Suite with Bay View”
Amazing hotel! The view of the Bay from the room was mind-blowing. Also, great view from the pool and the restaurant. The staff were very helpful. Everything about this hotel was excellent. I've been to many other 5-star resorts in Vietnam and this one takes the cake. A lot of the staff speaks English and they have a lot of westerners working around. They've got a very nice infinity pool with view of the Bay. The restaurant frankly was not too impressive. They had a great variety of food, a lot of different kinds of food in fact. However the taste and quality of the food didn't impress me, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't as excellent as all the other things this resort has to offer. I blame it on the holidays, too many people were at the hotel during this festive weekend. They were still building the rooftop so I didn't have access to that yet. They have an awesome golf course with all the things you'd expect from a 5-star resort. The check-out process took quite a long time (again, do to this weekend being a holiday weekend.) I fully recommend this resort for couples or families, it was amazing.

Almost Perfect”
This is a quality five star hotel with two swimming pools and a really pretty view of the Halong Bay area. Our room was clean. The facilities were clean. The staff was very helpful. I'd give it a perfect 5/5 review except for some really annoying things about their restaurant. #1 - After you make a non-refundable booking (and only after) agoda sends you an email that reads (exact quote): "Room rate is not included a compulsory meal. Surcharge of this meal will be paid upon check in at the Hotel from April 30th to May 2nd, 2021; from Sep 02nd to Sep 04, 2021; on December 24, 2021 and on December 31, 2021." Really? Not only is this not advertised, but it's just pretty unprofessional for them to say "You are forced to buy food at our restaurant at least one day, and pay whatever price we set. If you don't eat there, we'll just bill you." Granted, we were planning to eat at the hotel anyway at least once, but it was kind of offensive to not even be given the choice, and told that we would have to pay for the meal whether we want it or not. #2 - Again discouraging people from eating anywhere but their hotel, if you order delivery, the security guards will yell at the delivery driver, and make you walk across the street to receive your food. Really? How petty can you get. The delivery guy pulled right up to us, we were about to get our food at the entrance, when security made him drive off and we had to follow him to the other side of the road to get our food. Kind of unprofessional IMO. Aside from thta the rooms were big and comfortable. High quality pillows and mattress - exactly what you'd expect for a luxury hotel. Only bad thing is that the TV is a bit small relative to the distance you have to sit to watch it. Given the room layout, it really needs at least a 55 inch because you have to sit so far away. Another thing about food, the menu for dinner is VERY seafood heavy, especially if you order all you can eat.

Very nice place to stay in Halong”
Nice experience staying at this hotel. Everything was clean, the staffs were very friendly, the indoor pool helped us a lot because our children can not use the outside pool because of cold. The foods in restaurant were a little bit expensive but very delicious and worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to everyone wants to go to Halong for the new experience without going to the beach.

Hotel is new, very clean. Staff is charming and slaws ya helpful. Food quality was the best in Vietnam. It’s a great place to entertain for you, your friends or family. I’ve been there already 3 times and I’ll go again!!

This resort is absolutely wonderful for those who wish to relax and unwind. There is no need to leave the resort and go anywhere if you wish to chill and spoil yourself without having to do anything, although there is a free shuttle in and out of town. All amenities are pristine and very well maintained. The friendly staff are extremely eager to help and assist you in any way they can. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return again as soon as possible. I would recommend FLC resort to anyone in need of a well deserved holiday.

Thank you for your kind service during our stay. I found some reasons to come back but with your a little bit of focus such as room amenities and bathroom floor condition, also a convenience or mini-mart and it would be great. The staffs in buffet are not trained well, especially the hygiene such as finger nails, picking their nose, a bit of stiff of face during service, not much smiley appearing in their connection... Again, many thanks to your great team with highly appreciated of your hospitality.

Overall 5 stars experiences but...”
Everything was good, the hotel and whole FLC areas looks stunning. Hotel has indoor pool but may be because it is not much impressive so they do not show case it on the property's listing. Breakfast was so so, acceptable for standard 5 stars hotel. BUT... they required us to pay for the Covid-19 which costs 100k vnd each person while the kit test is sold for 50k-70k in Vietnam. that was not much but not really nice for a 5 stars hotel from that big Brand in Vietnam.

Hidden gem in Halong City”
We stayed here the night before a Halong Bay cruise. The hotel is beautiful, grand, with amazing restaurants. Spa, fitness center, outdoor and indoor pools. Our 2 bedroom suite was impeccably clean and spacious with king bed and 2 twin beds. 2 full baths on the 18th floor with expansive views of Halong Bay. If I hadn’t already booked the cruise, we would’ve extended our stay at FLC Grand. I look forward to visiting again.

We spent two nights in FLC and it's true luxury with all the facilities, view, food and the rest. But only staff needs some more training in English, few of them speak well!!

The Ghost Hotel but with dedicated staff”
We stayed here during the Corona outbreak. The hotel had increased check in procedures for health safety and a nurse on stand by. We went mid week and it was empty! Only 3ish rooms occupied in the hotel which made the whole experience very bizarre. The hotel is beautiful and has a great view over the bay. We were met by Alex at reception who was amazing. We loved the indoor pool and gym. Breakfast was good with western options. The first day was a buffet which was silly for so few people so they moved it to table service. We ate dinner in both the Bamboo and Olive restaurants. The male manager of the Bamboo restaurant was FANTASTIC with my dietary requirements. The food was good and reasonably priced for a hotel. The staff elsewhere were present however not always sure of their roles and items on menus/how to make them. Overall we had a lovely but surreal time in this hotel.
