Personale gentile, stanza strettissima (fortuna che era una superior) Bagno microscopico, bene la connessione a internet, discreta colazione... Ottima posizione per lo shopping e per scoprire la città. Albergo piuttosto vecchio e si vede. Nel complesso un buon 3 stelle.

Claridge Hotel-Buenos Aires june 13-june16 2019 I have just stay this 3 nights in this hotel First the positive points: after reserving on line I requested that the room be ready at 12 noon it was just as I requested, a very wellcomme reception after a very long flight (24 hs+) well done! Reception desk crew very helpful with explinnations and directions and always with a smile and patience The hotel is willing to change foreign to local money from their cash at an acceptable rate, a very good plus if the banks and change offices are closed The housekeeping and dining room staff are top rated also the breakfast staff made their utmost to keep trays full for the full time of the morning meal, something not always done in others hotels Breakfast is better than other establishments of the same category. This establishment is located in a very quiet street in spite of its location in the main city centre, no heavy transit in this street .

More like a 4 star hotel than 5. Great value though. Good location, handy to everything. Good buffet breakfast in nice surrounds. Don't miss the restaurant "La Posada de 1820" a couple of doors away. Best steak meal we had.

Shitty wifi and paper walls”
The wifi service in this hotel is the worst. Impossible to even read a news paper on my phone, so ended up spending 4GB on my personal phone roaming. Paper thin walls and floors. Can hear everything from all your neighbours plus hallway

The internet connectivity was so poor and woefully erratic / frustrating for such class of hotel. Certainly, that removes a lot from the overall satisfaction derivable from every other thing.

It's not safe here”
Travellers should be aware that although this is a stylish old hotel it has no fire alarms installed and no sprinklers. In addition, with not one English language channel on the TV, it can hardly be called an international hotel.

Mau atendimento, má experiência e instalações envelhecidas”
À chegada foi-nos atribuído um quarto ocupado pelo que o primeiro impacto foi um senhor a gritar connosco porque entrámos no quarto dele. Desculparam-se com uma avaria no sistema. Depois foi-nos atribuído outro quarto que tinha uma porta de continuidade para o quarto seguinte. De noite avisámos a recepção que o cliente ao lado estava a fazer imenso barulho e com um serviço de prostituição (ouvia-se literalmente tudo) e a solução que nos deram às 3h da manhã foi mudar-nos de quarto a nós! Não deram informações sobre pontos turísticos, nem ofereceram qualquer tipo de simpatia mesmo depois dos distúrbios que passámos. As casas de banho são velhas. Só posso dizer bem do pequeno-almoço.

Not a five star hotel ”
Staff are very rude, or maybe don't want to talk to customer because they are not Spanish speaker. Wifi was very bad, slow shutdown ofen that you can not finished your task. Bsf same things everyday. Dinner at the restaurant is not greeting, Staff walk by customer serval time which out the smile or offer help at all.

Good location, but…”
The hotel has a great entryway, excellent and friendly staff but the rooms are old and have many stains/not clean. The bed linens were acceptable, however, the rest of the surfaces and the bathroom were not clean. The overall location in terms of Buenos Aires is good and easy to traverse from.

Was my first time experiencing a “5 star hotel” but with the room I received, i’m not sure how it is 5 stars. The staff are really nice but I can’t say anything else about the place. I wouldn’t even pay the money I did let alone 1.1K pounds.

Decent value for money ”
Great location. Decent breakfast but nothing to rave about. Hotel looks tired. Bathrooms so tight that difficult to even turn around. Air conditioner in our room was barely working. Started to leak on the last day. Staff is helpful. But having said all that it is a good value for the money.

2 Star sold as 5 star”
This was advertised on the website as being a 5 star property, when in fact it was no more than a poor 2 star. The place is old, run down and very noisy. The walls are as thin as paper and I could literally hear my neighbours go to the toilet. It was an awful experience and disappointing for my first time in Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires have such lovely hotels, take this rubbish off the list.
