Really conveniently located, the sky bus picks up and drops off just behind (1 min walk) and walk across the road and your at Sth Bank. Location is ideal! Room was comfortable, clean and pretty spacious. Good bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. All of this for a competitive price. Will definitely stay again for location and comfort.

No frills hotel, no problems, excellent location”
i booked the accessible room, as I was temporarily disabled. Super comfy beds, and with all the basics you need. Enjoyed breakfast for $15 in the morning. Don’t expect luxury but you pay for the location. Recommended.

It's located very near the Southbank and walking distance to the free tram ride zone. Next to the Eureka Tower (Melb tallest tower) and Crown casino. Food are aplenty around the Southbank and a great value Italian takeout (Pizzas & pastas) at Roza's Kitchen (highly recommended by TripAdvisor) just across the BMW showroom.

One of the few hotels that offer a decent breakfast as a package with your room. Because of this, breakfast can get crowded and run out of some items from time to time, but that indicates how good it is. Would definitely choose this place again when back in Melbourne. Parking could be made a bit cheaper, but otherwise no complaints.

Easy to drive too, from North of City (NSW), no need to dodge trams or driving in the CBD. Excellent value for $. Clean & excellent staff.

Great location, nice clean rooms. The pillows were especially comfortable. Parking was close enough, and at $22/night wasn't a bad price for Melbourne - plenty of spaces available, and not as cramped as some car parks I've encountered (I have an SUV). Love the 11am checkout! Staff were friendly. Was my 3rd time staying, and I'll be back again no doubt.

We have stayed at the Travelodge Southbank many times. Excellent location, a short walk to Southbank bars and restaurants. We're usually there for concerts. The hotel arrangement for overnight parking is cheap, convenient and allows you to leave the car and walk or take return water taxis to concert venues. Fabulous, helpful staff, reasonable costs, good basic buffet breakfast (book ahead for discount), BYO frills, water bottles, etc... we keep coming back

The room was clean and comfortable. It was also good value for what you pay. The Service was a high standard. I would recommend to those that wish to stay in Southbank on a budget and to enjoy the cafes, restaurants and Crown Casino.
