Service hit and miss”

We booked this hotel after 2 weeks in Italy, hoping for a few chill days with our kids. Sadly, whenever we encountered sub-par amenities (cold indoor pool not being heated adequately, fridge not working), we were treated dismissively and rudely, though eventually concerns were recognized. We were disappointed the outdoor patio areas were off limits to use for relaxing, even though we understand why outdoor pools are closed. We came in a beautiful warm March and were hoping more areas were open to lounge. Don’t expect much open in off season.

Had a great time at the Hilton! One of the front desk clerks Giuseppe helped us out a lot during our stay and accommodated all our needs! All the staff was lovely and the location was very close to the city center!

Eccezionale”

Lovely modern hotel ,amazing views over the bay and versuvius, 10 mins walk into town. Only downside is that food is really expensive (17euro for a club sandwich). Also if you sit in the restaurant by the pool and a waiter serves you they charge a service charge to bring you food and drink , if you order two drinks they charge you twice. I think that's ok if you are getting served at the pool but not sat in the restaurant.

Literally our most expensive booking on our honeymoon. We left two days early to go to Florence which we didn't plan because this was just horrendous. Maybe this hotel was nice in 1993, in need of a serious face lift.

there was a staff at the counter called paolo he was so friendly he helped us for the check-in guided us to our room and recommended restaurant to us for dinner and even lunch the next day thanks paolo!

Good stay at Hilton Sorrento Palace”

We had a really lovely stay at the hotel. The facilities were good and we really enjoyed breakfast, although it was very busy. We didn't dine at the hotel or have a drink in the bar, so can't comment on those. Signs to 2nd floor restaurant for breakfast need to be clearer, as it is in a different wing from the guestrooms and we had difficulty finding it. Slightly sarky barman when we asked for ice too but he did provide it. All in all a great stay!

Comfortable and great location”

We had a lovely time at the Hilton. We had to change rooms as our first room did not have a outdoor table and chairs. We had to ask 3 times, but eventually we got a replacement room which was larger and on the pool side, so we had a nice view and very high ceilings. The Hilton is very well located for sight-seeing and visiting the town.

everything was good at the hotel. the only problem for us was that it was at least a20 minute walk to the centre which was just a little too far to be convenient

A nice hotel over looking the bay. a few of the staff were helpful and friendly. Clean room at a reasonable price. We would stay there again.

Good family Hotel”

Great hotel but very family orinated therefore no peace and quiet by the poolside peak season as each pool leads into another was like a water park with excited children. Prefect for families not ideal for couples looking for a quiet spa like retreat.

overpriced for the services offered”

Found it pretty overpriced for the quality of the room. Didn't feel on par with many of the Hilton's I've stayed in during the past. The hotel does have a great RatPack era retro style (well at least the restaurant where they serve the breakfast does)

we arrived at sorrento by ship, so we needed to go to the hotel from the port. but the way to the hotel was all huge uphill, and we needed to take taxi with no other choice, but the cost of taxi there was crazy. just 6, 7 minutes ride cost euros. so the hotel itself was enough good, but considering the location, there must been some other better hotels especially for tourists like us who want to travel around capri and amalfi and tend to have little time to spend at the hotel.

my boyfriend and i stayed at this hotel during a recent holiday in italy. hotel staff could not have been more helpful,especially maurizio at reception,in helping us plan the next leg of our trip or indeed any query we had during our stay. decor at hotel beautiful and pool area was fabulous. perfect location to stroll into centre of town in the evenings.
