although it's late, also helped us with our luggages to get transportation to the airport in a very late notice. How an awesome staff. Definitely deserves all stars. Highly recommended!

Staff are polite and very helpful. Room is super nice and spacious with a super cool jacuzzi. We stayed for 2 nights and the manager told us that we were entitled to free pizza slices each person. Yay!!! Free pizza ware super delicious. On the day for checking out , we decided to order a pizza delivery to our room before we leave, just to have one more awesome taste of it ........ unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Then, to our surprise , the assistant manager volunteered to personally bake us the pizza & deliver it to our room, with a complimentary can of coke! Super tasty huge pizza! Super nice , super friendly staff. Definitely will come stay again during my next visit to Seoul. Thank you DH Naissance Hotel, great job! We feel so happy to have stayed at your hotel. Greatest general manager, the magnificent front desk intern and front desk Marco. They immediately, responded for every need and question. Very delicious pizza slices made by Italian cook hosted free from the general manager. Room is very clean with all amenities, bottles of water, tea and water boiler. Rainfall shower head, shower in the bathtub. Cozy room but space is much more enough for two people. Lots of eateries and shopping around. Very near to metro station Sungshin Women’s University by Line 4.

I very much recommend DH Naissance Hotel! It’s very convenient, near the subway station (Sungshin Women’s University). There are also a lot of restaurants and bars around the area. Staff are friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. They even have not just welcome drinks but a slice of pizza or chicken. Best monster pizza, super yummy and it even comes with a sauce. Room is a bit spacious especially the bathroom. It comes with a jacuzzi wherein you can have your bubble bath after a full day tour! The best thing is you can also schedule your free private tour with General Manager Min! He will take you to places wherein only locals go to and all are amazing. He even treated us with delicious coffee and bread during the tour. Very personalized and accommodating! Will definitely stay here again when I visit Seoul!

Our stay here is probably one of the best accommodations we had. Shout out especially to Marcus for being so kind, so friendly, so considerate. The room was big and clean. Complete toiletries. The welcome pizza was good. Location is very good because it is near lots of good restaurants and store. Also near Sungshin Women's University subway. Daily room service, clean & with full amenities. Free breakfast was a plus on savings albeit monotonous. Helpful staff with good suggestions on places of interest & tour arrangements. Don't need to go anywhere if you are looking for eateries, shops, all around the hotel. Just a 2 min walk to subways. The MONSTER PIZZA is not to be missed!!!

We visited 5-12 December 2019. Cold Winter lowest -10 C. Standard double bed room. A very good value hotel, good location, clean & cozy, many shops and restaurants only steps away, subway station very nearby. Friendly and good staff service as per the Hotel's name. With whirlpool bathtub very good for a hot bath especially during the winter time. Heated floor system give a special comfort.
