Beach holiday ”

Once again the eardy resort hotel was good they sort out problem with my AC so quick as I come back from dinner find water coming out AC the housekeeping guy Red come my room rang maintenance they come bit could not fix so had change rooms Red very helpful went got new room card and help carry my case to other room which was upgrade for the inconvenience Red works nights he very helpful even not speak English he translate on phone

Fantastic”

I was so lucky that I could book a very nice hotel through Agoda for two nights stay. Although it was very noisy at the mountain view for my 1st night stay but the river view at night was so beautiful. The second day I booked the river view superior room was more comfortable than that 1st day room I stayed. Just one word to say I really satisfy this hotel.

The view is perfect!! Nice staff, the room always clean. Everything is so good. I surely will come back here again soon! The only minus point is: there is a work around the hotel so that it's a little bit noisy in day time.

Good location and great view”

It's located in town which in just next to the famous bar and pub area. The hotel is surrounding by water and yacht bays by which you can enjoy great view in most of the rooms. Nevertheless, do not expect much for service although it is not bad.

Very comfortable hotel room”

Among my trips in China, Eadry Resort has the most comfortable hotel room. Although the time we went it was rather hot, but the aircon in the room was like a refuge from the heat! Room was clean and the amenities were provided. Like the layout of the room, spacious and yet has a small living area to sit and enjoy cup of coffee and tea. Overall the layout of the room and given the higher floor, we enjoyed the stay.

The positives: Amazingly comfortable beds and linen. A large buffet breakfast (paid a little extra in room price and definitely worth it). Really big safe in the room. The negatives: The room was very cold and the a/c didn't heat it properly. The shower was almost always lukewarm, never properly hot - which was doubly bad as the room was cold to start with. Some days they didn't clean out the dustbins (they were overflowing as we had a small baby with us). Under the bed hadn't been cleaned for months. Supposedly the room is 'soundproof'. Ha. You could hear the nightclub downstairs until 3 in the morning and the windows were literally shaking from the bass. We got twin beds when we asked for a double. Finally, the room was nothing like that in the photo. They use the same photo for all the rooms displayed, and presumably it's their best room. Our 'mountain view' was more like a view of shabby buildings. Staff don't speak English. In general I wouldn't recommend this place. Having lived and travelled extensively in China I know there are way better deals out there.

we made reservation for 5 nights,3 rooms, ('group 6 pers.) and every single one agreed to stay 3 nights more, so total nights. the reason: GOOD VALUE FOR THE DAILY FEE, INCL : EXELLENT SWIMMINGPOOL--- BREAKFAST, EASTERN AND WESTERN BUFFET FOOD -- HOTEL IN CENTRUM SANYA-- STAFF OK ) NO COMPLAINES !!! john jojo graham marja lucie jan. 5 stars for great value”

we made a reservation on the last minute but when we arrived they where very nice and helpful even though they dont know english at all they tried very much even by electric translator. the hotel have a huge beutiful swimming pool ( 1.20 depth only ) and many inhouse restaurants. the facilities is in a good taste with many small gardens and gold fish and bamboo plants.

Great value hotel, very centrally located”

Generally a positive experience in what is generally a good hotel. The suites are very large, the beds are comfortable, the views of the river and the city from the top floors are terrific. A few glitches made this fall short of great - it's located above a very very noisy bar area in a central location. Alarms were going on the whole two nights I was there, and people in Sanya use their horns endlessly regardless of hour. So, it's good if you're into partying with the locals, but if this bothers you, might wanna try one of the secluded resorts. Second, was given twin beds and smoking room when the order specifically said large bed and non-smoking room. Staff does not speak English, and although I can converse in Mandarin, they were unable/unwilling to comply with these two simple orders. The concierge at the hotel was absolutely fantastic, very helpful. Wanted to book a tour to the rainforest and betelbut park, but tours were full and wouldn't take me without a local phone. The concierge arranged for private transport, gave me his own mobile number and the whole thing cost the same as an organized tour. Wonderful.

Great room. Uneven but friendly sevice.”

Very earthy hotel with natural eco-surroundings but in the city centre.Staff are friendly, and try to do their best, but not enough speak English. Perhaps they don't get many Westerners staying here? Room river view and size were great, even though I got 2 single beds when I booked a double. Bathroom low and limited on amenities.Breakfast buffet quite extensive and Chinese based.Generally, good stay but for a 5 star advertised 'resort' hotel, I was expecting more.

Centrally located, nice and comfortable”

My stay was for a 4D3N trip, my experience with the room and hygiene was very satisfactory. It is located right next to the Bar street of Sanya, so if you are fancy of a disco/bar life at night, it will be very convenient for you. The room's view is nice because it face the river. My only bad experience was the reception check-in progress. It took me about 45 minutes to get my room and they can't give me what I requested for when I booked through Agoda, the reason they gave me was they don't have alliance with Agoda. I think it was a joke and they are very unprofessional in handling English speaking guests.

best location for drinkers”

I've stayed at this hotel like 3-4 times already. Everytime I go to sanya, I'd stay here because of it's price and location. It's right in the middle of sanya and it's 1 minute walk to the bar strip. It's basically on the bar strip. The hotel has to be at least a 4 star for real. Every room is a suite. The only bad thing is that most of the time I get two full size bed instead of a king size. I guess it's what I pay for.

Value of the price. Near by shopping Centre. Complementary breakfast have a lot of selection.”

One of the worst hotels I stayed at.”

Way under my expectations. The pictures in your booking page should be redone to reflect the present state of the hotel. I had to change the initial room given to me. Shower door doesn't close properly when taking a shower. No water pressure in the shower head and the stand for holding the shower head is loose and cannot fix the head as it should be. The shower head keeps tilting down. The air conditioner does not work. The lighting in the room is so dim even when all the lights are on. Still using old type of yellowish bulbs like in the 90's. Same in the new room. Hotel needs a coat of paint. Prepare yourself to look for the entrance of the hotel. No sign at all to indicate you are at the right destination. Hotel needs a complete touch of renovations to bring it up to standard.

No ammenities”

First, our room was beautiful. It was on the 16th floor and had great views. The living room doors opened up so that you felt you were outside. The staff was fantastic. No one spoke English but they made an effort with translator apps and we were able to communicate. The housekeeping staff was also fantastic. The location was 2 kilometers from Dadonghai beach and you are able to walk there which is your best bet. The hotel pool.....out of service for an undetermined amount of time. The pool bar...out of service. The bike rentals...do not exist. The Asian restaurant never found it (assume closed). The western restaurant... not western or restaurant....Asian version of bbq buffet. The handbook in the room says that they have a shuttle to the beach...they did not. Breakfast buffet- large selection almost all Asian but passable. While we loved our room we were very disappointed with the property in general.

Good location, fair quality and service”

The location is in city center connected with famous bar street, which convenience to go to anywhere, bus station, airport, first market. However the noise from bar and clubs down stair was really annoying. you also can find that the room condition was not well maintained service was really so so, I was asking for front office assist to book a taxi to airport but they refused to help. claim it required local number so that driver can contact me, of course I don't have one. I need to ask my friend there to help me.

Nice holiday in Sanya”

It was very pleasant stay, we stayed in 16 th floor and that was good as there is many nightclubs in this area, but up there was no disturbing noise. That floor is also non smoking floor and good so. Spacy rooms, good air conditioning and even beds were good. I can' t complain.

Stay at Eadry Resort Hotel, Sanya”

We stayed for 4 nights at the Eadry. If not for the condition of the facilities and better quality amenities/food I would have given it a much higher rating, especially considering the price we paid. The room was large, and layout good. Amenities were as to be expected except for the quality. The beds were comfortable, but the airconditioning was just adequate. The infinity pool and fish spa should have been better maintained (as for everything else), but I find the siting to be problematic, as it was almost impossible to be there in the afternoon until sunset as the sun was really overpowering in those hours. We visited the restaurants, but did not eat at any because we felt the quality was not there. Although not located near any of the beaches, it was only 2 RMB on public buses, and the hotel supposedly provides free transportation, albeit with a 2 hour advance notice. But loads of local dinning within walking distance, so location deserves high score.
