Well maintained and newly decorated Ibis hotel. Location central and convenient. On edge of red light distinct but it wasn’t a problem for our stay Quiet comfortable room

Very new hotel with spacious room! The best feature is the bathroom shower, which is so powerful and relaxing to be in after a long day exploring Geneva! The hotel is also located 5 minutes walk from Cornavin Station, and a supermarket (Migros) another 5-6 minutes walk gets u to the bus station where most day tours operate and 2 minutes walk from there gets u to the Jet d'eau followed by the shopping district!

If you need to be in the city Centre , this is the perfect hotel for you . The breakfast is reasonable . Checkin , checkout was very fast . Train station is just 5 minutes walking distance !

Satisfactory Option with the Price”
This is kind of the most competitive price around downtown Geneva. The hotel is kind of express option but the experience is enjoyable. It is not big rooms but the facilities are enough for night stay. Staffs are professional and friendly. A bit distant from the train station but not far.

At the back of hotel is the red light area. Very noisy during night time. How ever the location is excellence. 10 minutes walk from main Geneva station.

Geneva short stay”
We chose this hotel as it was close to the lake and transport facilities. I was not aware that this hotel was in the red light district of Geneva. Walking towards the hotel at 8am was not a good sight on the first day within 100 yards to the hotel, seeing girls on street corners and in their lingerie sitting in the windows. The girls are out at 6pm again but as long as you dont pass the area at 8am-9am and 6pm-7pm then you wont see anything. I wish I was warned before I chose to stay in this hotel. Other than that, the service was good. The breakfast was good value considering the cost of food in Switzerland. Draw backs, the rooms had limited shelf space and no tea/coffee facilities. It would have been nice to have the ability to make coffee in the hotel lounge but that was not available either. The hotel was a short walk to the main train station which was great if you want to travel outside of Geneva. Geneva is a beautiful city.

Reception was typically very busy, so you definitely don't want to be in a hurry to check in as it's quite popular with a range of international travellers. That said, the location is great for Geneva - walking distance from the train station even with baggage. Otherwise, it's reliable, straightforward, clean ibis accommodation at about $A100 for a night in May.

I’m fine with street food and colorful areas, but this is literally a block full of prostitutes and leering old men in cafes. Gross. The hotel itself is very good.

Arabic food at 2 steps, lebnani, iraqi, irani! Indian too and at a decent rate! Just not for families as its a red light area just a street behind

A lot of things happening in the streets! So noisy! U cant sleep!!!! Scary place to go when you are traveling alone!
