Amazing resort. But..”
Don't eat at the restaurant. Don't put yourself through that. There is a cafe called cafe 2401 a 2 minute walk up the road and it's amazing. My scrambled eggs were watery and my soup made me sick at the resort restaurant.

Quiet & Peaceful place & great location”
Very good location & amazing pool area. Rooms were quite spacious and beautiful. One must make their food & travel arrangements on their own as the food was not that great and rooms do not have kettles for coffee or tea. Customers are charged for using the kettle in the restaurant area which is available only till 9 pm.

Came to koh phangan for full moon festival and all the accommodations on haad rin were all booked. The phangan orchid resort was almost right in the middle, between haad rin and city centre area. So equal travel distance either direction. Resort has scooter rentals options where scooter are either brought to you or you taken to them. Beach Resort clean and very relaxing, beach is rocky and not smooth sands but resort has pool and with scooters the next white sand beach is not hard to get to. Staff was very nice and accommodating, only 1 room key was available for our stay.

It looks like a family run business. The owner was very nice but it doesn’t look like there are many staff there. If you are looking for a full service hotel this might not be the place. Otherwise it’s a good place to stay. I was booked to a room with amazing beach view. Love it tho.

The staff was never around to clean the room, answer a question or even order something from the restaurant. We arrived about 20min after scheduled check-in time to see the staff not really doing anything and were told our room still needed to be cleaned. Two hours later we finally got a room key. The security safe in the room is a joke (basic key locked door with glass window so everyone can see your valuables. Finally the security of the room is a jock because the gap in the door is so large you simply use a credit card to open the door faster than with the key

The people are really friendly and the view is nice but sadly it ends there. The ocean is hardly suitable for swimming (shallow, pipes in the water) and the pool was in a terrible shape. There was hardly any breakfast available. The hotel is okay if you are looking for a quite and clean room after a night of party but if you look for a tropical paradise for you or your family - this is not it.

Electricity key-card is *weld* to door key”
so that you will not be able to have aircon on while you're out (seen nothing like that on the island during half year of stay on the island). So depending on the weather your clothes may go mold - property owner don't care at all about it. They only care about money they make from you - i.e. electricity bill. Location: - sea is knee level for hundreds meters from the coast - sharp turn with steep hill right above the resort(probably steepest on the island): sound of bikes and cars climbing up the hill 24/7 and also motorbikes crashes time to time - I saw at least 2 during two weeks of stay, probably they can even fall on one of houses in resort.

Unica cosa negativa che ho gia' segnalato a voi di Agoda e poi alla receptipn quando sono arrivato e'che in Agoda non compare il n.di telefono del tesort e inoltte ho inviato ben due mail di richi3sta invio n.telefono senza ricevere purtroppo una risposta!!la signorina della receptipn mi ha assicurato che ha inviato mail ad Agoda..ma sulla mia mail non honricevuto niente!@questa e' la unica pecca che segnalo..sperando che in seguito rimediate a tale inconveniete..infatti se un cliente vuole informazioni sullo indirizzo del resort e come e' piu'facile raggiungerlo..viene penaluzzato!!sopratutto se uno arriva di notte..infatti a Ko Phangan vi e'scarsa illuminazione e scarsa segnaletica..per uno che va per la prima volta puo'essere molto complicato!!

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti ed eravamo gli unici ospiti, il resort e' piacevole e molto vicino ad had rin (se interessa) i 2 problemi principali e non trascurabili sono : spiaggia impraticabile e piscina con acqua molto torba quindi non praticabile

The room was unbelievably spacious for a standard room. Owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. Even giving us extra water when we didn't ask for it. Location is great, just before the hills going to Haad Rin. Quiet and very clean. Will book again.

Theft”
This is a quiet and well run resort a few kilometres from Haad Rin. It’s a perfect location. Sitting around the pool at sunset is amazing. The rooms are good and cleared well. We ate there once. The food was really ordinary and the chicken was actually gone bad. We tasted a piece and left the rest. The sad thing was that 8,500 baht was stolen. My friend thinks from when she put it in their safety box over the full moon party. The owners don’t seem sympathetic at all so we didn’t push them about it. We exoect it must have been one of the staff and impossible to prove. It’s a nice place but count your money

Dear guests , we just read this and we really sure the safety box are safe only you have a key and the safety box are in the owner house .we do not do the bad things to our resort to the guests it is not worth to do that.we do business with over 30 million bath we will not kill our business.and i can not remember that you tell us you lost your money and ask the police to check it out,why?why you do not ask the police to make that clear if the money lost?
Short stay for Full Moon”
Overall we were pleased with our stay at Orchid Resort. The location is excellent as it’s directly by the beach, and not far from Haad Rin for the party. The staff were helpful in organising a moped and ride to the party. It is around a 20 min walk to a Family Mart which was slightly inconvenient. It was slightly overpriced despite being the Full Moon we felt the facilities didn’t fulfil the steep pricing. We would probably return again
