Hotel molto curato, ma senza ascensore (4 piani)”

Hotel situato in una locazione "nascosta" non distante dal centro. Consente di avere quiete rispetto al traffico frenetico, ma occorre passare per stradine anguste per raggiungere un posto dove avere un taxi.Regole severe di gestione dell'hotel: si devono ad esempio togliere le scarpe già all'ingresso dell'hotel, ciò consente maggiore pulizia ma minore dinamicità.La camera era confortevole, anche se non larghissima. Situata al quarto piano si sentiva la fatica delle scale.

Hotel molto carino, posto non lontano dal centro ma occorre fare vicoli angusti per arrivarci. In compenso c'è gran quiete. Regole molto ferree, non si può girare con le scarpe nell'hotel! manca però l'ascensore ed ha 4 piani.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the breakfast pho was delicious and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a nice quiet getaway close to the bustle of the big city.

Very beutiful hotel with extraordinary service - for example, tips and maps, tea and juices, helpful snd friendly manager and staff. Nice bathroom and beds, excellent breakfast. It is in district 3 so not quite in the center but it is easy to take a cab (Ho chi minh is not really for walking anyway)

Ma Maison Is Your Maison”

Fantastic serene place in the middle of crazy busy and bubbly Saigon. We stayed at a beautiful French-style room on the 4th floor that had a nice view. Room was equipped with everything necessary, comfy bed and aircon. Everything was squeeky clean and nice. Breakfast was wonderful (you could choose from different options-Vietnamese or English). Staff super friendly, attentive, humble and pleasant to talk to-helped us with everything we needed and more. Would recommend it to everyone staying in Saigon.

I loved Ma Maison and could have easily spent more time there. The breakfast was lovely and staff welcoming. The location was not scenic but then most of Saigon is similar.

When traveling I always seek out unique experiences. Ma Maison turned out to be a real find! It is located in district 10, about 20 mins from the airport, 15 mins from old center of Ho Chi Minh City. Instead of staying at a typical tourist hotel where most surroundings are somewhat sterile, Ma Maison is embedded in an area where locals live. But it is an oasis with calm energy and quiet nights. Step out from the hotel and you are in the middle of everyday Saigon, such a bustling and high energy city! I was there at night and day and felt 100% safe all the time. The third generation owners converted the building from a residence to a hotel and serve as the best hosts I have ever met on my travels. I feel I welcome as a part of their family and the service was impeccable! The owner was the General Manager at Rex, most famous hotel in the city, and has used his experience to create something very special. Subtle, friendly, soft energy, a haven to retreat to after an intense day in HCMC!

You are welcomed like part of the family. The room is charming and the breakfast delightful. This great house is located in a laneway which provides peace and quiet. The residents treat Ma Maison visitors with great kindness, providing directions and making friendly greetings daily.

Absolutely fantastic ”

The staff could not have been friendlier, very welcoming and kind- they went above board to help and to make us feel at home. The hotel was immaculate and in a very interesting and old building.

Great hotel in amazing Saigon”

This is an old french building in excellent condition about 15 minutes to the city. The staff is friendly and attentive to details, with excellent communication to explain where to go and what to do in this wonderful city. We will come back!

Eccezionale”

Very quiet and quaint boutique hotel with amazing amenities and great staff. Breakfast food home-cooked with love and care. In the middle of a true residential area for local Vietnamese. For those looking for a different kind of “local” experience, highly recommended.

Expensive for the area ”

Pros: the doormen were lovely and helpful, rooms nicely styled. Modern but French inspired. Close to the airport. Cons: no elevator and no air con in the common areas, so it was a sweaty hike to my room. This was my last stop before flying home so I just wanted a place to relax but they had construction from morning to 7pm inside the hotel, very noisy. The listing says they have room service and a restaurant but I was told only breakfast was available. The mini fridge in the room didn't seem to be working. It's not walking distance to any sights and to get to food in the area you need to walk along and cross a busy road. I arrived around 6pm, which isn't very late, but only met the doorman. I finally met the female owner before check out, which was too late to impart knowledge about the area. The doorman, John, tried to give me information when I arrived but has limited English skills. He pointed me to a restaurant for dinner but couldn't answer my other questions.

Delightful Family Run Establishment”

Nestled in behind a small warren of back streets, the hotel is a French colonial era building with window shutters and flower planters adorning the walls. Your taxi will drop you off beside a sign for the hotel beside a narrow alleyway... don't be alarmed, the locals along that ally are used to tourists wandering through in search of the hotel! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and made our stay with them an absolute delight. They'll insist on sending someone with you the first time you want to go and explore the neighbourhood to help you cross the road, trust me that if you are new to being a pedestrian in Ho Chi Mihn City, it is a good idea to take this offer up... until you actually experience walking out into the road in a gap small enough only for the traffic to slow down (rather than actually get across) and have bikes weave around you as you cross, you will not believe it.

Was great little hotel ”

I only had 3 issues 1. It was very hard place to find the taxi driver found it hard and no 24 hour call desk so when we couldn't find it at 2am in the morning there was no one to call 2. The shower did not drain well and kept overflowing 3. The bed was creaky Breakfast phố was amazing loved it. The lady who spoke to me in the morning about breakfast was great no complaints service was great. When I come back I'll stay here again. I had the best nights sleep. Loved it thanks Can't recommend this place enough!!!!

Excellent”

When a former General Manager of a 5-star hotel runs a boutique hotel, he turns it into a gem. Everything is so carefully thought through. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is enough. District is quiet and it is perfect to know the city and how people live in Saigon. I have absolutely no complain and I will go again to Saigon to be able to stay in this place. Simply be aware if you go with persons in wheelchair, the hotel has no lift.

Great place to stay in HCMC”

The place is perfect for people looking for a quiet and clean place in District 3 ( 10 minutes ride from District 1, where most of touristic attractions are ). Hotel owner and the staff ( Tom ) are extremely kind. Great place !

We defenitly recommend this hidden Oase in the middle of Saigon. Lovely team an owner. Especially Tom made this stay a blast. We will come back that’s for sure.
