Best 4 star hotel I’ve stayed in Seoul”
It was my 2nd time in Seoul and I am glad and lucky to have booked Oriens Hotel Myeongdong because true to its Excellent review Oriens Hotel Myeongdong lived up to its expectations. Located from exit 4/7 of Chungmuro station this is the best wallet friendly yet with a touch of luxury you can get in Myeongdong. From exit 4 go straight and the fastest way to walk is to turn left from the police station as you go straight to your left is the side entrance. The lobby is huge and very modern. The carpet in 3f where we stay is a bit old. Our room is standard double room and it is spectacular. Fine comfortable huge double bed, wide selection of TV channels both local and western, very fast internet, complete toiletries and bottled water. Since its fall there is centralized airconditioning and heating. Dyson fan is there if you want more air. The toilet is huge with separate bath and toilet. The tub is a bit old but still clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back again do try.

The hotel is even better than we expected. The room size is great for a family of 3, equipped with some kitchen equipments; plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, a knife and a microwave and a sink with a tap. The staffs are one of the most friendly and helpful we have met. We checked in early because our room was ready and that was so nice after hours of traveling on the planes. Cleaners came and cleaned the room nicely everyday. The location, though not in the middle of the shopping center, but very close - 1 subway station away from Myeongdong, so it was not loud at nice and is in a great location. GS25, which is a convenient store, Emart 24 and Paris Baguette (a bakery and coffee shop) are very near the hotel. Be aware that if you travel with big luggages or family members who cannot walk much, the subway exit which locates the closets to the hotel has only stairs, and that you will have to use farther exits.

The 2 bedrooms suite was very spacious. There were 4 women in our group. & we didn’t feel crowded in this suite at all. The bedrooms and living area were very spacious, but the bathroom was a tad too small. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English well. Location was perfect. Just a short walk to Myeongdong shopping street. You don’t want to stay on the shopping street because it’s just too crazy with crowd. The location of this hotel is just perfect. Quiet enough, but not far from everything. There are so many coffee shops and convenience store in the area. I will stay here again and will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Was really impressed with all the staff there. They were really helpful whenever i required assistance. Room is very spacious and very clean. The daily housekeeping have done a great job too, making our room neat and tidy everyday. Location is good as well, nearest train station Chungmuro is just 5 mins walk and nearby to Myeongdong shopping district too. Will definitely come to this hotel again in the future when staying in Seoul.

Decide to have a Seoul trip with my girl friends and we were looking for a place that is affordable but also spacious to fit four of us and some space for us to sit down and hand out. We were so lucky to find this place!! It had everything we could ever ask for. Huge space, enough beds for four adult ladies, two bath!!, kitchen, dining table and living room to hang out. Location was also great. It was about 10 min walk to myeong dong. Residence was super quite and probably we were the most noisy guests lol. We would definitely go back if we plan on a Seoul trip again. Thank you!!!

I loved living in this hotel. The cleaning staff, the staff at the reception desk were all so friendly and nice. Everyone was helpful. Room was super spacious and clean. All the amenities worked properly. The hotel is also very close to Myeongdong shopping area and other attractions. I will definitely come back here again. Best hotel !!

5min walk to Chungmuro MRT station, 10min walk to Myeongdong street, emart and GS25 also nearby hotel. I was book 2 bedroom Deluxe Suite for 4 person, the suite is around 84m2, got 1 master bedrooms with Q bed, 1 small room with twin bed and 1 bathroom. The small room got no space to put luggage but you can leave it in living room. The living room and dining area is big enough, got 2 sofa and 1 dining table for 4 person. It is perfect for family traveler. All staff is friendly, strongly recommend to stay in this hotel.

We stayed here for 6 nights and paid only a thousand peso per head per night. This is totally a good catch for a 4-star hotel. The staff was accommodating. They always smile. :) Only downside is that location is on an uphill so you will need to stretch your legs lol but there’s an alternative route so you won’t need to literally climb just to get into the hotel. Walking distance to Myeongdong Shopping Center. Near Chungmuro Exit 4 station. Very accessible. Clean bathroom. Fast internet. Will definitely book our stay here again!

Love the location of this hotel, had seen how the area around the hotel had evolved. There are more food options compared to 8 years ago. Hotel is located in between Myeongdong and Chungmuro stations. a short walk to Myeongdong for all the shopping and come back to the calm environment of the hotel. Response of staff is good. Had some issues with room wifi and was resolved in less than 1hr (with the Front office manager coming personally to assist with the issue. Looking forward to my 6th stay with Oriens!!!

It's very easy to go around by using subway, you can walk to subway and also walk to Myeongdong. The room is really big and equipped. The maid is coming to clean everyday. Next time if i have a chance to go to Seoul, i will stay at this place again.

Good Hotel Stay!”
Good hotel, with decent location. If you want to stay somewhere a little quieter (winter time, not sure about warmer weather) this is a good spot. It's close enough to the bustling city shops and restaurants to walk (also 6 minute walk to subway) We were able to get to the subway easily through an alleyway where we also discovered amazing seolleongtang! We did have some louder neighbors that were up til 3am but it's understandable because of the current pandemic/curfew/mandates people are forced to stay in do what they do. We stay up late so it wasn't too much of a bother. Hotel room was clean and housekeeping usually came around 9-11am. Bathroom sinks are a bit tiny but overall clean. We used the workout facility often and it had sufficient equipment. Not a bad place, I recommend.

It's my 2nd time to stay here., The room is quite big and fit to everyone. (5 persons) Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. You can also walk to Chungmuro station exit 4, it's not far and easy to travel around.

We enjoyed our stay, wifi was fast, washer/dryer was useful, air purifier kept things comfortable, and room was quiet. Helpful staff and good location make this place a decent choice. AND the gym is better than most hotels at this pricepoint.

Best Place For Family”
Comfortable accomodation with 2 bedrooms for my family with 2 older kids. Spacious leaving and convinient. Staffs are helpfull. We stayed for 6 nights in winter. The room is facing Namsan tower. With balcony. The place is just a walking distance away from the famous Myeongdong Street. My family love it.

The hotel location is convenient, few minutes walking to Myeongdong and metro station. Facilities are good. I stayed in the room for 5guests, it has a kitchen with washing machine and two toilets. We had a v happy stay in Oriens Hotel! Highly recommended to all of you

We were travelling as 3. The room is very spacious and clean. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom is a little bit outdated, need better renovation. Final thought: will definitely stay here again!

One of the my to go to hotel whenever I’m in Seoul with my Family. ”
Pros : - walking distance to Myeongdong - get the two bedroom suit if you are with young children , they will love the big space and bath tub. - better than air bnb since the house keeper will come everyday to clean the unit - the staff will help you order food for delivery, just ask the lobby. Please note not every staff is fluent with English, google translate will be a big help . Cons : - walking up the slope to the hotel. But a good exercise will not hurt ☺️

The hotel is close to the subway which makes it convenient to go other places. It is also close to Myeongdong for shopping n eating. The staff are pleasant. The room was comfortable and has a kitchen/ washing machine which was a plus point. It may be difficult to find the location of the hotel for first traveller . It will help if the hotel can indicate the shortcut route from the subway to the hotel. The hallway should be brighten up as the lightings are quite dim. Thank you.

Friendly staff - front desk was very helpful and the staff at breakfast restaurant made us feel at home. A couple of recommendation - need a full length mirror in a brighter spot in living room/kitchen instead of in the entrance. It would be nice to have a convenience store right in the hotel
