Quite an interesting hostel. its very clean , well managed with room service every day (if required) with fresh towels. Room is spacey , carpeted basic wall and ceiling decor and has a tv set. Tables in some rooms others no and depending on floor level gives poor or good shower pressure. Internet can be flaky. Outside of hotel are lots of women crawling around the street looking for customers. I am ok with this and its completely safe. metro within 5 mins and lots of cafes, bars and shops including Oxxo where you are likely to find every kind of food colorant and sweetener imaginable. 10 US a night its a bargain!

Had a room on the 4th floor with private bath, double bed, desk and chair and a flat screen tv with about 15 Mexican channels. Standard bathroom with a hot shower. Carpet in the room was a little grungy, only bad thing about the room did not like. My room faced the street, it was noisy, but keep in mind everywhere is noisy in mexico. I have spent some time in Mexico and have yet to find a peaceful and serene neighborhood. There is some working girls in the area, did not bother me. Felt safe at all hours coming and going from the hotel. Got a really good location, hildago metro station less than 5 min away its a 2 line station and the opposite way is Revolution station which is a metro and a two line metro bus station as well. About a 5 min walk to the Plaza of the Revolution all of historic centro is reachable by foot easily. Lots of cheap food around every direction, there was a pop up market on Wednesdays close to the Hotel tons of fruit and tasty food stalls.

It was amazing to get a room with a bed and a bathroom/shower for this price in historic mexico city. It is 3 blocks from the Hidalgo metro station and just a few blocks away from the Paseo de la Reforma and the Museo Belles Artes, the Zocalo, etc etc. That said it was a 4 story walk up room, the bed was old and hard, everything was very clean but the bathroom had that sewer smell coming up through the floor drain. The shower had hot water. The street noise was pretty loud all friday night. I brought earplugs so I got a good nights sleep. No AC no phone in room. All in all i decided I was too old for this stuff and spent for a room in hotel near the Zocolo for saturday night. Was it worth 8 times more? Probably only worth 6 times more. So if you are just going to sleep and want to use all your cash for sightseeing and shopping and restaurants - this is a decent place.

Je devais payer 540 pesos pour 3 nuits a l'arriver a l'hotel apres avoir payer la commission a agoda. A mon arriver a l'hotel, il mon obliger de payer 300 pesos pour la nuit,le lendemain matin il mon demander 430 pesos pour les deux nuits restantes. Chambres bien mais pas de services.
