Fantastic Hospitality as Always”

We call this hotel our home away from home. We love their location in District 1. The staff including the owner are absolutely wonderful caring individuals always willing to help and provide travel advice or assistance. You will get a really wonderful breakfast here and great coffee too. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

The best part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and made it very easy to arrange tours and onward travel. Location has in the heart of the action, but, inside was a haven. Very clean.

Get a lower floor room.”

Everything was great in the hotel except we got put on the top floor. This means up 7 flights of steps in the heat and humidity. They have no rooms on the 1st or 2nd floor. Otherwise if you are looking to be near the nightlife, this is the perfect location.

we are very satisfied with our room ,clean and well attended everyday. All are nice except in booking for transport from hotel to airport. There is no proper coordination between hotel staff and private transpo bec we were ask to pay when advance payment was already made at the hotel. Gave us hassle in going to the airport

Great location. Very limited services but the friendly and professional staff more than makes up for that. The low room fee also comes with a decent breakfast which is a bonus.

Worth the price”

Location is good. Near resto and walking distance to Ben Than market and Saigon Square. Clean and descent. The staff are polite and very attentive. They made my booking in Mekong tour via KIM Travel which is cheap compare to other. And also, they book me for bus going to cambodia. Breakfast is good. Cons: No elevator. You need to exercise walking the stairs. But, they have a lifting machine incase you have luggage. In recommed this hotel. You get what you pay.

Overall Good Budget Friendly hotel on most happening Street of HO CHI MINH. Staff and owner are friendly and helpful. Only negative thing about the property is no lifts they Give you room on the 3rd or 4th floor. Which is quite hard. During my stay I faced this situation very hard because they give me room on 4th floor and actually it’s 5th floor as on first floor there is a restaurant and they count first floor from 2nd floor 🤪. So keep in mind this then Book this hotel.

The Hong Han Hotel is a little diamond”

If you are looking for budget price accommodation which is spotless; well managed with attentive caring staff; right in the centre of the action in hcmc, then look no further. I stayed here for 3 nights with my two sons aged 18 and 20 for the first leg of our Vietnam adventure. Admittedly, the Hong Han is not for everyone. The rooms are located on the five floors above the lobby and there is no lift, therefore strong legs and lungs are required, especially if your room is on the upper floors. The rooms to the front of the hotel are fronting onto one of the busiest and loudest tourist traps in the city which doesn't quieten down until 4am so those with a disposition to noise should probably look elsewhere. The rooms are spacious and well appointed for guesthouse standards. The cooked complimentary breakfast served on the first floor balcony is simple but delicious. The staff will help you any way they can. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely make a return visit.

Very friendly staff, they even let us borrow their electric kettle. It is a central location but on a busy road. That didn't keep is awake though .

Good hotel in busy saigon”

The hotel is very nice. Even though it's in a busy area, I didn't hear the busy city ar night. As soon as you're out of the door, you are in a busy part of town. Just a (15 minute) walk away from the Benh Than markets, the war museum, sky deck etc. Lot's of bars and restaurants just around the corner. Breakfast is quite a lot you can choose different options. Staff is friendly and rooms are big enough and clean. Overall a good place to explore Saign for a few day's.

Always good at Hong Han”

We have stayed here numerous times over the last five years and it's always been good. Very nice staff. Location is great being at the quieter end of Bui Vien. A very good choice.

Great Place in the Heart of the Backpackers Area”

Pros: - the staff work super hard and are very kind! - location - this can be a pro or con depending on how you look at it...it's in the middle of the action and the bars, restaurants etc., and a pretty good walking distance to many of the major city attractions - close to the first/last stop of the 109 Yellow bus to/from the airport (at 23/9 Park) - the rooms are not new or fancy, but they were comfortable and kept well (ours was quite large) - they close the gate at 11pm, but you can ring the bell at any time and they will open it for you Cons: - location (can be a pro or con)...it can get quite loud at night when everyone's out, but we were fine with it. We had a room on the 4th floor at the front of the building and we got over the noise by the second night (or join the fun or use ear plugs:P). - there is no elevator, so expect to get in a good exercise before relaxing in aircon if you're on an upper floor
