In albergo abbiamo cenato bene con un servizio impeccabile prezzi nella media. Se avete bisogno di consigli per ristoranti o guide potete chiedere al personale che sono molto disponibili gentili e vi daranno anche consigli sulle località da visitare. Noi ci siamo trovati molto bene. Cè da segnalare che c'è una stanza con due pc con uso gratuito di internet. E' da visitare anche la stanza riunioni dell'albergo molto affascinante data la storicità del palazzo. Amsterdam è una magnifica città e anche i suoi dintorni merita di essere visitata in primavera.

Due to the hotel being housed in a historic building which has been expanded over the years and converted from being an original shipping house to offices and now a hotel, the passages may appear as if it is a labyrinth. Wonderful old hotel in Amsterdam ”
The location is wonderful as it is walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Very close to the central station and cruise port. Rooms were very large and well appointed including a complimentary mini bar.

We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the location and the view from the window. The hotel staff was service and professional. The pool and sauna were a nice addition. The breakfast was nice but not varied enough relative to a 5 star hotel. Recommended for anyone interested in a luxurious and central hotel.

Overpriced!!”
The hotel is very well located .. near station and the old town. It’s a historical building but the atmosphere was cold. From the reception, the room until the breakfast room and it’s service. My bed sheet was disrupted and we got an old Pyjamas. The cook didn’t greet us and the breakfast was optically unappetizing. The room is dark and the atmosphere was again cold. Really pity for the price we paid ..

The hotel takes money from my visa for services that i didnt do.”
After we checked out of the hotel. The hotel took money from my visa for services that we didnt do. We asked them to return the money but they are not responding. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone because of the way they treated us at the end of our stay.

Common areas and rooms are dated. No room service menu so guessing no room service. Building is old so rooms are large, but feel rundown. Toilets not luxurious.

Because the hotel is housed in a historic building it may be the case that some of the custom-chosen furniture and finishes appeared to be dated and it is worth noting that this has been purposefully done to create am impression of the 1910 - 1930's Amsterdam School of Architecture atmosphere. The room was very draughty and cold and very noisy. Room 35 you could hear the traffic all night and passers by !!
