Nice little rooms”

Pretty good location and nice little rooms. Really liked the outdoor bathrooms, was a nice little touch. Rented bikes from reception , was pretty cheap for the day. Breakfast was nice and simple. There were bugs in the room but to be expected in a tropical region. There was some stains on sheets and towels, only place I could improved. Didn't use the pool, didn't look too appealing.

Lovely setting, good location, friendly staff: a good place to relax ”

The villas are set amongst lovely flowering bushes, which provide welcome shade when sitting out on the little verandahs. As they are set back up the slope from the main road, it is a pleasantly quiet and tranquil spot to relax. It certainly didn't bother me that they are not set right on the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a problem with one scooter I rented, and they sorted it out without any fuss. The good beaches are easily reachable by scooter, and I preferred being based in town and travelling out to them, and exploring other parts of the island. Plenty of good restaurants a few steps away, and close to places where you can relax with a drink to watch the sun go down over the ocean. The pool is not massive, but big enough, and was never busy. I would stay here again.

Good Location & Quiet”

Pro: Good location, walkking distance to uncle's rock, night market and a convenience store. Plenty of restaurants along the main street. Just across street, is the second stop of Phu Quoc Bus tour (hop On Hop Off service in Phu Quoc. Clean and quiet The receptionist can speak English fairly well Cons: The resort cannot be ssen from the main road, you have to walk about 200m inside a lane, and it is up slope. Mosquitoes Make sure you get the receptionist to settle the air conditioning issue during the day , if you have one. Breakfast menu to be improved But overall, we like our stay there.

Apart from the location being very very central in Duong Dong, this resort has many things to offer. Great breakfast including eggs, pancakes made to order and a choice of fresh fruit, bacon, ham, bread, spring rolls, noodles, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and a daily extra. Off course the buffet offers the very tasty Vietnamese coffee and also tea and fruit-juice. We loved the sweet old lady helping out with the breakfast! She was so nice bringing us extra pancakes and fruit to our table. Brilliant hospitality! The private rooms all have an open air outdoor bathroom including some plants which is very nice and tropical! The resort has a nice pool and offers the use of bikes free of charge. The reception will help you out with the rental of a scooter (150.000 dong per day) and with the booking of a tour. The resort is set in a tropical garden with fruit, flowers and tropical plants (e.g. tea!).

Breakfast has good variety but location is slightly off main road but only less than 5 min walking.Quiet surrounding without traffic noise.

Very nice garden view, rooms are new and clean, nice swimming pool, moto bike also available for riding around the province, good location at the mainstreet, just need to go over street to enjoy beach , breakfast place quite small but foods very delicious with local food, coffee , tea ...I love this

Hidden Gem”

There's nothing more than small wodden sign from the road suggesting that Miana maybe up some dark alley, you walk up and wonder if you're lost but after 100 meters you pass the gates into a Garden of Eden, ok, I'm exagerating but you'll see, the pool is slippery with hidden steps which I thought was quite dangerous and there are no safety deposit boxes in the rooms (there is however a safe on reception). Being set 100 meters back from the road, up a hill and behind other buildings, its much quieter than most other places as well. Like all things in life though, if you don't go and see for yourself, you'll never really know. I stayed an extra night, make of that what you will..

Hotel is very peaceful and quite. Love the gardens. Rooms were clean and quite specious. Staff is amazing especially receptionist lady. She helped us a lot with the advise for places to see and renting moped. Would defiantly come back.

Little pearl , close to everything”

A little narrow road takes you to a tropical garden. The place is very close to nightmarket ( 1 km) beach (700 m)restaurant shops (100 m) . Breakfast is very good , the rooms are really nice with a wonderful bathroom shower, sleeping in a mosquitonet, having a cold Beer and using a very strong Wi-Fi. The swimmingpool on top is a must after your morningwalk or maybe afternoon with a glass of wine or Beer. The resort offer you tours , we were on the south island tour in a private car 2 pers 600000 dong bustour 20-25 persons price 2 pers 540000 - you choose but we loved the private tour. We give the place a very good score.

Very nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Everything you need. Super friendly staff, especially the manager. Good breakfast. Nice pool. Many families so not always quiet. May not be suitable for everyone. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent service, location, amenities and accomodation. A piece of heaven if you want to relax, or great wifi even if you need to combine both. The staff were the greatest we have had ever ( we stay at hotels the whole time). The room was really lovely and comfortable. Thanks for an amazing stay!

It's a nice place”

It's really a nice resort, very beautiful design and decorations. But it's really noisy! I have a boy who is under 2 years old and we couldn't sleep well at night. We stayed at a family room and we heard exactly what happen outside and the next room. Especially the small restaurant where we have breafast, it's damn noisy. Sometimes, at night my family couldn't sleep because there were a group of people ate and drank there and they kept singing & yelling until midnight. I had a feeling that I stay at a hostel, not a resort.

Best breakfast in All veitnam”

For the first time ever my chalet at Miana Resort did not have a "damp problem". It didn't stop the maid from needlessly spraying the deodorizer in the room when it didn't need it. The hotel was on the high non beach side of the ring road . Perhaps 300-500m from the beach. It was on a slope and had a small narrow extremely narrow driveway with old pieces of concrete joined together. It was so narrow in one part that I didn't expect a small Kia car Taxi would be able to negotiate the gap between the brick wall and the neighboring building but it did, by inches either side! The 24 single level duplex style chalets set in a lovely garden environment were (2010) modern with very comfortable new beds, LED TVs, private external open air shower toilets basin attached with a small get back to nature garden. What I liked most was the very new and clean white towels reflecting the standard of the management. The room had ample storage for luggage and a small fridge with free bottled water. The Wifi worked well which surprised me, even during heavy rain ! There is an 11 meter rectangular clean pool with a seaview at the top of the property, umbrellas, deck chairs and a patio area for relaxing poolside. The most desirable reason for staying is that it so quiet. No smells, the odd insect and some mosquitos but nothing a small tennis racket style electric zapper wouldn't fix. Complete with umbrellas which are a necessity during the rainy season. The breakfast was the most delicious I have had in all Vietnam! The fruit was fresh, the coffee was strong and flavoursome. There was eggs of your choice cooked on a grill, noodle soup and different fried noodle combinations daily, which Vietnam is famous. The hot food was actually served hot, unlike most breakfasts in hotels. Complimented with banquette rolls. The sticky rice was excellent. The sugar juice and the jam were out of place. Wonderful stay”

Simply, it is a perfect place to stay when you come to Phu Quoc. The alley is pretty small for the taxi to get in however the area is quiet and nice. The staffs are awesome, all of them brougt the best serrvice ever and show their hospitality. Thank you so much for a memorable trip and I will return and stay if I have chance to come back Phu Quoc.

One of the best places we've stayed at on our so far 3 months trip. Nice and big rooms. Very friendly staff who shared their bbq meal with us, that was really fun. The pool was clean and big. Peaceful place.
