Detailed Version: Location: The hotel is in an ideal location for all your tourist sightseeing. Ben Thanh Market is 500 meters away (5 mins walk), Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Saigon Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Duong` Sach' (Book Street), Opera House, Vincom, Bitexco Tower are all under 2km. You can also go to the wharf that's 2km away to take boat rides to Vung Tau. The hotel is located on Nguyen Thai Binh street which is filled with food stalls that offers tasty, authentic Vietnamese cuisines. You'll save a lot of time and money by just waking around the area eating all the delicious and very affordable food options. Hotel Amenities: Daily cooked to order breakfast. Each morning you'll be greeted by charming staff members who will offer 3 choices, 1 Vietnamese and 2 Western options. The menu changes daily so you'll have plenty of variety during your stay. The staff members can provide additional meals if you desire (and certainly I did =] ). The Hammock also provide free bottle waters, beer, soda pops, coffee/tea, chips, and instant noodles at the 9th floor reception area. Inside your room is also a refrigerator filled with all complimentary items. This is such a convenience as you'll grab drinks and snacks before you head out on your daily adventures. There are two washing and two drying machines on the roof top deck that's free to use (detergent provided). This is a luxury amenity to those who travel light and need to do laundry frequently. Totally enjoyed our stay here! My wife and I were pleasantly surprised upon reaching the hotel, we were told that drinks and snacks were free flow (beer included)! Staff were uber friendly and helpful and they wasted no time in recommending us places of interest in Ho Chi Minh. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. However, TV was in a slightly awkward position from where the bed is (placed after structural beam), but nonetheless not much of an issue for us. They do provide washing machines should you need to do your laundry, very convenient and another surprise for us. There's a very well maintained rooftop garden for you to sit, relax and chill to a nice cold beer (and the honks of Vietnamese bikes). On the topic of location, its situated in District 1 and pretty much close to most tourist attractions, and they're just a Grab call away. Ben Thành market is a walkable distance around 10 to 15 minutes, but you'll have to navigate through the tricky traffic. No issues for us after almost a day of walking around and getting used to the traffic. All in all, would totally recommend it and will definitely book Hammock Hotel should we fly back to Vietnam.!

Hammock is one of the best 3 stars hotel around. Your room come with Free minibar, snacks and beer. It’s easy to get around places, I use Grab (similar to UBER). Hammock staff are amazing! Friendly and easy going young gun. They are very good at attending to your needs. From reception to front entrance staff and even the cleaning staff are wonderful. High praise to the owner at Hammock for hand picking these awesome young gun... eg juliette, Eloise , Lily are just some hammock staff you will meet while staying. If you get horrible reviews about hammock it’s because there are some horrible people out there who just enjoy writing bad reviews on good hotels. I have stay so many times at the hammock and always a pleasant stay. Even if the hotel doesn’t meet my standard I would have no hesitation in returning because you know that hammock staff are always happy to help if humanly possible.

Best hotel in Vietnam”
We had such an amazing stay here and this was our best accommodation in Vietnam! The staff is so friendly and constantly makes sure you don’t need anything and everything is going well. The free breakfast is great and they have 3 different course options to choose from every morning. Another big plus here is that they have mini bars in your room and coolers in the lobby with unlimited water, beer, soda, milk, and juice for you to drink during your whole stay. The patio has a great rooftop view and is perfect to hang out on for some drinks. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. We had the bunk beds and they were big enough to fit 2 ppl in one mattress. The bathroom is great with amazing water pressure and hot temp.

The hotel is strategically located, it's a 5-10 mins walk to Ben Thanh Market and a 15-20 mins walk to Saigon river! I did not hire Grab or taxi while I was visiting the attractions like War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral etc. It's a walkable distance, if you don't mind walking. Took a map from the staffs, and it was really useful! There were some recommended tours on the map as well. The staffs were helpful throughout my stay and attended to my needs instantly whenever they could! The hotel room was amazing, I love the interior and the bed was so comfortable! Most importantly, all the beverages (alcohol, soft drinks and milk) and food at the lobby are free! Love how generous they are!

Fantastic hotel. Young, wonderful, helpful staff. The design everywhere is really inspiring. Loved everything: The rooftop and an amazing view, the hammocks, beautiful and tasty breakfast, comfy bed, clean, spacious room. Washing machine available. Great veg. restaurant 'Sen' 3 min. away. Coffee opposite the hotel, money exchange 2 min. down the road. The staff calls 'a Grab', and in a minute you are off for sightseeing. Walking distance to bus stop with transport to airport. Everything worked wonderfully, and the atmosphere is one in a million. Extended my 3 days to 6. Best hotel ever. Thanks for making my first Vietnam holiday unforgettable. I will definitely return.

Great hotel with a great concept in a fantastic location”
Stayed here for four nights in January 2020. Located 5-10mins walk from the bus stop for the 109 airport bus. Check in was quick and easy. Room was spacious with a cool hammock in it. Bathroom clean. Complimentary use of the minibar as well as drinks and snacks in the reception area. Cool rooftop seating area with a pool table. Complimentary laundry facilities. Morning breakfast was pleasant. Located walking distance to some of the key sights as well as bars and restaurants. Staff nice and friendly. Probably one of my most enjoyable city hotel stays. Would highly recommend the hammock hotel concept expanding!

The bed is so comfortable and clean, and I love the feel of the blankets and how they offer more pillows than other places. The staff is super friendly and polite. I have stayed here on and off throughout my vacation as I tour in vietnam and make sure this is the spot I take a break in. The rooftop is a great place to hang out. The amenities are out of this world: free do-it-yourself laundry (detergent provided), free snacks, free drinks........this is definitely the hot spot. Thumbs up to the whole staff!!!!!

A very friendly and cool hotel”
The hotel was located in district 1 and it was very easy to find. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The receptionist on the 9th floor helped me a lot with checking out early. The security guy on ground floor helped me catch a cab at 4AM. It was fun to find out that the receptionist was on 9th floor. The design of the hotel was really cool. The thing I liked best about the hotel was that every sleeping rooms were in their quiet zone and it was very quiet to sleep. The bunk bed was very comfortable to sleep. Everything was nice and clean.

An absolute hidden gem in D1”
Excellent employees; coupled with good knowledge, attitude and nothing to pick on! The staffs were a young and enthusiastic bunch, spoke good english (important for the tourists) and was fun to chat with. Decor of the room is very modern, the hammock installation exudes a different flavour and the platform bed makes everything seems just right. Roof top bar was nicely decorated with a pool table and not forgetting the free flow snacks and beer!! Could just spend the whole day doing nothing but enjoying the cold cans of 333 with the view of HCMC. The Blush Spa which is located on 1F belongs to the hotel and there was a discount during my visit! Emma, the manager was impressive! If you want a getaway from the usual commercial or business hotels, The Hammock is where you should be as I like the room more than my own! *I always felt an affinity with the hotel because of it's concept and design and incidentally found out that the owners of hotel are my fellow locals!*

Quirky and comfortable hotel ”
The Hammock Hotel deserves more than 5 stars. A funky and functional hotel in the heart of HCM. They are bold in using dark colors for the interior design, look at how the colors pop! I thought I wouldn’t be using the hammock at all, yet found myself sitting on it to stretch out my tired legs while I gaze out at the chaotic traffic. And free flow of beers….. which hotel does that? The aircon and shower water pressure work very well. Staff is competent. You can take many IG worthy photos at the roof top too!

Perfect stay in Ho Chi Minh”
We showed up late at night very tired. The staff were so friendly and welcomed us in quickly. The room was very clean and thought out with everything you could thing of supplied from great smelling soap and shampoo to a hand sanitizer and a reusable shopping bag to borrow for your day out. Breakfast was yummy and prompt, there were lots of free snacks/drinks in the lobby and the rooftop was a perfect place to relax Would highly recommend!

Best hotel ever in vietnam”
We been travelling to North middle and south of Vietnam. This is the best. Not to mention free snack and drink but also rooftop area that we can relax in the evening. I like their breakfast concept. Order what you want and need. Not to waste food. Food are good appearance. Not only look good but taste good also. Staff can speak fluent English compare to others. And very helpful. Good on Attend our question and issues. Well training. Only area to improve but doesn't bother me which is their air-con is abit old, hence some noise. Clean room and welll equip with everything you need.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the workers are super helpful! They helped us book the bus tickets to our next destination and retrieved my tumbler for me (I lost it in the taxi). The breakfast is simple but it’s still good. The only issue we had with the room is that the bathroom door could not be closed properly and the water wasn’t draining well. We’ll probably stay here again!

Best hotel in HCM”
I have to say that I am very impressed with them. The fist time I stayed at the Ben Thanh branch months back and the service was excellent. This time round I tried their fine arts museum branch and it was exceptional. I was surprised that some staff from Ben Thanh branch shifted to fine art museum and they remember my name. !! They even know what I like for breakfast !! I felt so at home. I do travel a lot in the region and certainly the hammock team has made my day and leave me a lasting impression. I will surely 100000% come back to this hotel !! Kudos hammock team !! Well done.

Stayed for 2 nights in a deluxe room. The reception area, room and rooftop are all nicely designed and very comfortable. Staff are very nice. The deluxe room had every amenity you can think of and more. Breakfast was delicious but was on the smaller portion size. I would highly recommend staying there.

Although I was only in HCMC for just 1 night, I was very happy to have made to decision to stay in The Hammock Hotel Fine Arts Museum. Every aspect of the hotel was so welcoming, from the facilities, the amenities, the staff, to the room. Their inclusive concept with complimentary snacks and drinks makes it more feel like your own home than a hotel. In addition, the rooms were done with a level of attention to detail which I have not seen before in this type of hotel category. As my flight to Bangkok left only late afternoon, I was allowed to hang out in the common areas until my taxi came to pick me up. And even still enjoy the snacks and drinks! My only regret was that I was not able to stay longer...

I love this hotel! Free flow of beer, carbonated drinks, milk, snacks! Free pool table free soccer game! Staffs are all friendly with good english. Free breakfast from 7am-12pm. Walking distance to ben tanh market and the famous pham ngu lao. Worth the price. Very clean room. Very nice design. Definitely will come back again! I am 200% satisfied!

Great friendly hotel ”
Clean nice with plenty beer coffee tea coke etc and snacks with milk and cup noodles etc. All day food available. Right next door is a posh restaurant with same nightly rate but no food. Very friendly. Include free laundry with dryer. Laundry detergent also provided so you no need to buy. Hammock in room is unique comfortable.
