La struttura è essenziale ma davvero molto bella! La spiaggia di fronte è perfetta!”
I bungalow sono arredato in modo essenziale ma c'è tutto e sono a pochi passi dalla spiaggia che da alcuni di essi si vede ( noi eravamo un po' più in alto immersi nella "foresta" bellissimo!) Il ristorante è il luogo anche per le colazioni ed è molto buono e di atmosfera ed è sulla spiaggia. La baia è spaziosa e l'acqua molto bella. Se non cercate la ressa delle feste è il posto giusto, il villaggio è ben servito e in moto o in taxy si possono raggiungere le altre zone dell'isola. Consigliato anche a chi ha bimbi. Il personale cortese e discreto, ma efficace in caso di necessità. Di prassi non cambiano gli asciugamani durante il soggiorno, ma basta chiedere che se ne hanno di puliti. Noi consigliamo la struttura e la zona! Organizzano escursioni in barca quindi si può tranquillamente raggiungere altri punti se la vostra permanenza è lunga.

Hotel piacevole, camere buone ma un po da rinnovar”
Camere buone anche se un po' da rinnovare, qualità-prezzo buona e ottimo ristorante sulla spiaggia.Se andate a ko phangan per la vita notturna, questo locale è dall'altra parte dell'isola rispetto alla zona dei locali per cui non ve lo consiglio. Se come noi vi volete riposare e andare a dormire col buoi, va benissimo.

Natura e relax”
il soggiorno presso il thongtapan è stato veramente bello, una fuga da suoni e città, decisamente consigliato a famiglie e coppie, non adatto a single in cerca di divertimento e feste. il bungalow prenotato corrispondeva alle mie aspettative, molto carino e rustico nell'apparenza esterna, curato e pulito dentro. la reception è inefficiente e poco gentile a parte una sola persona che invece si prodiga per andare incontro al cliente e cercare di dare il supporto in ogni occasione.

Relex e confort ”
Abbiamo soggiornato in bassa stagione, ma è stato proprio per questo meraviglioso! Non ci siamo mai spostati dalla spiaggia del resort! Ottimo il ristorante della colazione dove abbiamo scelto di mangiare anche a pranzo e a cena. Fate 2 passi e la sera trovare tanti chioschi di souvenir e locali dove divertirvi. Ci tornerei sicuramente!

L'inferno in un paradiso ”
PREGI: Il posto e la struttura sono meravigliosi. Si mangia benissimo. E il luogo è un paradiso: alberi giganteschi illuminati, amache su cui cullarsi, altalene in legno su cui dondolarsi sotto agli alberi. DIFETTI: Le camere sono l'orrore vero e proprio. Da fuori sembrano carinissima, ma "non aprite quella porta"!! Lenzuola sporche, buchi in ogni dove, bagni che nemmeno gli ebrei sotto il nazismo....putridi, quasi completamente al buio e che nascondono blatte e altri animali simili che escono da ogni parte. Mare di Formiche che invadono la stanza, ragni com un diametro di 10 cm che saltano dal soffitto... Se volete posso continuare. Ho messo che lo consiglio solo perché voglio dargli una possibilità ma solo per le camere fronte mare completamente in muratura. Tipo villetta. Ma non so come possano essere.... Purtroppo questo orrore è in un posto troppo bello per non essere vissuto...

I'm currently staying here. So far, so good. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is great, it sits in the middle of high end resorts, white sand, calm water and lush environment.

Comfy bungalows right by the beach”
This was our second stay at the resort as we love the location on a quieter part of the island. Recommend renting a scooter and riding to bottle beach or thong nai pan Yai beach for calmer water at this time of year(Feb). The beds are comfortable and the bungalows are a good size with a terrace. Only obvious improvement would be fridges one the room

We enjoyed our stay in the bungalows (group of 5 in 3 bungalows). Fabulous staff and always friendly and helpful. Wish I could say the same of the staff in the restaurant. One of our friends went to check out the bbq and ask for the price of a few prawns, he walked away saying thanks. As we were eating our dinner, the guy from the bbq came over with the cooked prawns. We said we haven’t ordered them but he insisted we had. 4 times we said we haven’t ordered them but they kept coming back. We asked for the bill and they were on our bill 1000 baht, again we said we did have them and they were not ordered. Eventually they were taken off and we paid the remainder but were then shortchanged by 500 baht. Finally we got the 500 baht and decided we would eat elsewhere form then on.

What a peaceful place”
Good comfortable bungalow in a beautiful tranquil setting, lovely beach great for swimming! Check in and out easy, Front desk staff very helpful, generally all staff polite, and just loved the massage ladies!!! 5 minute walk to walking street where you can find other restaurants to change it up! Mostly all positive only con I can think of is don’t ask for beef at the restaurant but hey that’s a minor con. I’d thoroughly recommend this peaceful and relaxing accomodation.

A little gem right on the beach! ”
I absolutely LOVED this place. I was traveling as part of a group for a friend's birthday, but I wanted to book my own place (so I could have some personal space). Thongtapan was a 5 minute walk from my friends' Airbnb, it was right on the beach, the rooms were well decorated, comfortable, and clean, the restrurant was delicious, and the staff were wonderful! I actually decided to stay an extra night, and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. I will definitely be back to visit again, and I plan on staying at Thongtapan! Thank you so much for the lovely stay.

Bliss on a stick!”
We have been coming back to Thongtapan 3 years now and what a surprising find. Crystal clear sea, fine white sand, romantic lantern restaurant with outstanding food and service(sand underfoot and shade trees above). Staff are lovely and Joey is amazing in reception...nothing is ever too much trouble. Location is incredible with 3 bays all connected. Very calm sea in September and just enough wind to keep you cool. 5* resorts all along this stunning beach and being family run, Thongtapan, will hopefully be running for many more years. For the price this is a gem!

Nice for a short stay”
We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the kind staff and the tasty breakfast with view! Bungalow is okay. Beach is chilled and there are sweet bars and restaurant close. If you want to discover the other side of the island or go to Thong Sala at night you should be a proven biker as the way up to Thong Nai Pan is sometimes kinda adventurous and there will be no lights after sunset.

A piece of paradise”
The resort is incredible. Not too fancy, but perfectly fitting the surroundings. Other resorts nearby have a pool, a fancy restaurant and a lot of concrete, but the first is useless since the resort itself is almost on the beach and the restaurant here is the best, with very good fresh bbq every day. This place is perfect for nature lovers. The staff is great, Joey (the Filipino guy) is super helpful and all the ladies have a good English. Note: the area is a “couple/family” area, so as a solo traveler you might feel lonely without a motorbike. Personally I made this place my “office” for a week and I had great time (WiFi is also good).

Locally owned beachfront resort on gorgeous beach ”
The report is the only locally owned hotel on the beach and has everything you need. It’s considerably cheaper and more relaxed than other resorts, and they are generous with equipment like stand up paddle boards to enjoy the beach. The restaurant and bar attached are friendly and spill onto the beach. Rooms are simple but excellent for the price.

The only downside to this resort was that it was a 40 minute drive from the pier and the main town, which we found far. Otherwise: clean room, friendly and helpful staff, and very pretty, easily accessible beach.

Great location at the end of one of the best beaches”
Bungalows were set back from the beach up the hill. Nice and private and located by an amazing beach. Short walk into the village for shops, restaurants and scooter rental. Bar right on the beach with cheap cocktails(happy hour 5-8pm). Would definitely stay here again
