La stanza puzza di sigarette, la griglia del areazione è piena di polvere, le tende non sono coprenti, le forniture sono in legno del 1950, le luci sono scomode perché non sono centralizzate e bisogna spegnerle tutte a mano, la doccia è pericolosa in quanto sprovvista di supporti antiscivolo, in stanza c’è un tappeto rovinato e vecchio che emana un odore di polvere, la cassaforte è inutilizzabile. La posizione è buona e per una notte può andar bene. Il prezzo è alto rispetto la qualità fornita.

Would consider coming back”
I did not expect much but for a solo travel, it is a great price. My room tho was at the end of the hall at the second floor. Not enough lighting but all is fine and the SBahn didn't bother me much. Comfortable bed, access of a socket near the bed (easy charging), there's also a TV, a vault for valuable stuff, three lamps available 😅, big mirror, bath is big for one person. Draperies were also used which was one of my fave part of the room as I didn't wake up early from the morning light. Staff were nice. I was one of the earliest who went for breakfast. One staff chatted with me (forgot her name) and told me she's from Thailand. She offered to make me hot chocolate because I don't drink coffee. The buffet was quite nice with lots of choices. Checked in late around 10PM, the staff at the reception was nice. Easy check in. Plus points for speaking English well (for a foreigner like me). I limited my expectations for this hotel as I read low ratings after booking but after staying at Novum Kronprinz, I would consider booking there again when I go back to Berlin :)

Wir waren schon zum 5. Mal im Kronprinz. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, S-Bahnstation, sowie Busanbindungen sind gut erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Bett bequem. Wir hatten schon mehrfach das Gefühl zu Hause zu sein. Die Einrichtung wirkt einfach, aber dafür stimmt der Wohlfühlfaktor.

The hotel is OK for the the price. The location is great. It was generally clean. The shower had bad smell coming from the pipes. The shower door was not there, there was a curtain which barely held water. I dealt with 2 receptionists, the first one was unwelcoming and a it hostile, she showed racism in her attitude. The second one was just OK. I checked out after one night for personal reasons.

Wonderful structure very near S metro station; the main street very chaotic but the hotel almost seems in the countryside. Highly reccomended. Only a pity that there's no coffee/tea machine facility
