I am very pleased by the facilities and services at the hotel. The location is bit far from centre but thats my intention. You can have peaceful and quiet environment when staying at this hotel. Taxi fare to go to centre is pretty cheap so its not an issue I think. Overall, highly recommend this place.

Hotel location runs through from Ganh Hao restaurant, a little bit far, if you have a private car is okay . The hotel is located on the hill . Friendly staff . Deluxe rooms clean and beautiful . Used free games : billiards , foosball , game room for kids. Food & Drink are cheaps. The pool is pretty small but with me it's no problem

Great holiday”

The hotel is inside a small road where very quiet. Hotel clean and in order. There are a lot of activities for kid here. The standard room is big and clean but furniture is a little old. In general, I enjoy my stay here.

A Perfect Blend of Peace and Party”

We went for Tet, and had the best time ever. The staff and location make this place fantastic but the extra additions of a beautiful pool, stunning views from the roof terrace restaurant and a great billiard and pool room add that little bit extra.

A nice place for a quiet retreat”

the staff are very accommodating to our every need. we were preparing for a surprise birthday, and they were more than happy to provide us with a lighter, cork screw, and wine glasses. the hotel's location is great place to relax, particularly looking out to the lush hill and temple. there's also a nice panoramic view looking out to the sea at the top floor restaurant. rooms are quite clean and tastefully designed.

Great hotel for limited budget”

A suitable hotel for those who want to stay away from crowded beach. Local staff are friendly and helpful. Did not try the food inside, as it is so close to Ganh Hao and Cay Bang restaurant, where you can find cheap and fresh seafood in walking distance. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!!!

A great place to get away from the noise”

we stayed two nights here. yes, there is a little distance from the city, but 15 minutes ride from the city didn't bother us any. you can arrange renting a motorcycle at the counter. the hotel has good atmosphere and very quiet. rooms were clean and comfortable. we relaxed there.

Lovely view but location is not that convenient”

I love the view as the hotel located at mountain. You can have a seaview as well as mountain view from different side of the hotel. The hotel overall is perfect for me and i will definitely consider to go back again to stay as the room & staff are really good and nice. The only imperfect thing is the location not that convenient as you need to get food from somewhere not nearby and it will be not that safe when travel at night.

valley mountain is in a very quiet part of vung tau (mulberry beach) with low key resort restaurants and scrappy beach nearby. very freindly and helpful staff and comfortable modern rooms. view from the breakfast terrace on the roof is the best in the hotel. well appointed rooms, small balconies (ours without sea view), small gym and great pool. all in all a very pleasant surprise after the hustle of touristy vung tau. taxis not easy to find around the hotel so have them phone for one. just a pleasant 30 min walk into town if you are in the mood.

Not value for money I paid”

I booked Luxury Double Room with Sofa thru Agoda with Sea View room. But my room had no any view even a part of sea view. You should check with hotel after you book agoda if it's a real or not. Facilities is Okay but not worth for my money.

LOvely hotel in a quiet location ”

The facilities were lovely, really modern and the breakfast was amazing. The room had all the amenities you needed and more there was even a razor, comb and sewing kit. This is a Vietnamese hotel that lives up to the reputation vietnam has regarding hotel service. I’ve stayed in places like this in Hanoi but never in the south of vietnam. It was really a fantastic place to stay especially if you don’t want to stay in one of the resorts. You’ll need to drive five minutes to get to the city and twenty to get to the busy part of the beach but that wasn’t a problem as I drove there anyway.

Downhill, getting worse by the day :(”

Rant on: Stayed here a few times (even came here for company trip) and loved it but now it's the worst. 1. Construction noise waking us up at 7am on a weekend. Why do you do remodeling at the weekend? why start at 7am? Cannot understand.. 2. No breakfast if you book through agoda.com. Are you kidding me? No problem though since the restaurant is not functioning either. At least I didn't pay for a brekkie that I can't have. 3. They used to have cushions on the deck chairs around the pool. well, not anymore. Small thing, I know, but the hard wooden lounge chair are not very comfortable. 4. Gym area has been converted into rooms. I mean why? do you have so many guests? right now we are the only ones at the hotel and it's a weekend... Btw, the gym should be deleted from their list of facilities. Overall, not happy at all, considering what we paid for a luxury double room. Of course, we are getting the usual "sorry, sorry" apologies, but that doesn't really help. Otherwise, hotel is clean, staff is ok, no problem there. Managements/owner should really decide if they want to turn this place around or just let it slip into oblivion. As far as I'm concerned, this has been my last stay here, not coming any more.

The rooms amazing, the breakfast awesome. the only thing is that the AC is not really cool, but ive noticed that they were in the process of upgrading the compressors of the some rooms during my stay there.

Nice hotel at seaside”

This hotel is about 2 km away from Vung Tau city, paid 50,000 VND for a taxi ride. Very disappointed when the hotel staff gave us a deluxe room with an extra bed but we booked and already paid for a family standard room with two queen beds. The lady staff at the counter said the hotel is changing the owner, the hotel name will be changed to "SEA MOUNTAIN HOTEL" started from 1st of June. There is one building of hotel under renovation, therefore we were given a deluxe room instead of family standard room. Anyway the lady staff at counter was very helpful, she could speak in simple English, she gave us a guide about the famous spots at Vung Tau. Hotel is very near to the area of "Front beach", 100 m walk from hotel, across the road, can reach the "Pineapple beach",but the beach was quite dirty, we have to take taxi and pay about 75,000 VND, went to a more beautiful beach, called "Back beach",the beach was beautiful and more local people were swimming there. Nearby there is a famous tourist spot," Jesus statue" on the top of a hill,we have to walk about 500 m to reach the top area.

nice hotel and will come back again”

its very good and comfortable of the environment, staffs are nice and polite, and the view of the breakfast at the balcony was peaceful and worthwhile. the location is not near the city but will be very quiet at night. the space of room (standard twin) was wide and feel like home. very good experience to stay here

Hotel is still ok.”

Toilet is big but the bathing area has no holder to put the soap; shampoo and bath cream which all have to put on the floor. TV is small and old model. Using key to open the door instead of inserted card. Every time we go out need to press the lock button from inside. No power supply to charge the battery or phone when going out.
