Sleep and go hotel”

If youre looking for a place to sleep after a whole day of sightseeing and shopping, this is the perfect place. You dont need to spend much in a fancy hotel if your main itenerary is to shop and tour around the city. Maximize your time and money in your main itenerary. The place is close to Aljunied MRT and close proximity to local hawker stalls with wide variety of food to eat. Cleanliness is below expectations and it needs more cleaning and no room service. Room is wide enough to accommodate 4 huge adults and one 11 year old kid. Check in nd check out is seamless and free bottled water daily, you just have to ask from the front desk. AC needs to be colder but tolerable, TV has no remote control and only has 4 local channels. A decent coffee and bread is served every morning for breakfast. Budget wise its good but you get what you paid for, at least the internet compensates. Go for a more expensive hotels if you want a cleaner and fancier place to stay. Overall it was ok.

La Ming Hotel Accommodation”

It was a fine bright morning, and our second to the last day in Singapore . I choose this hotel for it can be easily located. It was walking distance to MRT. The staff are nice and accommodaring. The beds were so big and comfty, though the comfort room was a little scary because it embodies the old chinese style. Also I got a little problem on the electricity. I find it hard to charge my gadget since all plugs were 3 prong. On the next morning, tried to blend in with fellow traveller during breakfast. The coffee and bread plus a little chitchat with other guests are signs of a good start. I also appreciate the fact that theu allow to leave thimgs even after check out so we can still roam on certain area im Singapore before our flight. All in all it was a worth the money stay, not too fancy but with a touch of beong homey.

Good family place to stay”

The hotel was located a walking distance from Aljunied Station. There were a lot of good restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel was family friendly and staffs were accommodating and nice.

The service is exceptional! The staffs were nice, kind and approachable! It feels home when you're there. Cleanliness is excellent. Foods are kept clean. Requests were catered with smile. It's very near the mrt. Nearby restos are affordable. It's very near to a convenience store. The hotel itself is situated the highway. It's something to smile about when you are at SG. Exceptional hotel to stay! - love form 🇵🇭! Thank you so much!

Best hotel for a group or family”

This is the cheapest hotel you can find if you are going as group (5 or 6 person) with private bathroom. The hotel room is clean, spacious and they provide water bottles when check in and free breakfast from 7am to 9am (Bread,Butter,Jam, Tea or coffee) and free parking. Location also very good, 5 minute walk to Aljunied MRT station(Eastwest Line) and 12 minute walk to Mountbatten MRT Station (Circle Line), on the way you can find many affordable restaurants and hawker centers. Hotel Staff also friendly and willing to help promptly.

This is the cheapest hotel you can find if you are going as group (5 or 6 person) with private bathroom. Nice hotel with nice budget”

Its my second time stay in Lai ming Hotel, the hotel located near MRT station, its just took 5 minutes walk. There are also a lot of meals corner around the hotel and its Halal food (Indian). This hotel definitely is on of my favorite.

Ottimo”

Room was clean Staff super friendly - pick of them was Chin BEWARE only has hot water when "sun is shining" - apparently only solar heating. We had hot water 1 afternoon from a 3 day stay. Internet is very slow. "Breakfast included" - cook your own toast and put some margarine on it along with coffee. - We chose to eat out. GREAT position from MRT Station only a few minutes walk and the station is close to the city and interchange stations to other lines. The station is on the line in from the airport. OVERALL we would stay again as it represents good value for your $$$ but allow for the need to get breakfast outside.

RUNDOWN HOTEL - VERY DISAPPOINTED”

Came from a long travel Kuala Lumpur via a coach and expect at least a decent room to stay. Here are my reviews so the management can take actions and improve the hotel. PROS: 1. Hotel is near Aljunied MRT station which a big help to tourist commuters. Centrally located to Halal restaurants, and convenient stores, GRAB/ cab is accessible in the area. 2, Kudos to the Male staff at night who attends to our check-in. Make an apology for not having a lift but told us that someone will bring our luggage to the room (#40). 3. The rate is cheap for a group of 5. Breakfast is acceptable for bread, jam & coffee - you have to do it yourself. CONS: 1. The hotel is rundown and needs a job. Laiming isn't a HOTEL but a Backpackers HOSTEL. The old lady receptionist is not helpful. 2. Room is enough but Airconditioned is bad. The toilet is terrible - worn out/ smelly/ no toiletries. 3. Breakfast is acceptable and needs improvement in terms of cleanliness. 4. Need to have a lift.

Inappropriate HOTEL DESCRIPTION”

Came late night from Kuala Lumpur and expected at least a decent room to stay. Here are my reviews and hope that the hotel management will take care of everything. PROS: 1. The reception guy is helpful and even make apologies for not having a LIFT. He informed us to leave the luggage and someone will bring them to our room located on the 3rd floor. 2. Hotel is conveniently located near MRT station approx 5-8 mins walk. 3. Location is centrally located in one of Singapore's red light district (GEYLANG) lined with resto and PUB and many shopping centers. A convenient store is one block away from this hotel.

Worth for money but lack facility in the room.”

The hotel is worth for money. The room is gd with enough beds. But zero plug facility which is not suppose to be. Can't charge our handphone.. What is the use of wifi provided but handphone no battery. Totally nonsensem

Location wise i will say yes, staff yes very accomidating, attentive ion your request and oleasant . But the place or the facility it self no for me specially the cleanliness, and the room i wont go back their anymore not value for ur money..

Location is great”

Location is great as there are variants of restaurants to choose from with affordable prices. However, as for the hotel, double check the room as there are some infested by bedbugs. Overall, the hotel is okay if youre looking for a budget hotel.

Value for Money”

I would say this hotel is value for money. I gave 4 star for all fields because the room is not exactly what it look like in the photos when I booked. It is a little bit big in the images than the actual room and the beds are not good and similar. 4 different size beds in the room to make it look like a family room. The size of the room I would say as double room. Bathroom size is good compare to what I saw before. No Lift and we got room in 3rd floor. So most of the time we were outside. Dont want to climb 3 stairs all day. other than that a good hotel.

valuable, but no lift to go up and down, so if you look around the city by leg, when you come to this hotel you will got feeling so bad to go to your room if your room in the 3rd or 4th floor. overall, this place is good, the staff very nice and so helpfulness.

Had a simple night in the Lai Ming Hotel ”

This hotel is considered cheap and well located near to Aljunied MRT. The condition of this hotel is old but clean. The negative of this hotel is they do not provide kettle and 3 in 1 coffee and tea for travelers to drink at night. However, this hotel do provide simple breads with spread and coffee / tea as free breakfast.

Cheap hotel, good location”

At only around 15USD/night, the hotel was okay. Needs improvement on cleanliness and their air conditioner as it did not cool properly. Also wish they prepared rooms ahead of our arrival as they still had to check for availabilities when we arrived from the airport. Really great location though, near bus terminals, the MRT, 24 hour grocery stores and so many good places to eat! Staff is also quick to deal with requests. Problem is they placed us in a 3 person family room when we booked for 4, but it’s okay since we only used it to sleep.

The place is situated near Aljunied Station (mrt) and bus stop too. Too many restaurants (local foods) you can chOose from. However, tha hotel has no elevator with 4-floors. We had to carry all away up to the 4th floor our luggages. But, our 5days stay in the hotel was great.

For travelers looking for value for money”

(I will only state the good stuffs.) Me and my group are all first-timers in Singapore. This hotel is very accessible from the airport, just by a train and by a short walk. We got 2 rooms for me and my 5 friends. But 1 room is enough to fit us all. Rooms are spacious. Beds are huge. They also have free unlimited coffee/tea and breads for breakfast, which are good to start our morning, especially that we are on a budget. Food are insanely expensive in Singapore, better to take advantage of these free stuffs. There are restaurants and convenient stores just few walks from the hotel. You can buy your toiletries because the hotel only provides towel. Overall, our stay here is good!
