Heaven!”
I spent a lot of time finding the right place for my husband and I for a week in January 2020. I wanted to be beachfront with a fabulous view, reasonable $$, not overrun with children and chill. Pingchan was all of the above. We booked a beachfront room and we may as well have been right on the sand. The bed was more comfortable than the one at the Peninsula in Bangkok. My only complaint is that I wish the chairs on the balcony were more comfortable (very minor). The staff was charming and helpful and at least once a week (if not more) since we left, I wished we were back there.

Ticks all the boxes”
Right on the beach, staying at Pingchan was a very relaxing experience. Friendly and helpful staff, nice bungalows with great beds, and everything clean and cared for. Breakfast was good, if a little monotonous after a while, and was left underwhelmed by the food at the restaurant.

Very comfortable bungalows, nice garden with pool and directly located at a beautiful bay, perfect for kids. There are a couple of nice restaurants directly at the beach, very relaxed and not overcrowded. A bit remote from other places on the island.

Ideal spot on paradise beach”
The rooms are right on the most amazing beach and hotel has great vibes and good food. What more can you ask for? Was bit pricey but such is life.

Can't beat the beach-front villa view”
We stayed here over new years. We were in a beach front villa and there's no denying the view is amazing! (although generally the beach could be cleaner). Breakfast was really good. Rooms are fine - not luxurious but equipped with everything you need and a large bathroom. Nice pool area too

Really old resort and nearly dead resort! In this price range there are a lot of better hotels/resorts. The beach is very dirty and cleaned up from the guests and not from the hotel. We can not recommend the hotel.

Where to begin what a great hotel fantastic rooms very clean and the staff are all very helpful especially Kay what a lovely lady who just can’t do enough for you wonderful location with lots of great restaurants along the beach and bars would recommend this hotel all day long 👍

Amazing place and service”
We just finished staying for a week at Pingchan with our two young children. The place is located perfectly in an amazing and quiet beach. The staff were incredible and super helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, clean room, poor breakfast”
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the beach is beautiful and quiet. The breakfast system at this hotel is not very good. You order your breakfast by choosing options on your breakfast voucher. We never got exactly what we ordered on the 3 days we were there. Cereal never came with milk or spoons and you had to keep asking the staff for the missing bits. Not ideal.

Paradise on earth!”
We spent 5 days at Pingchan, out of our two weeks on the islands. By far the best place we were in. The location is amazing! Quite beach, great food, drinks, plenty of places to wonder around too (or take some day trips), but for us it was being able to just lay back and relax on this amazing beach. The staff is super friendly, the food is great and inexpensive - or you can always wonder to the village to eat in the food stalls there, wonder on the beach to the other locations, take a kayak to nearby beaches. Lots of options, all without effort. The villas are really lovely. Row 1+2 seem to be a bit bigger and with a private yard shower as well as the regular one, but row 3 is also great (we had a room in each). The beds were super comfortable, and the villas were just so well designed to make you feel like in a hut on the beach. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the shower in the room - the water flow was very weak, and the shower heads in both rooms leaked a bit.

Great pool, staff, and location. The beach location is perfect for all types of travelers. Quiet in the evenings and just enough activity during the day to keep us busy. Great stay at Pingchan

Relaxing getaway.”
Lovely hotel in a very peaceful area. Clean room and good facilities. The beach is lovely and clean and quiet. In the evening we went to Thong nai pan noi beach (just a few minutes from the resort) where there was a good choice of restaurants.

No Snorkelling”
This is a lovely resort with a perfect clean beach, but lacks any fish. Dont even waste your time trying to snorkel here. Lovely rooms and staff.

Great Ocean Villa - Beautiful Bay”
Thong Nai Pan was an amazing Bay for us to stay at. Pingchan is very secluded and the Ocean Villas are great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort is tucked away on the east side of the island. It's perfect if you want seclusion and quiet nights, but makes it a little challenging to get to the action on the other side. The beach has a nice selection of restaurants that are open until 9 or 10pm. The one at the end had the best Pad Siewe Moo!
