This was one of the best experiences ever! The actual ship is perfect, could not be cleaner, any deck you are on is beautiful and you will have the most stunning views no matter where you are! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are having the best time and could not do enough! Every meal was delicious and so much choice! Entertainment after diner was so good, it could easily be cheesy on a cruise like this but it wasn’t, the staff got the best out of all the guests creating a fantastic atmosphere!! Really made memories we will never forget! The room we had was one of the best I’ve stayed in, the balcony was unreal, I could have sat on it all day! Having a bath with views of the bay was also an experience haha! Thank you all so much!

The level of service I hope to receive everywhere”
We got upgraded to a new sister cruise under the same owner of Rosa Cruise. The only thing that we were not very satisfied was the food which I could understand because the cruise was new and they were still testing the menu. The kitchen team probably tried to serve western style to cater to tourists but there were a lot of misses. There should be more Viet cuisine. There were some problems with the food served to my boyfriend twice. However, I have to commend the captain Bruce and the in charge Sam who did not stop apologising for the mistakes and made sure we were well compensated. The whole crew was really welcoming, showing care and concerns and making sure we feel like we receive first class service. The facilities were new and modern. Loved the bath tub and bathroom tiles! Perhaps they could organise a bit more activities for guests on board other than squid fishing (it was off season) and karaoke at night. Other than that, I was 100% happy with my choice!

Hi, we just came back from Rosa Cruise. The cruise was fantastic, staff was great especially Mr Tin Tin our guide as he was very knowledgeable and jovial. The food was so good too. We were also given a safety brief by the guide prior to moving off. The events they had organised was very interesting and adventurous. The staff was very prompt in service and answering queries. I will recommend all to take this cruise as it is cheap and good.

We were upgraded to a different cruise called Dorris Cruise. This is a review on Dorris cruise. It was amazing. We've never had the opportunity to stay somewhere quite so fancy and to be able to do it on the ocean was incredible. 10/10. What a great experience.

Recommended to do a trip by a friend, decided to go with Rosa Cruise and they didn't disappoint. Travelled Solo in Vietnam and met easy going down to earth fellow travelers on the cruise. 2d 1n, good value for money. Utilized the private bus/limo transfer pick up from my Hostel in Hanoi, would recommend!

Fantastic Cruise Experience”
We were lucky to get an free upgrade to Rosa Boutique cruise. Jack is our guide who speak good english and entertaining. The food prepared were nice but only welcome drinks and two small bottle of mineral water are included in the package. The activities were fun and packed. The room were clean and comfortable. Overall, a chill and fun cruise experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed all the activities that were in the itinerary and thought it was a terrific way to spend 24 hours on Halong Bay. It is an older boat I would not consider luxury but the value you get is immense.

Upgraded to the Rosy Cruise and was amazing. Room was very nice with the balcony. Food was great, although more vegetarian options would be good. Onboard drinks were overly priced, including water and coffee! Everything was too rushed with the activities. The “coconut” boat ride to the caves was not thrilling and probably not necessary. More time for kayaking would have been better!

Opportunity to be close to appreciate beauty of Halong Bay ”
The cruise itself is unremarkable, yet it is a great experience and certainly an opportunity to be close and appreciate the beauty of Halong Bay. The reception at the harbour was rather disorganised and things were better when we boarded the Rosa Boutique Cruise ship. The overall condition of the ship is good, and the room is reasonably spacey with 1 queen size and 1 single bed. The bathroom is en-suite. The airconditioning works reasonably well. The airconditioning in the main dining cabin does not work well, leaving it stuffy and hot. The guide and the entire cruise crew were friendly and helpful. The itinerary is fixed and no room for flexibility. The food on board, though, was excellent. Price for drinks, including mineral water is reasonable and not exhorbitant. All in all, the cruise was smooth sailing, relaxing (except the chase to keep up with time of the itinerary) and afforded a good view of Halong Bay.

Good cruise, but the standard of bus was terrible ”
Rosa cruise was fun and enjoyable but please do not engage their bus service, terrible driving and with not a good sense of driving directions. Book it at your own risk

Nice but touristy”
Nice boat trip but too many activities with very tight schedules ( 7am breakfast and too many caves visits!) there is no time to relax which is a shame as the roof deck would be so beautiful just to spend a day reading a book and enjoying the scenery . But it seems all the boats have the same schedule. Dining area too formal, would be better to have dinner / bbq on the roof deck. Rooms are very clean and pretty big. Very comfortable beds!

Misty island hopping”
Although you hear of a ton of garbage, it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. Any cruise, it seems is a good one. Probably better to go with smaller ones 6-10 cabins than the massive ones. Has a bit more of a community vibe. If you can find a cruise that does not go to Titop Island, that would be best. It’s so crowded and you’re left there for 2 hours. Better yet- stay on the boat and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Water should be free. ”
Firstly Agoda should have notify us that transfer is not included in the fee of the cruise. We were surprised to be told be Rosa Cruise that we need to pay that separately. Ross Cruise provided all meals but Water should be included in all meals. They only gave 1 bottle per person per night. We can accept the cruise selling juices & alcohol but not pay high price for water. They should give 3-4 bottles per day.
