Fun theming, comfortable hotel, great location”
We had an outstanding stay at the Swiss Chocolate Hotel Zurich. Great theming, architecture, furnishings, cleanliness, and overall ambiance, at a very affordable price. The staff was outstanding, especially the man that checked us in. The room was comfortable and modern, and the decor was fun and contemporary. Easy to walk to old town and major attractions, and public transportation is just outside the hotel. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again if we are in Zurich.

What can I say ? First class .! This hotel was our 4th travelling through Europe from England on a Motorbike. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Nothing was too much to ask of them. Excellent location in the heart of the city.The room we had was immaculately clean and spacious(business room). I wouldn't stop anywhere else in Zurich if I were to visit again in the future . Thank you for a very pleasant 3 days and nights.

Best location”
This hotel very good in location near Zurich HB which can take you to all places in Switzerland , in front of the hotel there are several tram and bus station with a lot of routes even to Zurich airport . As for food don't worry there are plenty restaurant right next to the hotel , also for supermarket is just less than 100meter ( the cheapest supermarket coop ); I do really recommended this hotel for everyone . The hotel might a bit small in size but the room it's self is enough for 4 of us ( triple room ) .

Lovely stay ”
We arrived early at the hotel with our big luggage. We thought there is no way we can check in that early, so we were prepared to leave our luggage and walk around the city while waiting for the room. But the guy in the reception helped us to check in right away! We were so thankful. Unfortunately we did not get his name. But he was in the morning shift. Thank you again! Room was spotless. Everything was great. Will come back again.

The hotel is clean and location is just a few minutes of walk to the main station. Staff was excellent and a special mention is Sam who has gone beyond his duty to help us. Highly recommended.

Convenient and clean stay”
Property well located just 6 minutes walk from the Zurich main train station. There was also a big Coop just 3-4 minutes away. For tourists requiring pre departure tests, University of Zurich opposite the road offers it as well. Staff who received us was okay. While the registration process was quick, it seemed quite transactional. Others were also lukewarm at best. One big issue we had was having the housekeeper barely knocking the door and wanting to clean the room at about 8.55am when we were still sleeping. If not for the chain lock, she would have barged in with us still sleeping. I would think that hotels normally prioritise cleaning for those who have already checked out at those times rather than existing guests who may still be in bed at 9am? When discussing the issue, the lady was trying to emphasise that we should have put up the do not disturb sign. I mean we wanted our rooms to be cleaned just not at 9am hence we did not think it was necessary to put up the sign the night before. Nevertheless, the room was clean and modern. Space is tight and would only fit 2 luggages. Room was stuffy and warm at night. If we were to open the windows to let the cooler air circulate, it would be too noisy as there were bars and restaurants operating till late night. Hence we slept rather uncomfortably for the 2 nights

Everything is good except for the pillow”
Location superb which near to the train station, eateries and shopping street and hotel is reasonably spacious and well designed. Only comments are the hotel cleaning can be improved. They don’t change the towel or help u wash your dirty cups but they also don’t take ur valuables which is perfect for safety.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location Is very convenient. A few steps from the tram and only 200m to the main train station. The best part is the chocolate fountain!

The hotel is conveniently located near Zurich Hauptbahnhof and the surrounding old town area. Most of the places of interest are of walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although they are rather small. It is recently renovated so most things are relatively new. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean hotel at the heart of Zurich.”
The hotel size is rather small, with tiny reception area and elevator. Though, the room was nice and clean. It had everything we need. The carpet was a bit dusty but every other things were well clean. The central tram station is right in front of the hotels. The main train station is only 5-10 minutes walk. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby so very convenient.

The staff Timotee give us excellent tip on the location of a place to watch the city when the sun rises. Overall good stay, the lobby and breakfast area is rather small, might have some que on high season, luckily when we stay it was not crowded.

Exceptional Value and Location ”
A quick walk from the main train station and right by the charming old town and river. The room was a bit small, but was overall an excellent value for your money. Breakfast is not included with Agoda but is with other booking sites. There is a chocolate fountain in the lobby that you can dip cookies in!!

Love our 3 days staying here in the middle of city centre and surrounded by so many resto, bar & cafe. The famous river just 1 block across the street. Only 1 minor minus: breakfast so little options with the price we could eat outside. And dining place for breakfast is so small. No place for luggage storage in many quantities (us 5 big luggage). But overall this hotel is nice and there’s Starbucks only 50m away.

Love the location of the hotel. But as there is no Aircon during winter, u need to open windows. And it can get noisy. No facilities to speak of. And the room can be a tad small if u have lots of luggage. Staff were wonderful.
