Good value for money ”
The hotel was easy to find, the staff absolutely lovely, they would do everything to please you. We had a free bottle of water when checked in. The room is not luxury but clean overall. The bathroom clean and had all toiletries and towels needed. Good selection at breakfast. Check in and out very easy. Not the quietest do to tram lines outside the hotel but had a good sleep. I would recommend and stay here in future.

Dated but wonderful ”
While the hotel does feel a little behind the times, the rooms are absolutely massive, and the location can't be beat. Contrary to some other reviews I saw, there was absolutely no issues with cleanliness. The staff are super helpful and speak English, and the breakfast buffet, though not to the same standard as a resort, is very artisanal, with a wide variety of pastries and other foods to choose from. All in all, if I visit Milan in the future I'll be sure to stay again.

It is very convenience because near to MRT and train station. The owner of this hotel is a Chinese. He can speak Chinese and translate for us. Very friendly staff.

Nice hotel with nice location”
The boss of this hotel is from China. So he can speak Chinese instead of English. Moreover, the hotel is very near to the train station and MRT within 5 minutes walking distance. There is a 1 euro souvenir shop nearby and lots of nice Italian café and restaurant.

a staff with inconsistent customer orientation ”
We chose this budget hotel because our stay coincided with a trade fair (shoe show) and prices in the rest of the city were outrageous in our point of view. The Hotel Gonzaga is only 2 or 3 blocks from the central train station and offers convenient access to various modes of transportation. The property is on the third floor of an office building (small elevator), and rooms require some maintenance (for example, the safe did not function and the shower accumulated water to the degree that I inadvertently caused a small "flood" the first time that I used it). The room itself was spacious and otherwise very adequate (sufficient storage areas, comfortable bed, small refrigerator with complimentary bottled water, TV with acceptable array of channels). Both staff members with whom we interacted were very effective. In particular, we appreciated that the gentleman who checked us in managed to give us our room even though we arrived about a couple hours before the assigned time. However, his individual manner was very curt and we had mixed first impressions that tended toward the negative and only improved after we had completed our stay. We expected more politeness and friendliness from the receptionist who otherwise completed his tasks very well - and we did leave with some disappointment.

The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of the building. The building is close to the central train station and easy to find. It also means good transport connection. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are facing a busy street, so it can be a bit noisy at times.

The location is good which is close to milano centrale with a 5 minutes walking distance. The room is big but the light is not bright enough. The service of the staff is fair. There is a restaurant with great service and resonable price nearby.

The hotel is very near the Centrale station which made getting transportation to other parts of town very easy. The staff member who checked us in was hardly friendly and seemed bothered by questions about the hotel. The room was quite large and comfortable. The Internet worked well. The big negative is that if your room faces to Main Street you are going to hear street noise all night. The trams are especially noisy and you should request a room in the back of the building if noise keeps you from sleeping.

Superbly located hotel and close to major public transport. Relatively cheap room price but it is very noisy as it is just beside main busy road (via Vitruvio). Check-in process is relatively fast and easy.

Location wise no complain with relatively cheaper price compared to others. However it is noisy from passing trams and vehicles as it is just at the main busy road (via Vitruvio). Also encountered a rude staff on morning during check-out that really spoils the hotel stay. Will choose other hotel for future visit to Milan.

Good budget option for unexhausted travels”
Generally “Gonzaga” can pretend to be 3-star transfer hotel near train station, cleanness of the room is normal. But if you want to sleep even few hours, take another hotel among plenty offers on neighbouring calmer streets. Windows are nothing of the kind “Sound Proof”. Also room facilities were announced by hotel, but didn’t exist: Air-conditioning, Tea Service. Room safe code was known only (!:) staff, which are kind and friendly honestly.

I give 2 star instead of 3 for this Hotel”
I will not recomend people to chose this Hotel. The receptionnist who work the night May 9 to early morning May 10 was not honnest. I ask him to order 1 cap to Linate Airport. They send me a taxi without meter and we have to pay 50Eur for about 7,8km. My friend told me that the maximum price is 20,30 Eur.

Gonzaga Hotel milan”
We chose this hotel because it was conveniently located near the Milan train station. About 5 mins walk. The hotel was good for the value and it was clean although I think the hotel staff may of over did it on the bleach when cleaning the washroom.
