Great Food/ wonderful room”
i love the food here, fresh and tasful, kudo to the chef. Love the facilities and room setup. some drawbacks : the walk way down to the fuctions below L floor is rather unconvinced, walking by the entrance to the beach or pool with swimwear or passing by dining tables are just not appealing and comfortable. - If the hotel decided to have no inroom dinning menu in the room and guest is required to dial a number to blind fully order something to the room -> that should be indicated somewhere clearly, i fail to find that in anywhere in the room.

Room is very clean, lots of amenities for children, children's playroom is nice and clean . The minus point is that the car parking space is crowded and too sunny. Check-in area too small. But the view is very beautiful, there is no private beach.

Great location but infrastructure can be better”
We booked at short notice and did not have chance to choose much from other 5- stars resort. The hotel looks great, Rooms are clean and tidy with the standard. Rooms with Seaview are of the great view which really valuable For those wishing to enjoy the Bay. The biggest minus point which gave us not a good experience was the shower very weak and did not have enough hot water while we came on one of the coldest days during this winter. Moreover Wi-Fi did not function and even the cell phone signal are very weak. I would highly recommend to stay in this hotel if the two minus points can be fixed which I do not think there is any big issue.

5 Star MGallery with no proper WIFI???”
This hotel was just recently built, so It’s fair to say their interior and facilities are good enough, I’ll give them that. But seriously a 5 star MGallery hotel doesnt have a proper wifi system??? Overall, it is good but definitely not worth their price. And they forgot my bag upon storing luggages for checking out!

I am sorry to hear that the wifi did not work properly during your time staying here. Definitely this is an important area that we should pay attention to. I had a conversation with my IT Manager and we are looking into how to upgrade the wifi. In regard to your bag, my colleague at Concierge did do an investigation in our Lost and Found system and unfortunately we have not had any clue for any item under your name. New hence many aspects to improve”
The hotel is newly opened so facilities are new, location is good, close to town yet feeling secluded enough. Nice pool and great view of the sea from high floor room. Nevertheless, things can improve. When I checked in, there was extra bed set up in my room which I didn’t ask for. Called the lobby, staff promised to remove it but took me few tries to call them again (no one picked up) and 30 mins later, had to grab housekeeping staff in the hallway to help. I stayed in 2 different room categories so had the chance to compare them. The higher room category actually didn’t have any wall decoration like the lower room category. Also, set up of amenities are different in each room. Seems either there’s no standard or the staff don’t follow standards/ receive proper training. F&B wise, very good breakfast. We had dinner too,food came in big portion. The waitress was clearly new, had to check for everything before answering simple questions like tabasco sauce. FO staff were helpful and willing to accommodate but again they were too busy due to high number of guests & lack of staff. And please change the clock above your lobby bar, the time is wrong! Overall, recommend travellers to book this hotel but only after they have fined tune their service and all facilities (like rooftop pool) are fully open. At the moment it’s not up to par. Classic case of owner trying to open early to make some quick cash even though the staff/ service/ facilities are not ready yet!

The materials used within the hotel are very high end and worth mentioning. The hotel rests on the rockery surrounding which is very beautiful. During the swimming time, it is kiosk surrounding the hotel. The wifi did not work for long period of time, which is not acceptable for 5 star hotel. I called front desk numerous time with no response, they are understaff. I dont think the staff work as a team.

Overcrowded public beach, excellent breakfast ”
Excellent breakfast spread. We were hoping for a quiet beach retreat. Unfortunately the only beach was a public once that was very overcrowded most times we were there and we were there Mon to Thurs. Be prepared to pay extra for kids from 6 yr old to teenagers even though we booked the most expensive room with bunk beds, we were asked to top up extra for the 2 teenagers and even breakfast for the preschooler.

We had the best time staying Hotel Perle dOrient, the location is so beautiful! They do an amazing breakfast and the rooms overlooking the ocean was so lovely to wake up to. We spent the days lounging by the pools, using the gym in the morning and finishing off with a spa treatment or one of many cocktails in the afternoon. The staff are so friendly and the building is beautiful.

You cannot do better in Cat Ba than this hotel. The views are fantastic, you can view the sunrise from your balcony. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. The location is convenient- secluded but only 20 min easy walk to town for dinner. Breakfast has excellent choice and very good quality. If you can afford it do not look any further.
