Buon hotel posto dalla parte opposta del Petra Visitor Center rispetto a Wadi Musa. La posizione sul fianco della montagna gli conferisce una splendida vista. I ristoranti per mangiare la sera non distano molto a piedi, all'andata si va in discesa e al ritorno con lo stomaco pieno si va in salita. Le camere sono confortevoli, senza infamia e senza lode. L’unico difetto è che appunto Petra è un po’ lontanina da raggiungere a piedi, ma con 3 euro vi ci porta un taxi.

Buona struttura, ma problemi con la prenotazione”

L'holtel è pulito e confortevole. Le camere hanno lo standard di un nostro buon 3 stelle. La colazione lascia abbastanza a desiderare. Una sera abbiamo cenato in hotel e lo sconsiglio, perchè in paese ci sono molti ristoranti dove si mangia molto meglio e si spende poco. In hotel la qualità del cibo era davvero scarsa (un buffet con pochissima varietà e cibi non particolarmente attraenti). Noi abbiamo avuto un problema al check in, perchè non ci è stato accettato il voucer di Agoda, sostenendo che era sbagliata la prenotazione per l'età dei figli. Fatto sta che ci hanno fatto pagare una cifra assurda (250 euro!!) per l'integrazione. Sicuraemnte eravamo in altissima stagione (Capodanno), ma certo nemmeno la camera intera ha quel prezzo. Può darsi che alla base ci fosse un mio errore (o di Agoda), sicuramente loro se ne sono approfittati al massimo.

Appena arrivati abbiamo avuto un problema con l'acqua calda, subito il personale si è attivato per risolverlo, in un ora l'acqua calda è tornata nel bagno della stanza e per scusarsi la direzione ci ha mandato in camera un cesto di ottima frutta, che mio figlio di 2 anni ha gradito molto e un mazzo di fiori, che dire, al Sella Petra la professionalità non manca e sanno coma far star bene il proprio cliente.

Stayed for 2 nights and found the room pretty romantic and cozy. AMAZING sunset view of Petra from the window. Breakfast was pretty good with a wide variety of Jordanian influenced food. As the hotel was about 1.6km from Petra's entrance, we expected inflated price tag but we found it a little overpriced given the hotel does not have a pool and we did not have a balcony in our room. Overall a pleasant PETRA experience as the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Good location, friendly staff but room for improvement in cleanliness”

The strong point is friendly staff who were eager to help. One of the front desk staff even volunteered to pay for some cookies as he was not sure of how to charge us for it. They also resolved immediately the problem with the heating in the room. On the downside, the bed linens did not appear fresh and the bath and toilet facilities needed some upgrading. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

The workers attitude is really not professional as a hotel presence. The bathroom design is weird the the toilet is too closed to the sink and room is very tiny...

Value for money hotel with clean rooms and friendly accommodative staff.”

The hotel rooms are clean with basic amenities, nothing fancy. They even charge for shuttle service to Petra. Staff was very friendly and accommodative - ordered lunch from a different restaurant and delivered to us as we were too tired after our hike in Petra. When we complained that some of the food was sub par, they waived charges for it. Food can be a lot better - both their breakfast as well as the food in their own restaurant across the street.

A Clean and convenient hotel with nice staff”

The room is very clean. Spacious. I like that it's at a relatively higher level but restaurants at walking distance. The staff is particularly nice and helpful, polite and Patient for inquiries.

Lovely hotel, up the road from Petra but taxi just 2 JD and the hotel will get you one. couple of shops close by, but go early for flat breads. Great rooms and very clean.

Stay for one night. Hotel location just 5min drive to PETRA entrance. Hotel are clean & the bed are very comfortable. Hotel staff & hotel front manager are very helpful & serve us with full of dedication. We were late for our breakfast, & the breakfast buffet had close. but the hotel front manager ( Naheth Nawafleh) instruct the hotel kitchen to serve us breakfast. Yes just the three of us at the breakfast table. I’m so delighted with the up standards customer service show by the hotel. Will definitely come back.

I had booked and prepaid for a double room which I later ammended to a triple room with written confirmation from the hotel. Upon arriving, we were told they actually didn’t have a room after admitting they had confirmed they did, and we would have to move to another hotel which was not as nice and a room of much lower quality (despite the staff being much nicer there). We explained how unhappy we were and that I should have been informed in advance of arriving. The manager kept shouting at us and argued that it was our fault for being annoyed and that we never had a booking in the first place (despite me paying Agoda already and the hotel confirming this multiple times). It is clear that he has had no customer service training or respect for his guests, telling us we could find our own hotel elsewhere. I would not recommend having to deal with him to anyone visiting that hotel. The breakfast was also an extortionate price with hardly any food available when we arrived.

Use this hotel only as a back-up option.”

We had two couples traveling and booked this hotel because other higher quality hotels near the ancient city of Petra were fully booked. We booked two rooms with king size beds, but one of the rooms received upon check-in was a small room with two single beds. We immediately requested the room we reserved, but a desk clerk said they were fully booked and that if we were unhappy we should cancel our reservation and book elsewhere (which we knew was not an option since the other hotels were booked). I asked to speak with a manager and was told “he was out of the country “. I then asked if I could speak to a manager on the phone. Within a few minutes another room with a king size bed was made available. Needless to say our initial experience with the service of the hotel was poor. Later during our stay, other staff were helpful and professional. Most of the rooms seen were very small with cramped bathrooms. Needs better maintenance, had some A/C and plumbing problems.

I got there very late but was well received, nothing was a problem for the staff, The place is clean staff were friendly and location is just great. There is also a restaurant just across the road which serves good food at a reasonable price
