I loved the staff. There was room service and it was cheap and good food. My only complaint was the noise. I could here everyone in the hotel. Hard to sleep that way.

great location! just a few minutes away from the main plaza and from hostel amigo for most tours. otherwise ok. you can see that it is a few years old. we felt safe using the safe. the cleaning lady came into the room one day although room had been done. she knocked once and came in. she didn't specify what she wanted and walked out again. we had to reactivate our room key every time we got back to the hotel in the afternoon / evening! not very nice! didn't try breakfast but had lunch in the restaurant. spaghetti Bolognese was not really nice. chicken soup was good though. for a few days it is totally ok! they don't speak much english. a few words of spanish are helpful in Mexico

Hotel Castropol is in an ideal location, close to Zocalo and two main metro stations (Pino Suarez and Zocalo). The building is clean and modern. I doubt there is much accomodation available in Mexico City that offers better value for money!

No mini fridge, constant error with the card key”
The room was clean, the location was excellent(you can have access to the metro, Zocalo square, the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral) and staff were kind and friendly. However, the room didn't have a mini fridge, so I couldn't keep my water and drinks cool in hot weather in Mexico. Also, every night when I came back to my room after my schedule, I had to find that the card key doesn't work and go back to the front desk to renew the card key, EVERY NIGHT! Hotels in Mexico city are not very expensive in general, so I think you can find better options other than this place in a moderate price range.

The hotel is well located, it is clean and all new! The only thing I would improve is their customer service, they behaved kinda rude.... Aside from that, everything is really good.

Ideal para pasar por df rapido. Todo correcto. Un poco caliente la habitacion tuve que abrir las ventanas ya que afuera estaba fresco, no entendi si habia calefaccion central. Lo demas bien.

こじんまりとした清潔なホテル”
空港からも近く、地下鉄の駅のそばにあり、歩いカテドラルやソカロにある見どころにいけるので便利です。ホテルはこじんまりとしていますが清潔で値段を考えると良いかも、朝食（レストラン）が朝８時にオープンなので少し遅いかな、地下鉄も７時からなので。セントロにあるカフェやレストランにも歩いて行けるので、ロケーションはいいです。又泊まってもいいかと思います、安い部屋だったのでクーラーがなくて 暑いかなと思っていましたが夜は結構涼しかったです、４月だからかな？
