We lived in the main building. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach is clean as well. A bit far to walk to the night market. but very good price renting at scooter.

Sunsets for days. ”
Stayed for 6 nights at beach front villa. The villa was large and had everything you needed. Location was perfect with easy to walk to shops, bars and all. Their own restaurant was well priced and good food. Staff super attentive and helpful. Couldn't flaw the place. Highly recommended and will stay here again.

Recently spent 4 nights at Sea Star resort, if the weather had been better it would have been paradise, that said we still really enjoyed our time here in a beach front bungalow. The resort had everything we needed, it was clean, the staff were good. We stayed in a bungalow that appeared to have had some refurbishment work done on it and noticed there was other work going on around the resort during the low season which was good to see. We noticed in other reviews that there was noise from building work and bars next door we did not hear anything during our stay. Overall despite the weather an enjoyable experience.

Memorable Mother’s day with mom”
A huge plus when me and mom first arrived is the cleanliness. The travel restriction has just been lifted; there’s only us at the resort. The water is crystal clear, breakfast and room service are thourough and carefully done by staffs. Another big plus is the surrounding atmotsphere. There was no construction nearby, no sign of loud music and rude people. The resort is located just 5 mins away from Dinh Cau night market and 12 km from Ham Ninh fisherman’s village. There’s plenty of freshly caught, and well-cooked seafood. Although the resort, the sea, the food, and staffs are far better than we can ask for, there wasn’t many things to do at night due to the COVID-19; people are still cautious and businesses are still closed. Anyway, mom does enjoy the trip and be quite happy after all. That counts as one of my biggest achievements.

Good hotel on long beach ”
We stayed in one of the beach front chalet at sea star resort we have stayed here before and you cannot fault the location. It is a shame that the Chinese apparently have brought most of the beachfront and closed nearly all the beachfront bars. The street above the beach is where everyone has relocated. This is a good ares for a feed and a drink, but it doesn’t beat sitting with sand on you’re feet dogs under the table looking at the ocean. I guess that’s called progress

I really like it here at Sea Star Resort. All the staff was so friendly & helpful. Location is in the middle of island, near the market so basically we can go anywhere. The beach is also peaceful. Worth money here

Disappointed ”
We have been to this resort on 4 occasions over the past 7 years. Most disappointed on raising visit. To explain the resort had loud construction noise from a neighboring property which started each day ( Sundays included) at 0700 hours. To add to the noise factor the adjoining resort had very loud music all day into the night I.e. midnight every night. This is a resort to be avoided altogether if your desire is peace abd tranquility. This being what the resort was excellent for, in years past. Highly disappointed as the title of those review states. Regrettably with tears we will not be staying here again. Staff have been very helpfull but have not offered reduction in account for construction and night club noise. Vietnamese Government needs to regulate against this type of impact on tourists and their businesses. Not the relaxing holiday I had planned for us.
