Spartano ma sulla spiaggia più bella”
Ero ben conscio delle qualità e dei difetti di questa struttura. Abbiamo preso una family room a 14 € a notte, avevamo vista mare, due buoni letti con lenzuola vetuste, un bagno al limite del praticabile, con un lavabo stile "abbeveratoio di mucche" senza una mensola o uno specchio, per tirare l'acqua del wc si riempie il secchio e non c'è acqua calda.... Di contro si è su una spiaggia veramente splendida, la clientela è principalmente tedesca e francese, con qualche coppia di temerari italiani, tutti molto amichevoli e simpatici. Durante il giorno si riempe (relativamente) di gitanti mordi e fuggi, soprattutto italiani, ma dalle 16 in avanti rimarrete solo voi e gli ospiti delle altre 3 strutture a godervi il tramonto. Al ristorante si mangia bene thai, ma ci sono pochi posti a sedere. Il ragazzo che prende le ordinazioni parla un buon inglese, non c'è il massimo dell'efficenza ma per livello di koh phangan è un buon servizio. Insomma potete andarci ma dovete avere un buono spirito di adattamento (energia elettrica solo dalle 18 alle 9), avete per quello che spendete. In linea di massima vi consiglio di prendere i bungalow a due piani che sono i più costosi, ma parliamo di un paio di euro di differenza, io anche se non mi sono trovato male non ci tornerei, ho visto le stanze del vicino haad kuad e per 25 euro avrete le comodità di cui siete abituati.

Bottle Beach vale tutto ”
Smile Bungalow è soprattutto una struttura affascinate con i sui pregi e i suoi difetti ed è quello che ti aspetti, bungalow spartani arroccati in mezzo ad una jungla di fitta vegetazione incastonato forse nella migliore posizione di un vero gioiello, un vero paradiso che è bottle beach! Nei giorni in cui soggiorni in questo luogo devi dimenticarti di cos'è l'acqua calda, ma di diccie con acqua a temperatura ambiente che tanto fredda non è, devi dimenticarti della civiltà ed di un wi-fi perfettamente funzionante ma molto intermittente perché questo luogo lo raggiungi o con la barca o con un affascinante percorso in mezzo alla jungla, devi pensare ad una pulizia non proprio impeccabile e devi vivere il luogo rilassandoti sulla tua amaca del tuo bungalow ma soprattutto sdraiato sulla sabbia bianca o immergendoti in mare cristallino ammirando e riempiendoti gli occhi di questa favolosa baia.

migliore scelta a bottle beach”
Bungalow ampio, senza acqua calda ma ben arredato e con bello stile ( amaca/ bagno). Rustico, ma se si è a bottle Beach non ci si deve aspettare un resort a cinque stelle. Ristorante ok, ma non ottimo. Secondo me la miglior struttura di bottle beach per ambiente e posizionamento

Relax e natura”
Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti in un bungalow davvero carino di due piani, con un bagno molto grande, particolare e ben curato. Ovviamente stando nella natura ci stavano degli ospiti indesiderati, quali gechi. Comunque il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole ma è adatto per chi vuole stare un po isolato, è anche abbastanza difficile raggiungere il posto l'unico modo è tramite barca.

third time I was here. simply unique. the staff the bar the beach !!!! and the staff. Bungalows are kept simple but clean. in the evening football is played on the beach with the thais. makes mega fun. Almost a week ago. pure relaxation. Until next time!!

Great bungalows ”
Beautiful setting and lovely people. Our bungalow was simple and beautiful in the jungle garden with sea views. The bathroom design was imaginative and practical! Old school beach bungalow. Fans kept us cool at night. Our kids played with the local kids who were full of fun. It’s busy during the day with day trippers but so peaceful at night. The boat men were honest and full of information and the dogs hilarious! A fabulous place to stay.

Welcome to Paradies ”
Perfect stay if you want to relax and escape reality for a while. The beach is quiet and not a lot of bars or restaurants around. But to be honest this is part of the beauty. If you have time: go to bottle beach viewpoint. It’s worth the climb up the mountain. Oh and most important: the staff is amazing.

Jungle retreat bungalows on the beach”
The bungalows blend in with the forest which is next to the beach. You get the shade from the trees, sounds of the waterfall and the ocean. At night you can hear the local wildlife. In the early morning go down to the rocks on the left of the beach to see families of monkeys looking for breakfast along the shore.

Paradise ”
Smile Bungalows and the bottle beach are for me a little paradise on earth. Thanks heaven not for the most people, because it's too quiet, too complicated to get there, no hot water, no air condition, no Pool etc.

Amazing cheerful staff. They make this place truly special...even informally playing with the children so that the parent guests can have downtime during meals. I prefer Smile to nearby Bottle bungalows because it's next to a forested cliff, so you get more greenery and bird and insert sounds in the morning.

Nice location”
Location is beautiful. We stayed for 3nights, but wish we could stay longer. Everything is great, but do not forget to bring your own food, because eating every time at restaurant is quite expensive here.

A great place to stay if you like remote, beautiful and less populated places. Note: You cannot get there with a motorcycle, I had a drit bike and still I recommend walking from the parking space down to the beach.

Heavenly place. Not for party animals ”
The hotel & the beach of the bungalow is heavenly. However, the way of transportation is not good. You have to take local taxi & then long tail boat to reach the bungalow. Highly recommended for couples or family trip. Not for party animals.

Warning: very remote!”
It is located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are very basic and there is no hot water. The hotel restaurant is bland. I booked 5 days reading the hotel advertises itself as a great base to explore the island. But this is not true. It is either twenty minute drive on a dirt road that requires 4-wheel drive or 20 minutes on a small boat to the next paved road. We only stayed 3 days so we could explore the rest of the island. Hotel refused to refund the extra days we paid for through Agoda.
