I am writing this poolside at almost the exact spot the hotel's photo is taken from and there is nothing fake about it. I am here on a quick stop over and enjoying my time. The hotel staff are friendly and helpfull. Check in was a breeze and reception and porters made sure I had all I needed. The buffet breakfast was great and hosted with flair by Jackie -- hint, sit at the small corner table for breakfast and get a view of the city from two angles. I am trying a capsule room this time and it's an experience, a good one at that. It's a bit like sleeping in the starship Enterprise but wouldn't we all want to try that! A tip for people who may be less mobile, ask for a lower capsule, the steps up to the top deck may be tricky. The facilities throughout are well maintained and very clean. The rooftop bar is a treat. I wish I had more time here.

Sunland Hotel Ho Chi Minh City Hihly Recomemded to those looking for cheap price room rate. The Capsule has a modern design like you are in the space, privide you with your own TV, Headphone, safety deposite Box, Locker, Decent lightning. The Juinor suite has a very nice leaving area, clean, and a soft bed to sleep for. The Breakfast was good great variety of food. This is the Best Breakfast Buffet you looking for. Thank you Mr. Jacky Huynh for a Great Good Job!!!! Keep it up!!!! Sky bar has a wonderfull breezes at the night with amazing view....

I've been in Asia now a couple months and this is about my 7th hotel and is definitely the best so far. The service is fantastic! Everyone is very kind and helpful. Even the bellhops jup to assist you if you they see you waiting for the front desk. Everyone speaks very good English. The housekeeping don't harass you if you have the do-not-disturb sign up for days. I never needed my translation software and never had communication difficulty. The customer service manager, Jacky Huynh, is at the free breakfast every morning; you can hear him going around and speaking to every single guest and making sure that their stay is absolutely flawless. So even if I had some kind of complaint, I have no doubts he would have fixed it. You can't ask for more than that. Beautiful views. The rooftop restaurant/bar on the 15th floor shows a fantastic view of downtown Saigon, including Stark tower (google it). The food is very good with a nice selection of western and Vietnamese food. Amazing value, great location and fantastic staff”

We were really impressed with our stay and thought it was fantastic value. Our room was really spacious, the bed incredibly comfy, with a great view of the city. There’s everything you need right on the doorstep - lots of bars and restaurants to chose from, corner shop etc. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was really clean. Overall would definitely go back. It was a really nice extra having access to the pool, sauna, steam and sky bar. Even though it was small and there wasn’t loads of equipment having access to a gym was great too

Although this hotel is rated under 4 stars it is well above that as far as we were concerned. The service was exceptional. The a la carte breakfast, varied each morning, offers food for a ll tastes and the staff, lead by manager Jackie, go the extra mile to make sure is is a great experience. The food from the restaurant is reasonably priced for a hotel and is served quickly, even when ordered as in room service. The location is great with wonderful views from the top floor bar or swimming pool. The night clubs are only a few minutes walk should you want to go there and the Russian Market is nearly next door. The lifts are fast and efficient with no waiting. The only con is the hotel is not double glazed so you can hear the traffic but as we were on the 10th floor it was quite minimal and as the hotel is behind some shops and set back a bit from the road it may not impact lower floors much either. We have both agreed we would stay here again without hesitation.

This is the second time I've stayed here. It's great value for money, the location is good, staff are very helpful and the food and drinks are pretty dang good! The rooftop bar, by day or night, is fabulous. There's a very efficient and cheap (VND20k/kg) laundry shop just around the corner, and if you want a stroll it's about 20 mins to the War Remnants museum. Taxi to the airport came to VND180k including a tip. The staff are all good, especially Jacky who was very attentive and concerned that everything was right. Apparrently they've had a couple of bad reviews calling the staff rude and disinterested. I definitely did not find that at all, on either of the times I've stayed. Quite the opposite in fact. If I head back to HCM, and I hope to, I would have no issue at all staying here again. Thanks team, for a great stay!

Great stay”

Stayed in the pods, it was cool for the experience. But wouldnt do it for more than a night. We had an issue with our first pod, they moved us to another one quickly, but the second one didnt have AC. There was no where to put your stuff in the bathrooms. So maybe pods just arent for us. But other than that, they were clean. The pool was great. The restaurant was great. The staff was great. Would go back, but to a room.

Great Stay in Ho Chi Min ”

The staff right from the beginning were amazing. Johnny at the front counter when we arrived was so informative and patient even though we were tired. He helped us select our excursion for the next day and was very informative about the different ways to get around. The gentlemen at the front door who held the door and greeted us every time We came and went we so nice. The young guy called us Grabs and kept us informed On when they were coming. Now Jackie in the breakfast buffet is just another layer of amazing! He made everyone in the room feel welcome and made sure he got to know where everyone was from and how long they were visiting for. I can’t say enough about this hotel. I would stay again myself as well as recommend it to friends

I stayed at a Capsule Hotel for the first time. Wouldn't recommend if you're claustrophobic. but it's amazing, futuristic type of room. Always clean, bathroom, toilet, even the pool area, sauna and steamer. Even if u just paid for the capsule room, u have access to other floors which makes it even better. Perfect view of the city at the rooftop, accommodating and good customer service!

Brilliant for families!”

Our family of 5 loved our stay here, we had a family room which was basically 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 1 lounge room, it was perfect, clean and spacious! The staff were super friendly, especially manager at breakfast he was so happy and helpful. Location was great, many wonderful restaurants a short walk away and main attractions also. Kids love the pool!

Mr Jacky Huynh (apologies for spelling) was the concierge.Personally introduced himself to all guests at beakfast.Gave helpful local travel hints and was a joy...clearly loves his work. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Breakfast was tasty, room comfortable and all staff helpfull and friendly..Rooftop bar terrific.

Hi to every one that's reads this review....I stay in a Delux capsule witch was very good and had clean showers and toilets....I recommend trying it.... .....the wifi is good to.... Breakfast was good.,.pool is good to ...The staff in restaurant was very helpful and welcoming......The staff at the front desk and the door man was very good ...they would help you in any way ....evening getting you transport. And telling you were a convenience store was...you about 1km from walking street ......I rate this place at 8 out 10......as this was my first time to Vietnam.... I done a lot web browsering and reviews on this place before I book...... because what you see on all the accommodation site are not what you get when you get their.....this place is very good...I had a great time at this place... I it a Thumbs up

A Gem in Chiang Mai”

This older, established hotel is tucked away inside the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. It is a family run business and you feel the warmth of this fact. The kitchen is run by Nong and she is an amazing chef! From the gardeners, bellmen, receptionist, kitchen staff, and housekeeping, you will see all smiles and helpfulness! I am recommending everyone I know to stay here when they come to visit me as this beautiful city will soon be my home.

We were only in the city for a night and chose a capsule. This was a new experience for us and was fun to try but I think the next time we’ll stay in a room for a bit more space. The capsules have one locker and it couldn’t fully accommodate the belongings for two people. The hotel itself is lovely and so is the staff. We had dinner at the rooftop bar and the view was breathtaking. Pricing wise it was affordable and the food tasty. Try the pork dish that the staff recommend!! Breakfast was also great and was included with our capsule. There were tons of options - it was more like a brunch spread. We’d stay again because we didn’t get to explore the neighbourhood. It’s about a half hr from the airport. The facilities looked great. We didn’t use the gym, sauna or steam room but they all looked clean. We had a quick dip in the pool and it was nice and refreshing!
