Problemi in struttura.”
Premesso che ci hanno dato una delle camere senza finestra ma con un unica vetrata sempre esposta al sole.l, ci stiamo trovando a soggiornare senza aria condizionata (perché a loro dire tutto il secondo piano ha un problema). Per capire ieri sera abbiamo dormito con la porta della camera aperta e con la porta sulla scala di sicurezza esterna spalancata per fare circalare aria. Anche la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare.

L’hotel sicuramente non ha camera lussuose e tantomeno servizi particolari. Se volete spendere poco, soggiornare a tre minuti dalla fermata del tram comodamente collegati con l’aeroporto, questa sistemazione è l’ideale.

Ho dovuto interrompere il mio soggiorno ad Amsterdam per uno spiacevole inconveniente,ho comunicato alla struttura che non avrei potuto usufruire della stanza da me prenotata,e che ero consapevole di aver acquistato una formula senza rimborso. Ritenendo intelligente lasciare la possibilità di prenotare a qualcun’altro. Nessuna risposta se non quella dell’immedita transazione sulla carta di credito del costo della stanza e la messa in disponibilità sui vari siti. No comment,considerando che sono una nuova struttura HANNO SOLO TANTO DA IMPARARE!

Very friendly personel. Good price, inside chinesse restaurant. Room was clean and good looking. The minus cars by Mc Donald sometimes noisy and toilet wasn't flushing sometimes 🤣

Value for money, outstanding receptionist”
Pretty decent hotel, considering the price at which we got it. Did not go around a lot because I know the Osdorp area pretty well (which is also quite neat!) Chinese food is quite decent, and McDonalds and Shell grocery store is nearby. Did not sign up for the breakfast. But what sets this place apart from other budget hotels in Amsterdam, is the friendliness of the staff, especially Sarah! She is kind, helpful, cheerful, and lovely to be around with. Likewise, the cleaning staff, particularly Francis from Ghana, is also really kind and courteous!

Pro's and cons of The New Century Hotel, Osdorp, Amsterdam.”
The Hotel is on the Western edges of Amsterdam, but is well served by the tram network, just 5 minutes walk. The staff were 'Generally' very good and helpful, although I felt there was undercurrent of stress in their working lives. My room was clean, bed was comfortable, unfortunately the telephone was unattached and had clearly been unwired for some time. Breakfast was ok, Apple/Orange juices was available, but their was no water one day. My friend and her son had a room where the air conditioning was not working, in fact it was like entering a greenhouse. We asked for a different room for her and she did get a more comfortable room. with openable windows. (unfortunately while I was asking for another room for her, it was clear there was many others who were complaining about their own rooms). Although there were some good aspects of this Hotel, I would say to any other customer who goes to the New Century, 'You get what you pay for and be prepared for the good and not so good'.

Good base hotel if you are a frequent Amsterdam visitor ”
Pros -Right by transport facilities -Staff were very friendly and helpful -Rooms were clean -Maccies right outside the hotel (Poor allergy control meant we basically had to live there for food) Cons -Poor allergy control so we had breakfast included but couldn't eat a thing -Hotel ran out of hairdryers even though stated on what was included in the room (But the staff tried their best to find one) -Not a first time visitors hotel as too far away from Amsterdam Centraal and nothing in the area

Wi-Fi was not working when asked they told yes we have in the Facilities but now we are giving Wi-Fi. The Lady in front was awful. But the owner was great and had made us comfortable after we spoke to him

Staff was rude and very unhelpful. They had no wifi. The room itself is pretty decent and clean and the bathroom is good too.

Only few channels. When I asked the lady told that I was lucky to have any channel. Window couldn’t open.

Room had a blocked sink and was smelling very bad. On the floor below, guests were smoking weed—quite unpleasant! Reception staff didn’t bother to ask if everything was okay, even during checkout.
