Hotel nuovo, tranquillo e pulito, in zona centrale.
wifi e colazione scadenti”
The building can’t kept the voice from outside.
Parking is very limited and tight. The staff do not speak good English. It is in an excellent location. The rooms were very clean but you can get better value just up the street. Overall everything is good here
Value for money”
Small size hotel but cozy. Easy to access. Food stall and restaurant around the hotel.
I booked wrong and arrived a day late oh well my fought so paid double when only a few people were staying. Nice breakfast free coffee. I liked the box you stay in so will stay again. Has electric and wifi is very good. took a shower but no soap or shampoo in the morning which they said was there. Palace still very good next time I will take soap
Have stayed here before. Great location and value for price. Only downside is the breakfast which is included but nothing special. Room is clean and staff friendly. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else
the room is clean with aircon, tv, terrace and small but good bathroom. Good wifi. Perfect location 2 min walk from the night market. Staff try to be helpfull but their english is too poor. No lift and my room was at the 5th floor!
Nice place nice staff near everything you need”
I was here because my gf was in hospital and was convenient for my walk to the hospital being only 3 minutes. Clean rooms great aircon nice big tv close to all the street foods and a handful of bars only 1 thing is there is no lift but if your healthy then it shouldnt be a problem if you are disabled then this is not the hotel for you as even the 1st floor is upstairs. But overall i still give this place 5 stars i cannot comment on the cafe they have as i never went inside but it looks clean and the staff are all friendly.
very affordable hotel, good location”
very clean hotel, plenty of bars and restaurants near by and is walking distance to the peer markets during the day and the restaurants along the river. large tesco and asia peek are close if you have a car or bike.
Good clean budget hotel. ”
Good location, short walk to river, markets and bars. Undercover parking, clean rooms. Thai style bathroom but clean and ok. I didn't have the breakfast and it didn't look great for westerners. (You can stroll to Jingos or Brendon & Noys for a fantastic breakfast) I stayed last week and paid 600bt walk in but this visit I used Agoda and it was 480bt. No lift and no English tv but if that doesn't bother you and you want value and clean then this is good. I will return.
Luxury stay for cheap cost”
I booked this hotel because of its cheap price. When I entered the room, I was really really awed!! The best accommodation I had during my trip with the same price range. A king-sized bed just for me. The room also smells expensive. It is also located within the city center. Just a 3-min walk to Saturday Night Market along the Mekong River! I just loved my stay here! Will come back here for sure!!
Good value for money but had disappointments”
Rooms were nice. Friendly staff but limited English. Breakfast consisted of white toast, a jam-like substance, and a decent rice porridge soup. In my opinion, simply offering some kind of egg would greatly increase the satisfaction of the breakfast. Posters all over the hotel advertised a free shuttle to the border. We changed plans based on this information only to find out that it was only free for certain rooms - not ours. I hadn't expected a free shuttle, but why clearly advertise something that's not actually available for every guest? Extra bed was a padded mat on the floor. No problem for me, but others should be aware.
We asked the receptionist to hire 2 vans to take us to Phu Phrabat HIstorical Park and Tuktuk to take us to Wat Pho Chai and Sala Keoku and they helped us willingly. Though their English is not that good, they tried their best to help.
It is 3 minutes' walk to the Tha Sader Market or Mekong River. One km to the Central Bus Terminal where you can take bus to go to Vientiane. Some small restaurants and stalls selling all sorts of food (roasted, deep-fried or soup) are in the neighbourhood.
Comfortable Very Central Value for money”
We were greeted by a friendly young receptionist. Staff very helpful. Hotel is comfortable and great value for money. Rooms were clean and all staff cheerful and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby and walked only 2 MINS to the Mekong River. Besides, the famous Vietnamese Food and local foods are very delicious. We were there on Saturday and enjoyed the walking street by the river too. In the morning, we walked to the Indochina Market (very close) and had pizza (Italian Made) around there. We stayed only 2 nights before traveling to Laos. Nong Khai is a lovely little town. I will definitely stay there again.
You come here for the location. Under cover parking is available (albeit very narrow), no lift to stem luggage to the third floor and staff very busy with their smart phones. No eateries around the corner - not a problem for us as we were mobile though. Confusing television system which we did not get to work as all was in Thai language only. Paperthin built, so slamming doors and screaming kids give you an early morning start! Good for a night stop though and at USD 17 ...........
Nice hotel with (almost) nice staff.”
Hotel clean and comfortable. Staff helpful - helped me up stairs and down with my bag. Reasonable number of food outlets nearby but do take a map with you. A 10 minute ride from shopping complex but staff will organise a ride (and my tub-tuk drive made arrangements to come back and get me) all for a reasonable price.jThought they were a bit mean to charge THB300 for a late checkout (hence the almost nice above). Many hotels will give up to this length of time free and they were not busy (but then maybe they were not making a lot of money too). I was not excited by the breakfast offering. One main dish plus bread and two spreads. But still an OK place to stay.
Good location ”
Very good location, Air conditioner is really good and quite. Nice rooms, only downside is the beds are absolutely terrible very hard uncomfortable and strange mattress
staff was wonderful ”
