Far to expensive for facilities provided”

Pros were, location to Beach, ok pool and large gardens. Cons are, Room was dated and needs a serious upgrade. Wall paper was peeling at the joints. Smelt damp. Basically for 5,000 baht a night it is way over priced. 1,500 would be more in line.

Gorgeous location”

Site is beautiful. Lots of mature trees, immaculate grounds and nice wood construction throughout. Excellent breakfast and restaurant food also excellent. Management of the premises is a bit haphazard. Some of the staff could be better trained. That does not stop all member of staff from being very pleasant. Nice place to stay and would be even better if they had a spa.

Expected So Much More”

Staff weren't that well trained, and one particular porter was downright rude, tossing some of our luggage on to the golf cart. The grounds, beautiful though they are, make the most fantastic breeding ground for mosquitoes, it being so dark and damp. The rooms need fly screens on doors and windows. Without them, you end up being closed in to your room the whole time. It would also help to have mosquito lamps in every room. The baby cot that we requested had a mosquito net but it was totally useless as it was too small to fit over all of cot. The swimming pool was very cold, thanks to being entirely in the shade of trees. On the plus side, the grounds are beautifully kept and it is very peaceful. The rooms are quite unique and different. Having the yard below the rooms is a great feature, if only you didn't get eaten alive by mosquitoes every time you sit there. Food in the restaurant is very good. What let's things down is breakfast. Bakery items all stale.

Cool and pleasant”

The rooms was like Thai vintage houses, there are 2 floors, the first or ground floor is a free space, it is best to hangout, have some activities, or bbq perhaps. The upstairs is a bed room with balcony, there is one living room with TV. The room is so quiet at night, no sounds from outside can interrupt you sleep. The houses surrounded by plants and trees, like the whole place is a garden itself. Every houses also provided with bicycles, which can be used to go anywhere even outside the hotel. In front of the hotel is a private beach, there’s space to sit down in front of Cha-am beach and it is free. The breakfast is excellent, especially croissants.

Good resort with big garden, very relaxing place. ”

Overall is good and very happy with staffs, facilities and quiet place for relaxing. I stayed in double-bed room which 5' bed size and would be better if there is 6' size option and another thing only if the toilet and bathroom combined together would be better and convenience.

Brilliant hotel”

The accommodation was brilliant, you felt as if you were in your own little home. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. .Bicycles were provided free of charge so it was easy to get to the other end of the resort where they had sunbeds on the beach to hire . Beach was opposite the hotel with deck chairs for free, but not so good for serious sunbathing. The restaurant was fantastic with selections of Thai food and English , a little more expensive than the more `authentic ` Thai restaurants but defiantly worth it. Breakfast was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our eight day stay and would defiantly go back again.

Nice peaceful retreat”

We found the resort to be very pleasant, the staff were excellent and the restaurant was really good. The rooms are very spacious for the price and it was nice to stay in a more boutique Hotel instead of the big beach hotels in Hua Hin.

Grate private and lovely service”

Raya resort Cha-am located in a nice area with a open beach. My family love the resort very much in term of big family travel. The service were very nice all day and night just call. The greenery and relaxing area are fantastic during the hottest summer time in summer time. Considering about the price is the fair value in term of of overall. But we cannot afford every time for travel. If you are looking for forestry resort and private they might be perfect for you.

Not too Bad”

A little boring,however the grounds were superb. The rooms were pleasant enough although the beds were small and rock hard, very little English TV and most other channels had no signal. The hotel is really situated at the wrong end of town for a decent stay even though they do supply two rickety old push bikes for use. Nothing really to say wow about this hotel will not be going back

Great room, great service, great food”

Excellent, great value for money - highly recommend for a relaxing break. A car would be useful but you can order the hotel car for an agreed price to take you almost anywhere - so not entirely necessary. Beach is a little nicer and wider further South, but food and service and the nice pool did it for me.

Marvelous and lovely place to stay!”

We had a great time at Raya Resort. It is located at the quiet part of Cha-am. Raya Resort has a great garden and is located at the beach. You get free bicycles to explore this part of Cha-am. At the beach Raya Resort has chairs and umbrellas free to use and it is easy to order drinks and food. Staff is very friendly and they arrange everything for you. Although hiring their driver seems a little bit expensive, it's worthwhile to do this. They bring you everywhere and if you are ready to go back to the resort, they'll pick you up. No hustle with finding a taxi (which can be very hard in the area of the resort).

They were prepared for us when we arrived, and were quick to respond to our request for 3 separate beds. The bikes that were provided were fun, and the grounds were like a private oasis just off the busy beachside road. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds were immaculate. Housekeeping was attentive. Would highly recommend this place to families or people who want to escape the busy crowds.

A goog location for a short break”

Overall a good stay. The children enjoyed the bicycles supplied in the resort and the food in the restaurant was good. The beds were very hard and i would not wish to spend more than two nights in them.
