Clean, comfortable and functional”
Great location, opposite Namdaemun market, and within 7 minutes walk to Myeongdong. Commuting by metro and bus is not a problem at all. Bus is preferred as there are a few bus stops nearby and buses go to the major places of attraction (Google Maps helps as well). There are some really good restaurants right outside the hotel. There is a Korean BBQ place at the junction that is really good. The room itself is small, but clean, comfortable and functional. Because it's a small room, there are some tweaks to the room design/furnishing, e.g. the sink is outside the bathroom, the WC is a separate cubicle, the ironing board is a mini-sized one, there is no study table but only two (comfortable) chairs and a coffee table. However, everything that we need is there, except for shower cap (hotel does not provide). Price is very reasonable and competitive. Check-in/out at Level 11 which is not a problem. Hotel does not provide complimentary late check out - it is chargeable by the hour.

Having to read so many great reviews about Hotel Gracery. My family and I decided to give this a try and did not regret any second of it. It is located right in the popular food lanes in Cityhall and it's a walking distance (10mins) to Myeongdong, if you want to- 20 to 30mins walk to Gyeongbokgung! It's one stop away from Seoul station and a good junction for train travelers. It comes with full amenities, bathtub and shower place, toilet is separately. Small lounging area and bedroom :) For a basic price and bedroom type, I could not ask for more. The staffs were really helpful during my stay too, Highly highly recommended.

+ short walking distance to City Hall subway station, restaurants, shopping, underground shopping, night markets. Near airport bus stop but recommend Seoul Private Driver if you come in group. + room is very clean, roomy for us, has quiet AC, humidifier fast wifi, bidet. +beautiful staffs always smile and helpful. They stored our luggages few hours after we checked out. - the pillows have beads inside and we are not use to them. Recommend Pho Ha 's bun cha gio and rice dishes (near Ewha Women University) Change $ in Seoul and get better rate than at the airport

I felt especially compelled to leave a review after reading some of the other reviews prior to my booking (: Perhaps the hotel has upgraded since, but the staff were extremely friendly and spoke English very well. The room was also exceptionally clean and spacious with housekeeping done daily! The location was very convenient, close to two stations and central to Myeongdong- you just have to be careful when first finding the entrance as it is clearly labeled, but many may think that it is the first one they see. The location of this hotel is great. Close to multiple stations and has different bus routes to take you where you need to go. Rooms were super clean since it was newly built. The size is perfect for 2 people and still had enough room to have our luggages open on the floor. The only thing with the room is that the temperature can not be controlled. It is central heating so sometimes it felt like it was too hot, but they do provide you with a portable fan to move around the room.

Great location within easy walking distance to City Hall, Myeongdong and many other places. Lotsa eateries in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel staff are very courteous and helpful, in particular, Hyounwoo Kim, who’d helped to get dinner as on-arrival PCR result was not out yet. Hotel is also very clean. Will stay here again as it’s not in a busy area but has all the conveniences and more.

New hotel at good location”
The hotel is well situated right next to gourmet alley meaning rows of restaurants. Some opens late into the night. We didn’t have any problem finding good food. Around the corner and across the street is Namdaemun market where we could get fresh fruit at almost half the price of fruit selling at Myeongdong. The location is great and not touristy. We could get to a subway station within 5-min walk. It also seems that the hotel has laundry facilities onsite. Although we didnt use it this time, we know it would come in handy for those who choose to stay here after arriving in seoul from another city. We will definitely stay here again.

Location is ok, subway is near . Hotel decor is very nice and modern, pyjamas provided, hair dryer all toiletries. Toilet bowl is auto washing system type. Very good service staff. There is a laundry room at front desk. Which was a great help for us.

Fantastic hotel”
Fantastic location. 3-4 minutes from City Hall line 2 station - no elevator/escalator from that exit 8, so be careful with heavy luggage. Starbucks, 24hr convenience store downstairs. Lots of little food and a very nice coffee shop all within a 2 minute walking radius of the hotel. 7 minutes to Myeongdong night market/shopping streets. Room was fine, could use a few more power outlets, but they provide usb charging outlets for your electronics. Don’t be fooled by the housekeeping signs, they come in to change your towels and tidy up the room daily. Front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Several of them had sufficient English for proper communication.

Really japanese style hotel with good bathup and shower room. Nice and clean also 28aug just had their 1st year so still new. Easy to find food around and 10 mi walk to dangdemun market which selling clothes etc in the afternoon and so much food at night. A good place to stay

Compact but cozy”
-The location is good, surrounded with lots of food and local restaurants. convenient stores nearby and CU just on the ground of the hotel - walk within 5 mins to City Hall station ( but there are no escalators at this station) - I prefer using bus, it’s very convenient coz there are a bus stop right in front of hotel - If coming from Seoul Station with luggages, better take taxi from there . Not recommend taking a subway coz there are no escalators nor elevators - The hotel staffs are very helpful , they help us booked a big taxi to Seoul Station when we checked out

The location is good, near to 시청역, also many restaurants nearby including kyochon chicken. Easy to travel to different attractions. Environment is clean, view is also nice. It's my second time to stay in this hotel so I definitely recommend it to everyone But please visit Korea after COVID-19 condition is improved

Superb Experience”
The staff are friendly, the hotel is very clean and is located near the City Hall subway station. Bathroom and toilet are separated. Most important, it is near the airport bus station so it is very convenience. Would love to stay there again when I am in Seoul.

Pros: - modern hotel with complete facilities, this hotel should be 5* - they prepare also small cute gift (toiletries with small sandal) for our child which make him so happy., so thoughtful! - sparkling clean (the staff also clean our room everyday, change our towels, our sandal and give us new mineral water) - TV program is good also for international guest - toilet and bath are separated - modern toilet (like in Japan) which plus point - modern shower and big bath tub - big bed also really clean, make us comfy for sleeping - convenience store exactly next to the hotel - near to bus halte and subway station Cons: - coin laundry is more expensive than other places (2 x 4000 won for washing and drying). Anyway we give 9 (scale 0-10) for this hotel. Def, we will be back to this hotel when visiting Korea again.

Value hotel in Seoul”
I have stayed in many hotels in Seoul, but I found the differences at Hotel Gracery Seoul at such a price, especially newly built. The room is spacious and provides bathtub and a chair for showering, especially good for older people. Very good strategic location with many restaurants and cafes surrounded and walking distance to train station (7mins to city hall) and (10mins to seoul station).

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are really friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel really welcome and sincerely wish to help. This can be rare at hotels that are inexpensive. the view from my room was perfect and something that I really enjoyed. I love the fact that everything is well thought out. from the bathroom location to the bath and toilet being in separate rooms, to the super wide sink, and the air purifier- everything has a function. The only complaint I would have is the bed is not comfortable. Small price to pay for having a bathtub, view, amazing staff and a friendly price. Definitely would recommend!!!

Overall a Good Hotel”
I stayed in this hotel for 10 days and I must say I am quite satisfied. Locationwise the Hotel is very good. Yes the rooms might be smaller than American Hotels but as this is Asia it is pretty okay. For a solo traveler I highly recommend this place as it has everything you need in the hotel, they clean the room daily and they re stock anything from the room that is missing daily. Myeongdong is 15 minutes walk, seoul station is easy to get if you're planning to travel in the KTX, and there is a convinience store in the first floor of the hotel. I would definetly stay again in this hotel for my next visit to Korea.

The hotel is located not so far from Namdaemun and MyeongDong. Theres convenience store right next to hotel entrance. And a street full of local cuisines selection~ The hotel room interior is very nice, and the price is very valuable. The bed is so comfy and the shower area is equipped. I would definitely come back to stay next time!
