Quality Time ”
A luxury escape was had, two ngts of pure relaxation, the bedding and especially the pillows were devine to sleep on after a day of walking the city which is a hop skip and a jump away, our room though showing its age was pristine cleaned and prepared, pat on the back for these hard working staff members, nothing is too much trouble for the excellent dining team who are always smiling and willing to take time of day with you, Ryan in particular. Breakfast menu is vast and was delicious thank you. From the checking team to the door man, I wish to thank all for the speedy check-in and warm welcome. Hope to see you all again soon. Sheila Bishop

Fabulous base for a holiday”
We loved staying here - the room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the river. Staff were helpful, the room exceptionally clean and the bed super comfortable. It was so easy to walk anywhere in the city for shopping, dining (although they have fantastic restaurants onsite too), botanical gardens (had quite a few picnics while we were there!) and generally close to everything.

Birthday bash ”
I was solo on this stay, so safety was important, I felt at ease, locality was perfect, room service swift and didn't cost the earth, only thing I was disappointed with was a light dinner on the evening of the 13th the meal itself was perfect, no complaints there but was met with a cost increase as I wasn't a tennis player, hmm excuse me.. lol had to laugh, I had picked up the incorrect menu only meant for tennis players and their entourage where the chicken salad for mere mortals is $24 for the other set it is only $15 go figure.. the more you have the less you pay..

Amazing Service”
My stay at the InterContinential was amazing. I arrived via Uber with my mum whom needs a wheelchair to get around. We had staff quickly arrive to collect our things within two minutes maybe less of our arrival. They were very friendly and very helpful, check in was smooth and staff were very friendly. Even with a request of a few extra pillows, which they delivered happily. Our stay was very pleasant and would totally recommend to others.

Great value find”
Only stayed 1 night unfortunately... great service from all the staff we encountered. Room was very spacious and clean, save a minor stain on the carpet, which we overlooked due to all the other pluses. The ONLY criticism we had is the narrow door to the bathroom. Other than that, very positive.

I think we've finally found "our" hotel for when we come to Adelaide - beautifully appointed room, very comfortable bed and prefect location! Only downside was the very small pool area, and no adult only pool space.

Rooms are old but big, clean and comfortable with everything you need. Location is outstanding with tram and front door and footbridge across the river at the back door. Would stay again.

Got a great deal and an early check in (for free) and is in the best location. Amazing staff, they where so polite and helpful, willing to go the extra mile to accommodate the guests best interests. nice size room for 2 people and had a lovely breakfast in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!

Great Location, top service”
Hotel is close to everything, the Service is fantastic and just what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Great restaurants, room was very clean with great views of the city. Only downside is that the pool is very small otherwise loved the hotel and will stay here again.

Magnificent view!”
Beautiful, clean modern room, with a superb view over Adelaide Oval and surrounding areas. Loved the staff, and had a very nice breakfast on the Sunday morning. We will return. Highly recommend this venue.

The location was exactly what we needed. The staff are absolutely amazing, they go above and beyond to help you. The actual hotel is very outdated, nothing a coat of paint wouldn’t fix.

Grand hotel in a Super convenient location .”
Everything was great except that the room was without bottles of free mineral water & basic stuff like tooth brushes, the latter of which has to be requested for before we were given . This is unlike other international hotels which provide toothbrushes everyday . We did not ask hotel for mineral water though so had to buy everyday from the convenience stores ourselves ! That said , the hotel has an amazing buffet breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed ! Would , therefore, still highly recommend Intercontinental Adelaide to anyone !

It was a fabulous stay. Staff were amazing. The 5th floor where we stayed really needs to be painted and the carpet needs cleaning. It didn't affect our stay though.
