location is a few minutes walk from tunjungan mall, but there's also free shuttle service every hour if you are lazy to walk. the room is very good size, classic style and well maintained, nice deco and layout. the dressing gown is very comfortable. the bathroom is also large enough, i could spend hours under the rain-shower. the gym is very well equipped and has very large changing room, steam room and sauna. we took the room without breakfast as we prefer to check out the local breakfast around. will definitely stay in this hotel again if the price point is within our budget.

Good hotel with fantastic location”
Security of the hotel is high and the staff were all nice and helpful. Appreciate the concierge staff for walking us out of the hotel to show us the direction to the ATM. :):) The room was huge and generally clean. Although we would much appreciate a cleaner shower head. Pillow were on the soft side too. But generally we still had a fantastic stay, and the breakfast was great!

I was staying at Surabaya after midnight arrival. Breakfast with colleagues, from 08.00 to 11.00. They were very nice to let my partner joined, even though it was a very late breakfast (or a brunch yet, already). I really appreciate them, the staff. A very impressive menu, choices of food, from western to locals, dishes to fruits. Very much enjoyed them. Not to mention the room. Although it wasn't as big as Yogyakarta's Marriot, but their standards reflect their stars. Thank you very much Marriot.

Great breakfast, super clean, super friendly staff, great pool, the only thing that’s a bummer is that the hotel doesn’t have a kids club. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay!

Delightfull short stay!”
Hotel is not the newest, but it well maintained. Because of it's age, rooms are large and well built, so no noise from neighbors or hallway. Perfect services throughout, from check in to check out. Breakfast has many options with ample staff to serve.

Even though the bed sheets are aging but the room are clean and convenient. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Breakfast are awesome, lost of varieties, although would recommend to have fully arabica coffee beans instead of mix blend this 5 stars hotel.
