Camera claustrofobica. La finestra si apre solo di 10 cm e considerati i tempi che corrono il ricambio d’aria sarebbe stato fondamentale per sentirmi tranquilla. Per di più ho avuto la sfortuna di svegliarmi di notte per una scossa di terremoto, che ho percepito ancorché l’epicentro fosse molto lontano, e il fatto di non poter avere una finestra da aprire non è stato molto piacevole. Il mio voto basso per la pulizia è solamente per questa questione dell’aria, altrimenti l’albergo era pulito.

Sono stato piu di 15 giorni in questa struttura ,pulizia della stanza tutti i giorni con cambio di asciugamani,buona la connessione a internet per scaricare la posta ma non permette nessun tipo di dowlnload.Ottima la,piscina per rilassarsi,e molto buona la qualita del cibo che offrono.Il personale sempre molto attento e discreto.Consiglio a tutti questo albergo.
Sun Hotel and Spa Legian was budget friendly and overall you get what you pay for. The location was on a fairly quiet enough street, although there were still plenty of people outside trying to get your business 😂. The Wi-Fi was good and the room was clean enough, but it always felt a bit damp. The hotel itself was quite noisy, with hallways backing onto the rooms and the pool area sitting in the centre, so sound carried easily. The pool looked big enough for a few families, although I did not end up using it. The shower was tiny and had very little water flow. The elevator buttons were also a bit shonky. I stayed for 7 nights, which felt too long, but at roughly *** IDR per night I did not have a big issue with it. One thing I will say is the place seems to come with a built-in alarm clock.

Firstly this is not a 5star hotel. I would say it's around a 3. I had a pool side room which cost me around 70 Aus Dollars per night. The poor now has a ladder to get into it via the children's pool area. There is no spa and the water is cold. There are 2 chairs and a table outside the room to enjoy a pool side cocktail or dinner. It was a nice room with air conditioning, kettle for coffee and tea and 2 bottles of water each day was provided. It can get a bit noisy by the pool due to people not paying attention to the rules but this didn't really bother. There is a restaurant at the hotel, prices are aligned with other places but the food is a hit and miss and service can be very slow all the time. The staff were helpful, pleasant and polite. Our room was cleaned daily but sheets were not changed the entire time we were there. The motel is located between 10-20minute walk from the beaches and the popular shopping streets of Garlic Lane and Poppy's Lane. It was less than a 5min walk from Yes Spa which is a lovely place to go to pamper yourself. Jenny who is a shop vendor opposite the hotel can take your washing, charges by the kilo and can have it back either same day or next day all washed, folded and smelling amazing for near to nothing paid. The lady with the store next to Jenny's is also very lovely. Both have great prices and sizes for clothing. KoKo Cafe which is down the street serves the best latte and Mozzarella Restaurant opposite the cafe is a 5star hotel with this amazing place to enjoy a lovely meal and show depending on the evening you go. Booking to eat there are not necessary and shows usually commence at around 7pm. I would book at The Sun Hotel & Spa Legian again as it was central to everything I did however it is a good hour to 2.5 hours from any attractions such as the zoo, Heaven's Gate, temples, etc I was pleasantly surprised as the hotel did exceed my expectation.

I'm happy during my stay, it has nice room. I'm staying during Nyepi (Silence day), so of course it's nice and silent. but the night before Nyepi, the road is crowded and the noices from the cafe nearby is so loud. If you don't mind with the noices until midnight , this is the best one.

Well a very nice and clean place...great location...room had tv kettle fridge etc all working and very good new elevators ...only minor issue was we did not realise that base rooms did not have a balcony...would upgrade next time...a very good value for money option... M
I arrived, my room had a mold Odor, asked for new room, was granted without hesitation, and my new room was perfect. Room Was super clean and I have no complaints whatsoever about the hotel or it's facilities. The breakfast buffet is more than enough, a handful of various dishes to choose from, unless you're SUPER picky you'll have no issues with the breakfast. This hotel was the only bright spot in Kuta. As good as the hotel was i had to cut my stay short. The surrounding area is full of hustlers and drug dealers. Absolutely impossible to walk around peacefully
I read reviews before booking. The main complaints were the band noise at nights, average breakfast and dodge showers. Band noise- I didn’t mind until karaoke from the other hotel was on. My 11 year old had trouble getting to sleep consequently making him a grumpy child the next day. Breakfast- yes average. Noodles and other dishes were cold. Bacon very average. After three days I believe my husband and I got food poisoning. We didn’t eat there again and had breakfast around the corner at the Pad. Shower- yes very pokie and found it hard to shave my legs but was able to wash and clean myself. Room- Family room which essentially was a connecting room. Was good clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms were cleaned every day except the day I was sick! Pool- very disappointed. Not many options to sit around the pool. My son was the only one that swam. Was not inviting. Staff were friendly but not as friendly as we are use too. Location- this area is one of my favourite areas. It had a laundry service and a coco right across the road, money changers just up the lane. So close to the some of my favourite restaurants and spas.
I found hotel and my room well kept and clean,..Breakfast was good with plenty of choices,,Area ..Good area for walking,beach ,garlic lane etc..plenty of restaurants around as well..I would stay here again next trip
We absolutely LOVE LOVE this hotel!!! The staff are so beautiful, friendly, happy and always willing to lend a hand!! Have been several times and the rooms are always clean and immaculate!!
If I overlook the average breakfast, the ants in the cornflakes dispenser that weren't cleaned out or replenished for the 10 nights we stayed, the thick black hair that was cooked into the fried eggs we received, the morning when no signs were displayed for the breakfast dishes and no staff noticed (like the ants), the rooms we were moved to midway through our stay that had a shower that didn't drain and the whole room that had a sewer smell to it, the flooded floor from the leaking air conditioner in the other room, the shower head that barely let any water through and the curtain that came off the rails when opened because the end caps weren't put back on but were sitting on the window sill, it was OK. To their credit they repaired the drain in the shower and the weak flow shower head promptly. The air con leak was mopped up quickly and didn't occur again. Overall more attentive staff and a higher level of cleanliness (including around the pool area) would greatly improve the overall enjoyment of staying in this hotel. Price and location was what prompted me to stay in this hotel, unfortunately I should have gone with other reviewers recommendations to exclude breakfast. The hotel next door "The Mahata" has excellent food that is reasonably priced in their beautiful restaurant, with very friendly staff. Maybe their breakfast would be a good option.
My brief 3 night stay here was comfortable. The rooms presented well for an older hotel. Efficient aircond, firm bed, good hotwater. Lift to all floors. Budget hotel but good value. Friendly staff & housekeeping was always done early unlike alot of other hotels. Close to shopping, restaurants, money changers, laundries.
The Sun Spa hotel was in a good location in Legian. It was quiet and within walking distance to a wide variety of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, salons and much more. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the spa on level 6 was probably the best massage I had my entire trip. (miss Daisy) was fantastic. A little higher priced than the street places but it was definitely worth it! The downside, was the pool, which is very run down, the room that I had was on ground level and poolside. It was small, and needs upgrading. The lighting in the room was dim and the aircon struggled to keep up with the heat. It was however clean, and had daily servicing with bottles of water each day. I didn’t eat at the restaurant. The breakfast looked appealing but dinner not so much. At best the rating for this place would be 2.5 stars and that is being generous. I personally would not choose to stay here again but if you are after somewhere cheap, clean, central with friendly staff then the sun spa would work!
Lokasi hotelnya masuk gang gitu, kalau bawa kendaraan dan keluar hotel lumayan agak effort kalau utk nonlokal tp dari pelayanan dan fasilitas cukup ok! Paling cuma kamar mandi nya aja bagian shower terlalu sempit terutama utk tamu yg memiliki tubuh agak besar. Kamarnya kurang kedap suara jd bisa denger org ngobrol di koridor dan pintunya agak sulit utk di tutup jadinya jedar jeder deh berisik kalo pd nutup pintu. Utk lokasinya enak cukup dekat kmn2 dan staff2nya ramah! Utk kembali lg yes possibly.

We enjoyed our stay, staff were extremely friendly. Rooms were very clean & beds so comfy. Air conditioning was a winner!! Only ‘negative’ feedback would be the showers - water pressure was very low so was a struggle to wash long hair! Breakfast was very tasty 😊
I am disappointed with my stay, out of 7 nights staying at this hotel I was able to have 1 single night of uninterrupted sleep, the cleaning staff were overly noisy at 3AM each morning…walking loudly around outside pool side rooms and stomping when using the stairs. The lack of respect for guests sleep surprises me! Needless to say I was one tired person and sadly will not return to this hotel. This ruined my holiday :(

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sun Hotel & Spa. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was conveniently close to nearby attractions and shops. Our room was cleaned every morning, allowing us to rest well after exploring Bali. However, the property itself appeared a bit old, and the body of the air conditioner in our room was not in the best condition (although it still functioned effectively). It would greatly improve the overall experience if the AC unit could be repaired to enhance the aesthetics. We do have a suggestion regarding the breakfast menu. It would be beneficial if the menu could be changed occasionally. During our stay, we noticed that the breakfast options remained the same every day, which led us to purchase breakfast outside the hotel. Adding variety to the breakfast menu would be greatly appreciated by guests.
enjoyed our stay here with a nice buffet breakfast, walking distance to the beach. On the return day, we had night flight at 9pm, eventhough our check out time was at 12pm, Until late evening we got ourselves on the beach , than returned back to the hotel and the staffs were kind and considerable enough allowing us shower and get changed before leaving to the airport and that was late evening, we also got an opportunity to leave our baggages at the hotel safely until we left the hotel. Just one thing below the toilet around the floor needed cleaning. Will come back again. thanks!
Room was pretty good. I had pool side. Bed comfortable. Room more than adequate. Pool needs a ladder up opposite end. I can't pull myself out so was annoying to have to go to one end to get in and out. Stayed in Oct. Water nice.
What an amazing hotel! I've stayed in the 'pool access' room as I've got a little girl who needs to jump in as often as she likes, without needing to go up and down the stairs/ elevator. They have a kid's section pool, so it's safe for the little ones. The room gets cleaned daily with fresh bed sheets. All the staff from front of house to kitchen and housekeepings are amazing and kind with great humour! There are no gym facilities in the building, so if you're looking to buff up, this is not the place to stay. Live music every night at the hotel restaurant, great for those lazy nights where you just wanted to stay in. 5 minutes walk to Legian Street. 10 minutes walk to beach. Hotel is in great location and family friendly. I would highly recommend! I miss this place, and mostly the Staff. From, Room 104

I love some of the rooms with direct excess to the swimming pool. Location is great, in between Legian n Kuta. It is located away from d traffic jams of Kuta n Legian, with easy access out of that area. Breakfast is good. Thr is parking available, WiFi n a lounge with live band sometimes. Many 24 hrs convenient stores nearby with short walk to Legian Beach.
This is not our usual accommodation type when visiting Bali. But being we were only there for 4 nights we wanted something that was centrally and conveniently located. Location is amazing, and cost is fantastic, no street noise was heard at night. The rooms are a little dated but not too bad and the bed was comfortable. For a short stay, I would recommend.
Nothing wrong with the Sun if you are looking for aircon, a pool, a firm bed to sleep and location to some of the best eateries in legian. Perfect if you need a place to rest and cool down in. Great for mates trips. Budget suited me considering I was out a lot during the day exploring. Wouldn't recommend if you're expecting something large, spacious and romantic. Comfortable and cool. Enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel with a breakfast & comfortable sleep experience. The location was convenient for shopping. However, there is no view from the room and bathroom could use some improvements. The staff were friendly and facilities were good contributing to an overall positive experience.
I booked this room on behalf of a friend who was staying across the road and had an awful experience over the 2 nights she stayed there of her 14. We had one friend already staying here at the sun who was enjoying her stay with no complaints. After my friend moved here for her remaining 12 nights, she was immediately met with the cold aircon walking in the room. The staff were always helpful and very accommodating. The rooms were nice and dark at night with a comfortable bed. She plans on staying again very soon. Thank you.
Advantage The swimming pool is quite long(but narrow). Three types of convenience stores right in front of this hotel. Many good restaurants nearby. The room has two type of plugs. The air conditioner on the fifth floor works well. The refrigerator on the second floor works well. Disadvantages Some rooms are infested with tiny bugs and ants. While staying for 8 days, I saw 3 kinds of bugs on the beds, and some of them went around and bite. It was uncomfortable because bugs smaller than ants kept going inside my suitcase and the laptop between keyboard buttons. I killed an average of 200 ants a day. The room on the second floor was very humid and stinking, maybe because of the swimming pool or because the air conditioner was broken. The fifth-floor bed was better but the fridge didn't work. They need to change some bed covers. The internet was horribly slow. (But I guess it's the average speed in Bali) For 8 days, I've hardly seen that water system in the pool working. People smoke and drink around the pool. (I didn't care about it because I did too.) Late checkout is not possible. I visited the lobby counter to see if I can check out during the afternoon or I wanted to extend one night after I checked there are 10 rooms left by checking the Agoda app, but they denied saying all the rooms were booked, and I should leave on time.
Room was clean and tidy, very very basic but was ok for a night or two if you’re not there for the resort type hotel and you plan on being out most of the day. Pool is basic, towels are old and could all be replaced. Again great value for money if you’re not the 5 star accommodation type!
We booked a few rooms to stay here the day of our late flight. It was perfect for this situation. We dropped our bags off at 12 went for lunch and came back at 2 for check in. Staff were helpful in holding our bags and bringing them to our room. We have three kids so the help was appreciated. Rooms were clean and all we needed for an arvo sleep and swim before our long flight back to NZ at 11pm. Thank you!
I didn't use the pool as it was more like a paddling pool at 1.2m max(picture is so exaggerated). Only 7 loungers and four chairs so if you didn't have a pool side room it was a little difficult to find anywhere to sit. A lot of "staycationers" with loud children. Echoes throughout because of design. I laid in bed and could hear the littlens in the pool round the other side. Cleaners were good and room was clean and well equipped with TV,hair dryer,kettle and safe. Good soft bed.Bathroom nice and bright with towels, toiletries and plenty of hot water.Not sound proofed at all, single pane glass. Aircon was good except when sun came round .2 Lifts. Carpark,security and restaurant. Live music. Very loud with music at night till about 2300 . Hustle and bustle is from 0500 till about 0100h. I wouldn't recommend because of the thin glass but all in all a nice room if you didn't have kids(I could imagine them going through it). Polite staff. Worth the price.Thank you🙏
Price & location were awesome. Didn’t LOVE the room but was definitely comfortable & clean. Super cheap for where it is! Don’t bother with the breakfast though, very basic for westerners & the Indonesian food they had was luke warm & not very appealing. I would eat out locally, so many great breakfast around the hotel for a good price
Good hotel, comfy bed, good A/C clean pool. Great b/fast & cheap $10 buffet. Only set back small shower & hot water almost non existent. Can be noisy if kids in the pool as noise travels up.
Helpful staff, quick check in, clean, and very comfy bed.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this hotel! Cant wait to go back!
