Best Location!”

Close to the bus stop, subway, and major tourist attractions. Everything we needed was just outside the hotel. We literally just walked to restaurants, museums, palaces, and malls. The hotel has a 7-Eleven convenient store on the lobby floor. The bus stop and subway are literally right outside the hotel. It’s clean, quiet, and the staff are kind and friendly. My husband had a cold and so I asked them where I can get cold medicine and they helped me with where to find a pharmacy. The bus stop is literally in front of the pharmacy which is right outside the hotel. It’s literally like the next building over. They have cafes like MegaCoffee and Paris Baguette across the street. Starbucks, Shake Shack, Baskin Robins are 3 min walk. They’re all in the same plaza. They have beautiful parks and there’s this beautiful stream called Cheonggyecheon that runs through Jongno too and families bring their kids there. I saw couples kissing there too. I was shocked because they were Koreans and I though PDA was taboo. I saw individuals that just go alone and just sit and chill. It’s so beautiful when the sun is setting. It’s literally right around the block. We were there in the beginning of June and the weather was beautiful because it was summer but still nice and cool outside. We got coffee and sat there and watched a heron walk across the stream. There’s fish in there too. Avenue of Youth is like this block of night life too and it’s around the same area. Also, a great bookstore is nearby too. If you’re into the night life, there’s a street called Euljiro and it’s wild. At night, they close the roads and it becomes a dining street. They just pop plastic tables and chairs throughout the street and the food is cheap. It’s meant for young adults. They all drink there. It’s not a tourist place. They’re all locals getting off work to have dinner there and talk about the crappy bosses they have. Nearby is Insadong and Ikseondong, which are beautiful neighborhoods of cafes and arts an

Excellent Location and Facilities”

The hotel is located near Jonggak Station of Subway Line 1, and Jongno 2-ga bus stop of the airport bus 6002 (10,000 won; 4 seats in a row). Airport bus 6005 (15,000 won; 3 seats in a row) starts in front of the hotel. I also notice this time that Bus #704 is just in front of the hotel; #704 takes you to Bukhansan National Park Fortress entrance. Going there takes 50 minutes, and returning 60 minutes. Every time I am in Seoul, I always try to go hiking in Bukhansan. The room is bright and clean; has two bottles of water, two complimentary 3-in-1 coffee bags, and a safe. There are only two Korean-type outlets on the desk. The fitness center has 3 treadmills, 2 cycling stations, a multifunction weight station, etc. The hotel is two blocks from Insadong, which has many nice restaurants. There are also many eateries towards Jonggak. Everyday, except Monday, at 11 am is the “Bosingak Bell-Ringing Ceremony”. Visitors can participate ringing the bell.

Excellent Location”

This is my second stay with Hotel Aventree, and it is my go-to hotel in Seoul now—excellent location, nice room, a fitness center, a safe, and easy access to Bukhansan National Park, Gwanghwamun, Sejong Center and Inwon Mountain where you can walk along the old city wall. The hotel is located near Jonggak Station of Subway Line 1, and Jongno 2-ga bus stop of the airport bus 6002 (10,000 won; 4 seats in a row). Airport bus 6005 (15,000 won; 3 seats in a row) starts in front of the hotel. I also notice this time that Bus #704 is just in front of the hotel; #704 takes you to Bukhansan National Park Fortress entrance. Going there takes 50 minutes, and returning 60 minutes. The room is bright and clean. The room has 2 bottles of water and 2 complimentary coffee packs. The hotel is 2 blocks from Insadong, which has many nice restaurants. Good hotel in an excellent location”

The service I experienced here was very good. This is an actual Western-style hotel, not one of those love motels that are so prevalent in Korea. The staff were very helpful and speak excellent English. They were kind enough to give me a free upgrade to a bigger room as the small room I initially booked was already taken. The toilet seat was heated and was one of those electronic bidet-style toilets. The location is really good as it has easy access to Myeongdong, Seoul Station, and Hyehwa. Only downside was that the internet was very slow and the connection kept constantly dropping, which was very frustrating. Unfortunately the hotel has decided to go with LG U+ as their internet service provider, who are easily the worst ISP in Korea. I would encourage the hotel to change ISP or upgrade their current plan to a faster line. Other than that, no complaints.

Highly recommend”

I just spent four nights at the Aventree and very much enjoyed my stay. Very nice modern hotel, spotlessly clean, excellent location, staff were wonderful and a very good breakfast (although you need to be seated by 9am and breakfast finishes at 9.30am - a little early I think). The internet was somewhat unreliable when I arrived but that was soon fixed. Consider buying a T-money card from the 7-eleven on the ground floor for the metro/subway - it's easy to use and a cheap way to explore the city. Jonggak station (Line 1) 8 minute walk from hotel. Also, the airport bus departs from directly outside the hotel about every hour (15,000 won & 90 minutes).

Comfy and efficient!”

I highly recommend this hotel to travellers who do not intend to spend tons of money on a place to stay especially travellers like us who are often out and about in the city. It is not far from the gwanghemun palace (10 minutes away by foot) and the bus stops right in front of the hotel which is very convenient for us since we do not know the area so well. I am surprised they have several amenities that added to our convenience i.e. laundry and gym and a 7-eleven that is connected to the hotel, can't get any more convenient than that. The staff was friendly, they have almost everything you ask for i.e. international adapter and they are very patient with the questions we posed (since english is not their first language). We enjoyed our stay and for the amount we spent, we couldn't ask for more!

The most convenient at reasonable price”

Located in Seoul downtown, walking distance to major attractions (i.e myeongdong street, cultural village and palaces), near to subway station. Stayed for 5 days, the housekeeper came everyday to change our beddings and towels. Easy access to 7eleven via lobby. A coin-laundry is also available at the ground floor with 5000won for 1 cycle of wash&dry. We liked it very much that the airport transfer bus is available just in front of the hotel building.

Location near metro station”

1. Location near Jonggak station. Turn left from hotel, 5 mins walk and you will see Exit 3-1 of Jonggak station. Only take 2 stops to Seoul station where you can take the KTX train. 2. Hotel allowed us to keep our 2 big luggage with them as we were travelling to Gangneung for 2 days by KTX train. 3. The room is nice and comfortable. However, the curtain has dirty stains and looks old. The hotel should change it as everything in the room is so nice.

Pro: Excellent location! airport limousine bus #6005 stop right infront of the hotel door and Jongak subway station is just 3 mins walking from the hotel. Insadong street is just behind this hotel and some tourist attraction places are just about walking distance from the hotel. I stayed there because it was very close to Seoul Marathon starting line at Gwanghwangmun Square.. just about 7minute run walking distance to the event site. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room was modern with sufficient facilities. Con: I cannot turn the aircond unit to cold mode.. keep switching to heater mode and made the room quite hot. Overall other than aircond problem.. this hotel is highly recommended.

Best location to explore Seoul”

Location is the best part of booking this hotel. Airport bus 6005's last stop is there.. Insadong cultural market is literally at the back of the hotel, walking distance to gyeongbokgung palace, myeongdong market...my kid got tired from walking so we rode the taxi to most destination/klook meetup spots around seoul and our bill didnt went up from the flagdown rate of 3800won.. So we still saved money. There's 7eleven, a cafe at the lobby.. Korean traditional resto beside it.. Its really in the middle of everything!

Nice clean and cozy hotel”

Very comfortable for solo traveler because it's not so big, but feels cozy and comfortable. There are many cafes and restaurants around there including less than a dollar coffee shop. I am amazed at modernized bath room with bide toilet and shower system. 5 stars!!

Great Location with cleanliness”

Location, Room size, breakfast, and staff friendliness are all good. My only criticism would be same menu for breakfast everyday (Although breakfast is delicious), we stayed there for 6 days, so we got a bit bored of it. Overall, satisfied with the stay.

The staffs were super friendly and very helpful. They even helped to make restaurant reservation for us due to language barrier. They were always there to assist. We had a lovely time here. The location is near to bus stop, train station, convenience store and few tourist attractions including the palace.

Nice Hotel”

Pros - Location (a few minutes of straight walk from exit 3-1 of Jonggak station) - Adjustable room temperature (not sure if it has to be requested for; I requested for it as past experience from other hotel stays were bad and the room can get too warm and stuffy in this weather) - Warm shower temperature that doesn't fluctuate in this cold weather - Decent variety of breakfast food - Fast Wifi - Near many tourist areas - Decent selection of TV programmes Cons - Breakfast food doesn't really change, although there's a good variety
