Everybody was extremely helpful with day-to-day needs. We stayed four nights and we never had any problems, even when the big storm hit and Quy Nhon’s power was out. Close to the beach but location requires a short cab ride to get to the center of town.

Good Location and Very Clean,”

I stayed on the 3rd floor of La Cactus in a room facing the street Pros: - immaculately clean - friendly and helpful staff. Nick speaks great English and recommended great local places to eat and things to do. He helped me rent a motorbike which I think is essential to explore the city and surrounding area - great location. when first looking at Google Maps, I thought the hotel's location Nguyen Thi Dinh might be a bit far from the action. It is not, it's arguably right in the middle of it, with tons of restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby. It's also near one of the major bus stops. Although not on the beach, you can get there with a 10-15 min walk Cons: - there is no elevator. I didn't mind walking up the stairs though - the room is pretty sparse - a bed, closet, nightstand, TV, and bathroom, and in an older building. I didn't mind as I wanted to spend most my time outside the hotel - and there are many great cafes nearby Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and felt it was good value for the price

The room is clean and smell good, the hall is alway fresh with lemon grass smell . The owner is so kind and very helpful, we asked for some stuffs and information and he is always willing to help. We had a great stay here and highly recommend to other travelers.

he said he gave us a better room, but we had to walk up to higher floor and the room had no chairs or even a table, while looking into other rooms they all had had. big grocery store short walk away. wish we had spent another night in the city.

Affordable”

The hotel is located on a main street. Loud noise from traffic is far from what can be ideal for hard sleepers. The facilities are just so so. But it matches with the price. They offer free water bottles, and were very helpful.

We really enjoyed our short stay at La Cactus Hotel. It was very clear that the owner has many years of experience in 5 star hotels. He was always very helpful answering our questions/requests (like arranging the sleeper bus to Hoi An) and also gave us some helpful information about food stalls worth checking out. The room was very clean (especially compared to most hotels in the same price range) and the pillows were very comfortable! Communication was also very easy, because they speak English fluently. The location was pretty decent, just a few hundred meters away from the beach. However, I recommend checking out Quy Nhon by scooter/motorcycle for the best experience. Most of the highlights in the city are too far away from each other to reach on foot but definitely worth checking. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Choose noise or window”

The rooms on the street are noisy from 4:30 am. The rooms that I could see on the other side of the building are dark because they have a window viewing on the corridor. This Hotel is not expensive. No elevator available. The staff at the reception speak very well English and is pleasant.
